The room was very comfortable for two friends traveling together. We each had our own nightstand and there were two luggage racks. Most hotels don’t offer that. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave great advice about which hikes to do when, which really made a difference to our short trip. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, so after the long Laguna Torre trek we were able to eat there which was very convenient … and the food was good.

Loved everything!

Very convenient location in town. Excellent staff. We couldn’t say enough nice things about them. A special shout out to Mateo and Valeriya. Our room was very large and comfortable, although furnishings were basic. A very comfortable common area in the lobby. we would highly recommend to anyone traveling to El Chalten.

Cleanliness was less than desirable. A deep clean is very necessary. The shower in particular had accumulated a layer of scum on the walls.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we returned from the ice cap expedition to collect luggage, Roxanne found a room for us to shower in at short notice even though we weren't staying there that night. She was very interested in the trip and always helpful. When my daughter was unwell the dining room staff made her a simple meal of vegetable soup and bread in advance of the restaurant opening time. The relaxing reception area was also a real bonus and the hotel was in a quiet but central location. We loved it and would thoroughly recommend staying there.

Liked everything.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They speak good English so I didn’t have any issue communication with them (I am a non-Spanish speaker). Location is decent. There’s a supermarket close to the hotel so it was easy for me to get some necessities.

Breakfast choices were limited but generally acceptable. WiFi is almost non-existent but I think that’s more of an issue of El Chalten rather than hotel-specific.

The front desk staff was outstandingly helpful. They gave us a valuable advice for a short first-day hike (in the rain and fog), helped us with our next reservation, and in general were extremely nice and friendly. We came back after a challenging hike in the mountain to our spacious, warm and comfortable room, it was great.

The restaurant was less than great.

Friendly staff, nice bar, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, good hot shower with water pressure!

The only thing that was lacking was breakfast. It was disappointing. Especially considering many people are hiking early in the morning, a better breakfast would go a long way! The eggs were runny and the selection was just lacking.

Really friendly helpful staff. We had lots of laughs with them, practising our Spanish. Comfortable bed; nice bar area.

Breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment. Not particularly healthy cereals and little choice of cooked breakfast to set you up for a good hike.

We really liked Lunajuim. It's a short walk from the bus station and close to the town and to all the main hiking points. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. Breakfast was great, rooms were comfortable. The packed lunch option is very useful for hike days. And we especially liked the bar area where we could order tea and cake.

Dodgy wifi but that's the case everywhere in El Chalten! You don't go there for the internet!

Staff are friendly, nice. The hotel is near Main Street, you can find stores and restaurants easily. Room is clean, and good hot shower, it is so important when u finished the hiking. They provide breakfast, so you can have food before hiking. They also provide lunch box and laundry service, wonderful.
