The staff and the guests were very nice. Everytime when I came to the courtyard there was someone to talk and the receptionist helped me to install my SIM card and also helped me to find a place in the Play Soho Partner Hostel when I wanted to extend my stay because Play Arcos was full in the upcoming days.

Courtyard and terrace close during the night so you need to sit in front of the hostel if you want to smoke or just like to stay outside to drink a beer (it's also a closed and secure area but not that cozy like in the courtyard) The reason is to avoid noise close to the bedrooms so I can understand that.

Great place to stay, they deliver what they promise. Good location, streets you can walk on at any time of the day. Upon arrival, you walk into a reception area filled with warm, smiling people and the smell of fresh coffee, offered in the lounge area equipped with comfy couches, seats, and tables. You can also relax there if you arrive before check-in time. The hostel is located in what must have been a gorgeous building in its heyday, with long white marble stairs leading to a comfy coworking area with a good internet connection. The network name and password are displayed at every corner of the hostel, including the kitchen and other common areas. It's luminous, with an internal patio and a terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped. They also manage a WhatsApp group to coordinate extra activities, ranging from dancing tango to watching a movie or playing board games. The staff is proficient in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I heard French as well, and some other language. There's no way staying at this place can go wrong. I stayed in a shared female room for 4 occupants. The room had 1 bathroom, a set of lockers, a small table, a couple of chairs placed by the window and in front of a large mirror. The only minor inconvenience I had was with the electric plugs. When I arrived, I had a meeting in the kitchen, which was the first place I found a 3-prong plug to hook up my laptop lol. Later, I found a couple more in the coworking area, but not in the bedroom. I'm definitely coming back next time I visit Buenos Aires. Thank you Fede and the rest of team :D

Everything about the hostel was great. They are a chain so have play hostel arcos, garden, and Soho. They have a terrace which was super nice, so many places to chill and socialize. Outside garden. Many bathrooms that are clean. I had a private bathroom in my 4 bed shared room. Kitchen has everything you need to make stay at home meals. Hostel has daily night activities so you never get bored. Great place to meet other travelers as well because they have activities for all 3 hostels in the Whatsapp group. The location is best near Palermo.

Have to wait till 2pm before they let me check in. Usually always booked so hard to find a stay here.

It has a good location in the heart of Palermo.

Not their fault necessarily…but I wish they had an official quiet time. Both nights I slept there I had to politely get people to quiet down around midnight as they were talking loudly outside my room which had thin walls. I’m old and lame I know haha

I stayed here for 2 weeks - perfect location in Palermo, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, 15 min walk to Plaza Serrano. Staff are awesome, particularly Alejandro and Connie. Dorm rooms are spacious, decent beds

Shower in the dorm is cramped and doesn't feel super clean. Not the most social hostel, but I still met some great people, and they still organise activities with the other Play hostel in Palermo

Double room w shared bathroom: it was good, online pics are less attractive than reality. It was an OK room, beds are not 10/10 comfy but lets say 7/10. More energy plugs are needed. AC worked well. Shared bathroom was good. Location is superb.

Staff could be better, they never answered emails and questions through booking. More energy plugs would be beneficial. They also forgot to put towels in my room. Is OK.

lots of bathrooms. Beautiful terrace. Staff was very gentle, they treated me very well and offered me help. The kitchen is very complete. They have a nice patio also with an hamaca paraguaya. Great location!

The internet wi-fi service was not the best, it didnt reach every corner of the hostel and had poor signal. They should really try to improve this. I had to go to some precise spots to be able to have full wifi.

A great budget hostel in an excellent location. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Cony who ran the activities at night which were always fun and brought everyone together. Everyone was so friendly which is a testament to the culture that this hostel has fostered. Make sure you attend the beer pong tournament night !

I stayed in a private room, it had an excellent AC unit and was overall very comfortable. You can meet tons of friendly travelers just hanging out in the courtyard and having a coffee or a smoke. The location (Palermo Soho) is probably the most desirable neighborhood in CABA to stay as a foreigner, with trendy restaurants, artisan street markets and the botanic garden in walking distance, and tons of popular bars and nightclubs. After 11pm or so, the common areas close, and it's very quiet. Palermo is a party town, but this isn't really a party hostel.

This place is a good value, but bear in mind, the price you see on the booking in your country's currency is the price you'll pay. There may be a small discount if you bring cash but don't expect to take advantage of the exchange rates here. It makes perfect sense for them to operate this way; take it or leave it. You can find better deals, but probably not in Palermo. Bathroom amenities weren't glamorous, but you'll be fine, just wear your flip flops and figure it out.

Great location and super friendly staff. I had three really good nights of sleep here and it was very budget friendly.

Our shower was a little small, hard to move much in there but not a big issue. Pillows could do with refreshing, very bumpy. For the price though our stay was great.
