the size of the room was great, really big, great view over the pool and the valley in the back. helpful receptionists. quite nice breakfast (fruit, cereal, croissants). amazing location, very close to the bus station and all the restaurants and cafes, as well as close to the river from where there was an amazing sunset view.

it could have been a bit cleaner, the building was not in a fantastic state. the wifi was not as strong everywhere.

Location is great, next to shopping street and all the restaurants. Big spacious rooms. Pool was nice. Breakfast was okay.

We had two rooms and the main room’s AC was a little bit too loud, but we used the other room’s AC and it was cooling the whole place. The pool’s water was a little bit cloudy, but we still enjoyed it.

Nice place at the end of the downtown strip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and looked like the photos.

There were some mesquites in the room, but they are everywhere outside as well!

Location is very good as it is very close to the bus stop and av. brasil is a very lovely lively street.

The kitchen had many cupboards and a sink with nothing else (no utensils, not even a cup to drink water). What is the point of all the cupboards ?? Only had 2 hangers in a wall of wardrobes. The level of cleanliness was lacking to say the least. The breakfast is exactly the same every day... and the variety is non existent. Pillows were just lumps, no longer a solid piece (they really need to be replaced).

Claudio, the manager, was friendly and helpful and he went out of his way to make sure we could have breakfast before it was due to start so that we could join our tour on time. The breakfast was good and sufficient.

Despite the promise of the photo and statements on the Booking.com website, the facilities and room at El Tata Apart Hotel bore little relationship to what was promised. The issues that need addressing are: - Many cupboards and drawers throughout the apartment were missing handles, broken or did not close - The plumbing was appalling: in the kitchen only one tap turned on and it provided only cold water; in the bathroom only cold water was available in the sink and the tap was very hard to turn on and off; in the shower you needed to screw out a broken tap fitting to produce a small amount of lukewarm water which turned into a dribble if you kept going in an attempt to produce hot water - The kitchen has a toaster but contains no crockery, cutlery, plates or pans. It has a bar fridge, not a 'minibar' as stated - Although this was advertised as a 'family' apartment' with a 'seating area', the only seating was in the kitchen - two chairs at a very small table covered with a torn tablecloth - The sum total of toiletries provided consisted of one watered down bottle of handwash soap on the bathroom sink and one roll of toilet paper (for three days). Instructions in the bathroom indicated that toilet paper should not be put in the toilet but in the bin in the bathroom - The 'linen' provided were two nylon sheets and a blanket that covered the old double bed, and the two bath towels provided were synthetic. No handtowels or any other linen was provided. - Apart from a narrow shaving cabinet in the bathroom there were no shelves on which to put anything in the bathroom, and the small mirror on the front of the shaving cabinet was the only mirror in the apartment - We climbed 30 steep stairs to get to the apartment, so this is not suitable accommodation for anyone with heavy bags or mobility issues

it is difficult to find it! when you walk from the bus station you can easily get lost, very poor conditions !!! On the internet it was written the staff spoke 3 languages including English. The man that spoke English was not available, the ladies couldn't utter a word, only Spanish so it was difficult to communicate and took a long time to check in. There is nothing that I liked in this place. At night there were 3 men standing outside for like 40 minutes and shouting so they woke me up. No one told them anything. Only the lady that was preparing the breakfast was ok, she was nice to me !

This is not a hotel, this is a hostel, first of all. 46 dollars per night with a horrible breakfast, there was almost nothing to eat, not even butter for bread, some croissaints, poor quality cheese, ham, milk with cereals, juices that are a joke- the lady was putting some powder into water and this was orange juice. For this price in other hotels you have full breakfast. No cosmetics in the bathroom apart from hand soap, shower barely working. The bedding was a disaster! all the beds except one had poliester covers. I wanted to sleep on the double bed, which had poliester linen so i had to take the cotton one from the bed in the other room. No kettle inside, the personnel did not want to give me any tea or even hot water but after 1 hour of arguing finally i received the things. The price for this should not be more than 20 euros per night.
