Nice location not far from a park and the main street. There are some nice restaurants nearby, a 20 minute walk and you will find lots of options :D The wifi worked well at the property, nice rooms, good vibe

This review is to help foreigners traveling to Argentina, specifically relating to the exchange rate. The property kindly informed me that VISA/ Mastercard rate allows for something similar to Blue dollar rate (this is new as of late 2022, checkout VISA website for more information). Very nice to know, as it has helped us in other hostels since, very convenient. Although the property did charge an additional 5% before swiping the card, different from the amount that day according to the official exchange. Note to guestS: Do your math before swiping cards ;)

Great location, within a walking distance from basically everything you might need as a tourist. The receptionists are wonderful they go an extra mile to help, and generally other hotel residents will be nice, and if you are trying to practice Spanish & learn some Argentine culture, then you're in the right spot. If willing, you can cook as there's a kitchen. I loved that the hotel is kind of classic. The rooms look like antique and to me, that's even the more fun part of it.... I personally wouldn't ask for more and I recommend the hotel.

Frankly at the price and it's great location, I can't complain. It is just a fair deal.

I love the way Juan welcomed me. He was so kind was willing to work with me if I arrived after hours. The cleaning crew are so nice too. I absolutely love the proximity to everything. There is a laundry service within walking distance called TINTORERIA LAVADERO MAROB and the service was great, my clothes where taken care of for only $4900 ($5 or so) and it was like 14 pieces of clothing.

The reason why I gave it a 9 and not a 10 is not because of the Hostel, it’s because the other guest made way too much noise after midnight even until 3-4am. They had a party, loud music etc. it was just rude for the other guest who wanted to take rest. I had a private room next to a busy street too so lots of cars passing by sometimes smelling like diesel or gasoline so I can see some guest not liking that but I didn’t mind it. I did mind the loud parties after hours though.

The guest service was wonderful. Great energy! Location was great and loved having a single room. Loved the option of both fan and ac and window that allowed sufficient air. A bit shabby in appearance in the room but great accommodation none the less. Didn't use the kitchen.

Towels a bit small and rough, but gets the job done and no spot to put shower items in shower. A shelf would've been nice.

Great storage for dorm dwellers, especially if you get a bottom bunk. My bed had a little three drawer side table, a proper combination safe and a shelf, as well as a light, curtain and under bed storage space, and I had an assigned locker in the room as well. Adequate kitchen facilities and great central location.

I didn't get my key deposit back as no one was on reception when I left and they didn't respond to follow up messages. There are a lot of long termers and the kitchen is quite crowded with their stuff.

Very good location in the centre. Many restaurants and shops just on the street. There is kitchen and refrigerator so you can prepare own food. Everything close to the place. Very nice personnel. We could leave our luggage for couple days. We also could check in in the middle of the night because of flights schedule.

AC very noisy in the night.

A brilliant little hotel run by lovely people who were super helpful. We stayed in a private room, it had air con, the beds were comfy and the WiFi is strong. There is also a fridge to store things which is extremely helpful.

Wasn’t the most social- everyone was lovely just we didn’t see many other travelers

Location is great, place itself is big. Room was fine, bathroom would need a bit of a refurb but it was ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

Need more privacy on the curtains on the room and bathroom. The shower is in an alcove and the curtain doesn't clip onto the alcove, so curtain doesn't fully close. No chair to sit down at the table.

A wonderful base to explore Buenos Aires! I was not in the hostel much, but liked the room, the beds were comfortable and had the privacy of a curtain. Big common area, friendly staff and clean bathrooms.

The kitchen was a little small and busy so didn’t use it much, and it’s a little quiet if you are looking for a very social hostel.
