Everything is very clean, and hotel staff is very nice. There is a bar, gym, restaurant, rooms are spacious with fridge inside. Food was really good. Buffet type breakfast, Adriana is really on top of things so everything goes smoothly. The hotel's chef will prepare you the best dinner you can have after getting home from your daily trips. There is a roof top swimming pool that should open sometime in may. Casa Italia shopping centre is a 5min walk where you can do food shopping. Hire car company is 10min walk opposite hotel. Vodafone shop is 10min walk to get local sim card. Good location to either get to central Tirana from hotel or to get on the highway to drive up north into the mountains, or down south towards the sea.

Due to being next to a very busy 3x3 lane road we could always hear the roar of the traffic but was never that bad that we couldn't sleep and the fact that how clean everything was, the staff, the food made us forget about this downside anyway.

The staff were great, and there was one that was particularly outstanding (Adriana). The facility was super. It would have been perfect if the swimming pool was available. The food was really nice and considerably cheap compared to other restaurants we visited. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would say 9.5 for me and would visit again. Money well spent.

The pool wasn't working when we got there. However, there was a small print we missed that the pool was seasonal.

Very good breakfast, catering staff were very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionists were very helpful and helped us order several taxis and printed our boarding passes for us. They also let us leave our luggage with them whilst we went out for the day before our flight.

The shower was blocked so using it flooded the bathroom floor. The smart tv in the room lacked an option to connect it to the WiFi so we were unable to use streaming services. We could only watch live tv on it. When we booked the hotel, nothing was mentioned about the pool being closed in September and we only found this out upon arrival and the pool had been the main reason we’d originally booked this hotel as it isn’t super central.

I recently stayed at Mercure Tirana with my sister, and we had such a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The beds were exceptionally clean and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant—the food was excellent, with a great selection of delicious dishes. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service throughout our stay was top-notch, with the staff always going the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Mercure Tirana to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city. We will definitely be returning!

This recently opened hotel is ideal for business and leisure travellers looking for stylish, high-end accommodation, close to both airport and city centre. From check-in to check-out, it was an excellent experience, particularly from the wonderful staff who are enthusiastic about delivering good customer service. Being new, the key areas are all sparkling clean, and equipped with pleasing furnishings and amenities. Bedrooms are superb, very comfortable large bed, bathroom with excellent rain shower and toiletries, as well as full facilities for business or leisure (desk, lounge chair, large flat-screen tv). Roof top pool is very good, comfortable beds and lounge bar area (fully opening May 2024). Restaurant is tastefully designed and laid out, with high-quality food and beverage served at breakfast and dinner. There is also a nice lounge bar in the hotel foyer, with access to a pleasant outside terrace, where you can enjoy coffee and/or cocktails. I would expect this hotel to deliver an even better customer experience once they are fully operational, particularly as all the staff are so ambitious for guests’ satisfaction. One thing to note, the hotel is located on the main road for the city, within a semi-industrial area, so there’s not much pleasing to look at in the immediate vicinity or sidewalks to use, but taxis are plentiful and efficient (use green taxi app). Also, if you’re a light sleeper, request a room at the rear of the hotel or earplugs, the traffic is noisy and continuous.

We had the best stay at the Mercure Tirana, we had to extend it by one more night! The staff and service absolutely made our stay. It was the best service we have had while travelling Europe. Everyone was lovely and attentive, always checking in. They made a wonderful first impression of Albania for us. The rooftop pool is just amazing as well as the rooftop bar. Our room and breakfast were great. The location is just out of the city centre so there’s not much around but a taxi in is only between €5-10 or you can navigate the bus. For us the location wasn’t an issue as we were aware prior to booking and we spent most of the day enjoying the rooftop pool, restaurant/bar and headed into the centre late afternoon. In saying that it’s a 5-10 minute walk to the regional bus station which was perfect for us to get to our next city.

The hotel is brand new and in good shape. It's has a modern business feel. Bed and shower were very nice. Airconditioning was quiet and effective. Staff was vert friendly and knowledgeable: they recommended a nearby (5 minute walk) shopping center for lunch, which had a lovely outside terrace and was perfect for us. They also recommended a parking garage in the city center that perfectly met our needs. Parking at the hotel is easy and free.

The noise insulation from the window was not good. My room was at the side of the hotel, but I could still quite clearly hear the busy road in front. Normal sleepers should be okay, but light sleepers may have a problem and might better request a room at the backside of the hote.

The hotel was easy to find and only about 20 minutes from the airport. It’s also just a few minutes from the centre so it made it easy to move around. The staff were always ready to help anytime. Our rooms were just as seen in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Our rooms were also cleaned everyday. The kitchen staff too were also very lovely. One lady at breakfast stood out especially! She was always so lovely and friendly.

When we stayed, it didn’t seem like the bar and rooftop pool had started functioning properly. The bar especially. Looked like it was still under finishing touches. That was a minus because we were really looking forward to a bit of music and all.

Brand new hotel, room facilities superb, everything one could possibly want, and staff throughout the hotel ,charming and helpful.. Brilliant breakfast included, and super roof -top pool Exceptionally good value., a hotel that offers so much more than expected.. It really is a gem@

Although I hope my comments won't deter potential visitors, it would be dishonest not to mention the location, next to a very busy motorway, where there is traffic noise 24/7.. Earplugs are highly recommended for night-time peace, despite the glorious comfort of the beds! Satellite TV is limited .

The hotel was modern and bathroom nicely updated. The pool bar area, shower and toilet for the rooftop pool are especially nice. Food at lunch and dinner in the restaurant was phenomenal. I’m still dreaming of the chicken soup and the condiments served with the bread. Staff on the whole are really great.

Other than being fairly close to a medical appointment I had, the location is a bit out of the way. I don’t like to name names, but there was one staff member who was so incessantly “helpful” that it became annoying, even asking that a review be left mentioning their name. Unpleasant. Lack of soundproofing between the room and the one next door with connecting door was terrible. When the occupants returned to the room next door, it sounded like they were right inside my room.
