We got this room for 1 night before flying out of Tirane the next day. 1 thing to note, you are on not on the side of the road heading towards the airport, you are on the side of the road heading towards Tirane, which means you will have to drive towards Tirane to a round about to get back on the right side of the road heading to the airport. Depending on what time you are leaving, it may or not be a problem for you, but it is definitely good to add some time in for that. Our flight was at 10 am on Monday and we left at 7:45 am. There was a lot of traffic so that stint added on about 10 mins. The rooms were mostly very nice, the windows were a little dirty and almost like not sealed, when standing by them it sounded like they were open, but I couldn't see anything to close, so not sure what that was about. It was pretty quiet in the hotel, not sure if that's because there wasn't a lot of people there or it's well insulated. The shower/bathroom was very nice. We paid a few dollars extra for the balcony, I would say that was not really worth it. I would probably stay her again for the convenience of the airport and closeness to the city (if I wanted to do one last trip to the city before flying out). I wouldn't stay here for exploring Tirane in general though. The location is still pretty far for going back and forth to the city, which is a lovely place to explore and walk.

The girls at the front desk could've been a little nicer. The rooms could've been a little cleaner. (Windows to be specific).

Everything is very clean, and hotel staff is very nice. There is a bar, gym, restaurant, rooms are spacious with fridge inside. Food was really good. Buffet type breakfast, Adriana is really on top of things so everything goes smoothly. The hotel's chef will prepare you the best dinner you can have after getting home from your daily trips. There is a roof top swimming pool that should open sometime in may. Casa Italia shopping centre is a 5min walk where you can do food shopping. Hire car company is 10min walk opposite hotel. Vodafone shop is 10min walk to get local sim card. Good location to either get to central Tirana from hotel or to get on the highway to drive up north into the mountains, or down south towards the sea.

Due to being next to a very busy 3x3 lane road we could always hear the roar of the traffic but was never that bad that we couldn't sleep and the fact that how clean everything was, the staff, the food made us forget about this downside anyway.

The staff were great, and there was one that was particularly outstanding (Adriana). The facility was super. It would have been perfect if the swimming pool was available. The food was really nice and considerably cheap compared to other restaurants we visited. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would say 9.5 for me and would visit again. Money well spent.

The pool wasn't working when we got there. However, there was a small print we missed that the pool was seasonal.

This hotel has a business vibe and it is great if you want to stay in Tirana but close to the airport. The stuff at the hotel makes it a great place to stay (espacially the receptionist who accommodated us). They are really nice and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, the room was quite cozy (the hotel itself not so much). The pool on the rooftop is nice.

The hotel is next to a high frequented road so it depends if that’s something desired. Some of the windows are not closing properly but our room was changed right after we showed them. There were missing some additional amenities in the bathroom like cotton buds and pads. The laundry service is quite expensive. There is no much to do in the closest neighborhood of the hotel (maybe some billiard table would be good to have).

Very good breakfast, catering staff were very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionists were very helpful and helped us order several taxis and printed our boarding passes for us. They also let us leave our luggage with them whilst we went out for the day before our flight.

The shower was blocked so using it flooded the bathroom floor. The smart tv in the room lacked an option to connect it to the WiFi so we were unable to use streaming services. We could only watch live tv on it. When we booked the hotel, nothing was mentioned about the pool being closed in September and we only found this out upon arrival and the pool had been the main reason we’d originally booked this hotel as it isn’t super central.

I recently stayed at Mercure Tirana with my sister, and we had such a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The beds were exceptionally clean and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant—the food was excellent, with a great selection of delicious dishes. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service throughout our stay was top-notch, with the staff always going the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Mercure Tirana to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city. We will definitely be returning!

This recently opened hotel is ideal for business and leisure travellers looking for stylish, high-end accommodation, close to both airport and city centre. From check-in to check-out, it was an excellent experience, particularly from the wonderful staff who are enthusiastic about delivering good customer service. Being new, the key areas are all sparkling clean, and equipped with pleasing furnishings and amenities. Bedrooms are superb, very comfortable large bed, bathroom with excellent rain shower and toiletries, as well as full facilities for business or leisure (desk, lounge chair, large flat-screen tv). Roof top pool is very good, comfortable beds and lounge bar area (fully opening May 2024). Restaurant is tastefully designed and laid out, with high-quality food and beverage served at breakfast and dinner. There is also a nice lounge bar in the hotel foyer, with access to a pleasant outside terrace, where you can enjoy coffee and/or cocktails. I would expect this hotel to deliver an even better customer experience once they are fully operational, particularly as all the staff are so ambitious for guests’ satisfaction. One thing to note, the hotel is located on the main road for the city, within a semi-industrial area, so there’s not much pleasing to look at in the immediate vicinity or sidewalks to use, but taxis are plentiful and efficient (use green taxi app). Also, if you’re a light sleeper, request a room at the rear of the hotel or earplugs, the traffic is noisy and continuous.

Out the rooftop bar wasnt open as we gent sorry for the bar staff having to come up 8 floors with drinks. Location was good for the airport but slightly far out for city centre (had to get a taxi.. too far to walk) But woukd not stop us staying there again

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly; the hotel clean and quiet with a large gym and rooftop pool. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice of fruit, veg, cheeses, meats, hot and cold food.

The only criticism was the location - for us, we like to walk so the 50 minute walk into the centre & the sites of interest was OK. I understand there are buses and taxis are cheap, so its not a problem but a more central location would have been preferable

The hotel is brand new and in good shape. It's has a modern business feel. Bed and shower were very nice. Airconditioning was quiet and effective. Staff was vert friendly and knowledgeable: they recommended a nearby (5 minute walk) shopping center for lunch, which had a lovely outside terrace and was perfect for us. They also recommended a parking garage in the city center that perfectly met our needs. Parking at the hotel is easy and free.

The noise insulation from the window was not good. My room was at the side of the hotel, but I could still quite clearly hear the busy road in front. Normal sleepers should be okay, but light sleepers may have a problem and might better request a room at the backside of the hote.
