What a GEM! This once private home (still family owned) was converted into a small, boutique hotel in a great spot in Palermo Soho. Rooms have charm, while bathrooms are nicely updated. Our room was a much welcomed bit of luxury after 3 weeks of travel and "not quite as pictured" lodging. Good linens, towel service daily. Ask for the room with the jetted tub on private deck...and enjoy a glass of wine while marveling at ivy covered buildings and rooftops. Breakfast was a nice surprise, cooked to order (not buffet), served either inside or outside on an enclosed patio. Can't say enough, other than we'll be back!

The desk staff are very nice and friendly, but would make even more impact were they a bit more "Concierge" like. For example, we arrived on a weekend with the artisan markets, but late in the day so were feeling rushed. We told the desk we were going to the only market we were aware of - a 30 minute drive across town - but when we returned, we discovered that a very lively artisan market with even better wares and vibe was happening two blocks from the hotel in Palermo Soho - we needn't have rushed, and could have enjoyed getting to know the neighborhood in a far less rushed manner, if only this kind of information had been shared by a knowledgeable desk associate.

The hotel is very small and intimate. The staff know who you are and address you by name. The morning breakfast was delicious. The hotel is spotless but the room is small but we knew that going in. It had a very tiny balcony that overlooked the courtyard. It's in the lovely neighborhood of Palermo and it walkable to restaurants, bars, the metro lores. It's walkable to a lot of restaurants. It a beautiful little hotel and a lovely breakfast. It had very authentic furniture and lovely sitting areas throughout the property. It was safe and well cared for.

We had to turn in our key every time we left the hotel. Although it was staffed 24/7, that still felt a little weird that they knew when we were coming and going.

Absolutely amazing place - very nice rooms that have everything needed, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast served with fresh orange juice, great location with close proximity to restaurants and bars, nice wines with a complementary glass of wine upon arrival. We stayed here two nights (wish we could stay longer) and loved everything! We are especially grateful to the staff, who already several weeks after we left the hotel helped me to return back my sunglasses that I forgot in Mendoza. They spent a lot of time on it although we were not their guest anymore and I appreciate it a lot. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything was great

The location of the hotel was wonderful in the trendy area of Palermo, and within walking distance of some great restaurants. Felt very safe there. The staff are all very nice, speak great English, and the wine tasting experience is well worth doing. The breakfast had a good choice and was nicely presented.

We felt that the bathrooms were a bit dated, and the rooms (we stayed on 2 separate occasions) were very cramped, especially when travelling with large suitcases for an Antarctic expedition. When we stayed in room #6 we were excited to find we had a lovely large balcony, so we felt we had more breathing room, but sadly, we couldn't use that due to a plague of mosquitoes hitting the city in early January, so we could get no fresh air. There was a hot tub on the deck but that didn't look like it was in use. The room also lacked coffee pods, laundry bags for the service, and shower gel, but the staff fixed all of the above within a few hours.

We did not know at booking that the room was a loft situation. My husband is older and it is not easy for him to go downstairs to use the bathroom during the night. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this set up but I was told there were no other rooms available. Due to heavy rain, there was a leak in the shower which caused pieces of the ceiling to fall off in the shower for several days. I think we should have been given the opportunity to change rooms or have been compensated in some way.

It is a very small hotel so relative to other similar hotels no issues. We had the 3rd Floor Room 7 Maisonette which is a charming two level room with a balcony - it was great but a lot of stairs from floor 2 to the top floor of room FYI. Elevator ground level to floor 2.

The staff was exceptional - incredibly kind, warm, and helpful every step of the way. When the plug for my jacuzzi was missing, the woman at the front desk went out and bought a new one. She didn't have to do that - and I've stayed in places that haven't done that kind of thing. But she was so nice about it and even asked the next day how the jacuzzi was. Really caring staff.

My only complaint was the amount of wine you receive when you order a glass. It was measured with a machine, but even the biggest glass was a bit on the small side to me. Next time, I'll just buy a bottle! 😄

Great location, easy to walk to fabulous restaurants. Great croissants for breakfast.

The place's management decided to charge my credit card in USD before arrival contrary to what Booking.com stated on my reservation. They also stated that they did not take the local 21% tax but the reservation price that was included (this is refunded to overseas travellers like us. Finally when I complained to the in charge person she told me that they would refund my credit card (if I wanted) but will charge in ARS but using the BLUE dollar exchange rate (which is not legal and almost 50% higher than the official rate. I decided not to change anything but want to let other travellers know this is not right. Happy to talk to Booking.com and provide more details if required.

I always seek small upscale boutique hotels usually in a historic building in a great location to get to neighbourhood restaurants etc & the Miravida SoHo Hotel was a perfect fit. The staff was very welcoming & very accommodating. Our room was a very good size with an upper level terrace off it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff friendliness….If you have to go to Recoleta for all the architectural sites of BA, it’s no big deal. Take Uber. It’s fine as long as you plan your visits. Takes around 20-30 minutes from Palermo.

When they have wine tasting it can get loud if you have room w balcony overlooking courtyard. Lasts from around 6 pm to 8 pm. Happened to us the 1st day. Next 2 days were fine.
