Private room is small and not in good condition The price in pesos uses the dollar blue conversion rate (that's the only place so far I've encountered that). Luggage room isn't locked or guarded. No control over air conditioner - you need to ask the reception to turn it on/off, and it can only work between 22 and 6. That's actually my second time in this hostel. The first time was in dorms, and this time was in a private room. For a private room, that's not a good value.

Don’t bother paying extra for the air conditioner, it’s too much of a head ache trying to get it going. You’d be better off just getting a room with a fan that you can physically control, rather than going up and down the stairs reminding the staff to turn it on. The wifi is awful, keeps cutting out all the time. Good for a night or two but I jumped the gun when I booked 5 nights. Not a bad hostel, just needs a lot more work done.

Staff has not knowledge of the hostel. The responsible people are not in the hostel. They always have to contact them by WhatsApp. I asked them for laundry but after 2 days they said it was washed but it was not. They left my private room opened. Beside my room was a workshop (maintenance room) and they made very loud noise from 10am all day long. It was imposible to have a relax moment in bed.
