I was staying one night and had a room with beautiful view to neighbourhood and mountains. The staff was kind and very serviceminded e.g. they fixed a taxi for me for 1200 LEK to the airport. Breakfast was great: egg, sausage and vegetables - I especially enjoyed the fresh orange juice. The room was clean, functional and pleasant with airconditioning and balcony with a table and chairs. The minibar made a little noice but luckily I had my earplugs with me and slept well. You could eat as cheap as 450 LEK for ½ roasted chicken with vegetables and two small draft beer in the area. It takes about 5-10 minutes by car to downtown or ca. 50 minutes to walk - by bus or bicycle about 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend Bonsai Hotel! Lene Kim from Copenhagen, Denmark

There was a strong fragrance which was supposed to smell nice but I would prefer a room without a strong fragrance and just natural or neutral. But it wasn't a problem I just took the fragrance-bowl outside while I was staying at the hotel.

The hotel had an amazing view and offered the most comfortable bed. We really felt welcome and taken care of. Higly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Bonsai Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tirana. The atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming, with a modern, clean design that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. The housekeeping services were top-notch, maintaining the rooms to a high standard. The breakfast was also a highlight—large and tasty, with a variety of options to start the day off right. The location is very convenient—close to TEG Mall and just a short drive from the city center. It's also only 100 meters from the highway, making it easy to access and explore the museums and attractions in Tirana, all while being away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

There was nothing wrong,

I loved it. Great, friendly staff, wonderful view to the mountains from the balcony, beds are comfy, the breakfast is of great quality. They even made us the breakfast a bit early, at 7.20, so we could head to the airport on time. They printed our boarding passes and also speak good English. There is a good supermarket close by and a big park short drive away. There is parking both in the front and under the building. I would definitely stay here when in Tirana.

The odor from the bathroom, that tried to enter the bedroom too. The room was quite small if you have big luggage. We didn’t, so not a problem for us.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel, located just a quick 15-minute drive from Tirana. The hotel itself is beautifully modern and elegant. Every detail, from the elegant décor to the comfortable furnishings, made for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. Ari, a staff member, went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. His kindness and humility stood out, and he was always quick to respond whenever I had a question or request. His professionalism made the check-in process seamless, and he continued to provide excellent service throughout my stay. After a long drive, I was thrilled to find a massage chair waiting for me in the room — a thoughtful touch that made unwinding after the trip so much easier. This attention to detail and comfort is something I truly appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious yet cozy place to stay near Tirana. It was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Nothing!!!

The hotel isn’t too far from the center of Tirana if you come by car. The hotel was a breathtaking all by itself. I’ve rarely been a hotel like this where the staff was kind and attentive this much. When we arrived to the worker on the reception asked me where did we park. I said that we couldn’t park in front of the hotel because the parking lot was full. He said that I can give the car key to him and he will park in the underground garage, and I did so. They wanted to help us take our suitcase to our room. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was enough, and it was really delicious. Overall we had a wonderful night at Hotel Bonsai and I highly recommend you to visit this place.

My only problem is that we couldn’t stay more than one night.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and very clean! The breakfast offer a choice of food and we really liked it. The coffee and fresh orange juice was superb! We learn to catch the local bus L8 Quonder -soak -terminal (I may not spell it correctly) and in minutes you are in the Center for 40 Lek per person (you are buying the tickets on the bus). Going back don’t make the mistake of taking the bus sanatorium - you always need the Quonder- souk terminal. I can recommend the hotel to everybody - we had a very nice stay :) and really nice time in Tirana.

We got noisy neighbours for one night. The pavement walking around hotel it’s a hit and missed 🙈

We felt so welcome at the Hotel Bonsai. Each staff member always made sure we were cared for, offering us regular help. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning in our room - absolutely delicious. The cleaning staff didn't bother us in the morning and always waited until after we had left to clean the room. We never felt rushed or hurried to be away and always felt welcomed when we returned. The staff were super helpful in showing us where the bus into town was and how we can contact taxis if we needed to. They also showed us some lovely places to eat and drink. We speak several languages and felt awful that we only spoke limited albanian- but the staff's English was fantastic. There were no communication issues. Honestly, we can't wait to make another booking - each day at the hotel bonsai really made the holiday....coming back to relax at a place where you know you're welcome. Thank you so much to all the staff - we are so excited to make this our regular holiday!
