Hotel Saint George is a nice place to stay. The room was comfortable and big. There were two beds in the room. Plenty of space to lay things down. The AC is cold and the shower is hot. There is a refrigerator for water and such. The hotel is centrally located on a touristic street with many restaurants and shops. The area is safe. They have a secure private parking lot to park your rental car. The breakfast is a buffet and is very nice. Many selections. The front desk is well staffed and very helpful. They helped my wife and myself arrange a tour of the falls on the Brazilian side by taxi. Nice place to stay.

The hotel is nice - physically we were impressed as the lobby and amenities spaces were well designed large and seems new and modern. The rooms were large and well appointed with good bathrooms, etc - very clean and comfortable beds, also the breakfast was very good, etc. the location is perfect with nice Resturant’s just walking distance . All in all this is a good choice to base yourself for a day or two for the falls. The staff was pleasant.

Check in was not until 4pm and check out was 10am - never heard of that anywhere before. Also the next two items are not likely the hotels fault - the first is more of a government issue - but we didn’t like that they had to run our credit card three times - once to pay the room - then to reserve for incidentals - and the third time was for a government tax - and my credit card company thought there was a security issue running it three times so quickly - and all this made check in stretch longer than it needed to - Also there was some noisy guests and we were close to the stairs and walk up from 1st floor - so the wife woke up during the night - but again likely not the hotel fault

Location of the hotel is just opposite the main bus terminal. Made it very easy to catch buses to both Argentinian and Brazilian side of the waterfalls. Lots of restaurants around the hotel as well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices, especially in sweets. On site restaurant was fantastic. 20% discount to guests made it also very good value for money. Lots of other restaurants around the hotel as well.

It seems that there was some renovation going on on upper floors of the hotel. Not sure if it was related or not, but there were frequent power outages, which meant that the lifts were not working probably half the time that we were there. Again, probably related to that, WIFI was not working one full day - it only became available after 10:30 pm that day. Even when it was working - it was always a bit flaky

The pool is lovely, although since the website said it would be closed, I did not bring my suit. Room was large and comfortable. Excellent location right across from the bus station so super easy to catch bus to Iguazu Falls. If you speak no Spanish, pay special attention to which side of the falls the bus is going or you may end up visiting Brazil unintentionally! Nice breakfast.

Communication prior to arrival was rather brusque and while staff was a bit less reserved in person, I wouldn't call them friendly. Bedside lights in my room did not work. There really isn't a bar here- more like a corner of the lobby that has a guy making a drink or 2.

Location: it was very loud during our stay, busses running idle under our window, street cleaners early mornings made it hard to sleep Room: the furniture and appliances have a lot of km on them. Sturdy but definitely well used. Bathtub with yellow marks Breakfast: the ambience reminds me of a company mensa of the 50s. There is a lot of potential with a good interior designer as the structure is solid with lovely wood structures.

This hotel was perfect for our stay, right opposite the central station so easy access to both sides of the falls via bus, and easy to walk into town. Our room was huge, good range of food at breakfast and air conditioned restaurant on site with 20% off which was great. The main bonus was the pool area though! Beautiful and well thought out, with plenty of beds and a nice snack bar. Great place to relax after a day walking around the waterfalls. We arrived early and were able to use the pool as we waited for our room which we appreciated. Shout out to Erica at reception who was super lovely!

This is the hotel that can be considered a real one after so many so called traditional, quaint or similar places that abound in the area. It has dominant, central location close to the bus station and to all interesting areas of Puerto Iguazú town. It is a real value and cannot be surpassed by any other accommodation in the province. It has professional and helpful staff and a guests can enjoy nice green area with a pool after their exploration of amazing, world class attractions. It has also adapted to the needs of those guests who plan early departures by starting the breakfast early in the morning. I can just say that this property has its high value.

There were, unfortunately, some drawbacks. The first one was a bathroom with cheap and useless fixed wall shower that does not allow proper body showering. The other one was the location of our room. I have specifically asked, months ahead of our stay, for a quiet room and the room was all, but not quiet. Instead of the quiet room, right in front of our room there was some kind of a tower hoist used by building workers to bring their equipment to the upper floors. All in all, I would still recommend the property for any future visitor of Puerto Iguazú town.

The Double Room and Bathroom are quite larger than usual, Bright and tidy. Tasty and varied breakfast. Several minutes walk to Puerto Iguazu Bus Station and some internet-famous restaurants, e,g "A Piacere", "Aqua Restaurante" (need waiting for the seat, a little bit expensive & "Forced"10% tips, however, delicious. I hate and like it! ). Tips, Since Nov, 2022, Foreign tourists who use non-Argentine issued credit and debit cards will be charged with a financial exchange rate known in Spanish as the ‘Dólar MEP’ (Mercado Electrónico de Pagos) in Argentina. E.g, priced at about 356 pesos per dollar on 1st Mar, according to website Rava. That’s much higher than the official rate of 202 pesos per dollar, also exempt for 21% VAT. Above Not applied to Foreigner paying cash! I saw a foreign lady use credit card to buy a pack of cigarettes. The grocer rolled her eyes at her. haha.. Don't overdo it. Above rule might have been changed if you read this message after long time. Check again.

1/No night lamp in the room. 2/No free Bottled Water. 3/ Only two little bags of coffee/tea on the table are free. The hotel is too stingy comparing with the room price.

We had a problem with the air condition that wasn’t working in the first room and they were nice to give us an upgraded room in the new building. ATTENTION my review is for the second only room, because the first room was in the old building and wasn’t really good, was quite oldish actually. So for the second room that we had it was very spacious, super new, very clean. We were completely late for our checkout but were very kind as well. Swimming pool amazingly beautiful

Just ask if you are in the new or old building. Because the new building is a 4 star hotel but the old one not even 3.

Location was great. Pool was really nice and breakfast was very filling with lots of options. Rooms were clean and lobby was very nicely maintained. Ability to book taxis made it easy to get around.

Beds were not very comfortable and rooms are not very soundproof. Wooden doors that slam and are very loud. We could hear people in the hall and in the neighboring rooms . Traffic was loud. When asking for directions to a money exchange, proper directions were not given even after asking twice. Spa did not open until 1pm, would have liked to book for am.
