Very nice hotel at a good location (middle of the small village). At arrival, we got a full explanation about the trails in El Chalten, which was very useful! The staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we found other places in town more appealing. The trails are easy to reach from the hotel.

The breakfast is following the same formula as all other hotels in Argentina. Some white bread, basic cheese and ham, lots of sweet (but dry) cakes, standard scrambled eggs that look exactly the same in all hotels (seems to come from a ready-to-go package?), some fruit, yoghurt etc. Very basic. Like other hotels in Patagonia, the balance quality/quantity was wrong, its too expensive for what you get. But I guess that is part of going to Patagonia.

The location is great. The room is big (as long as you get a double room with only one bed)

* If you stay on the ground floor, the whole street will see you. You close the curtain - you'll be in darkness. We got a room down but then could get the next day a room on the 1st floor, which was much better - but had another bed in it - which made the room feel very small. * The breakfast is a joke - ten kinds of cake, but nothing fresh. No vegetables, no fresh juice, just one type of a toast (no fresh breadf), no fruits. And everything is of the cheapest quality. * The WiFi is so slow... that's it's just unusable. * The atmosphere is of a group hotel for Americans.

Homely and comfortable hotel, located within 10 mins walk of El Chalten bus station Spacious rooms, balconies have views of the snow capped mountains Adequate breakfast with delicious home baked cakes. Dinner was tasty and good value for money. Packed lunch especially handy for hiking. 20 mins walk from the start of the hiking trails to Fitz Roy. The team are the real stand out at this hotel, always happy to help - special shout out to Josefina/Reception and Macarena/restaurant. The accommodation is not cheap, but well worth it if you’re hiking nearby and want a nice place to return to and relax in.

A spa or sauna would be an ideal addition to relax in, but this is just a personal preference

The hotel is very centrally located with access to shops, eateries and the walking routes to the Fitzroy mountains making a car unnecessary. The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming making our stay extra special. The restaurant was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the typical Argentinian quisine. Breakfast was excellent with an wide range of hot and cold food available. Our room was very clean and comfortable and offered excellent views of the Fitzroy mountain from our balcony. We would certainly recommend the El Chalten suites to anyone visiting this wonderful area.

There was no designated car park but we were able to park alongside the hotel with no trouble.

- Great staff. Everybody was super helpful - Very good location at the main road. Many bars and restaurants close by - Superb view from the balcony. You can see the top of Fitz Roy (if it is not cloudy) - walls are not paper-thin as I have experienced in many other places in Argentina - Bed was very comfortable (especially after a long day of trekking)

- Breakfast had some options but during rush hours they could hardly keep up. - A trashcan in the room would be nice. When you always bring your trash back from the trail it would be great to get rid of it in the room.

Location is excellent, with a view of fitz roy right from the window room. Right in the main street, close walk to the bus station. Shower was very good, which helped a lot to relieve all the tiredness after a full day of tracking. Staff was super helpful in attending our requests , providing information about trails and tours and booking transfers for them as well

It's great they offer box lunch as a option if you plan to leave earlier for a full day activity, but the sandwiches could be better. Other than that everything else during our stay was exceptional.

I loved my room with a view of Mt Fitzroy and the fact that the window opened which kept the room fresh from over heating

The breakfast was not up to standard for a boutique hotel. Travellers now require more healthy unsweetened options and a range of protein options, in particular eggs.

Chaltén Suites Hotel is centrally located in El chalten. It offers 2 restaurants and accommodation. Other restaurants, shops and SPA as well as trail heads are minutes away. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner restaurant was very good.

The only area of improvement would be the variety of the breakfast. We stayed there for 3 nights and breakfast was always the same.

All the staff were very friendly and there was a person on site who was very helpful in organising transport to the trail heads. The packed lunches were very good and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also really good with lots of choice. The views from the hotel are amazing.

Given the size of the bathroom it could easily have fitted a bath, which would have been appreciated after a full day hiking.

We had a very nice luxurious stay in this hotel. Price was reasonable. We enjoyed the drinks and snacks provided. There always seemed to be someone on staff at the front desk. The breakfast was an excellent European style spread with plenty of options. Location is good and near the bus stop on the far end of town.

We had some noisy neighbors but obviously this is not the hotel’s fault.
