Very modern hotel with friendly staff. We had a lot of questions and they answered all of them throughout our stay. The staff also helped us to organise taxis and tickets to the falls.

It’s a busy, noisy town and that noise is audible at night. Not the hotel’s fault! But perhaps request a room at the back if you’re sensitive to noise at night.

Hotel Saint George is a nice place to stay. The room was comfortable and big. There were two beds in the room. Plenty of space to lay things down. The AC is cold and the shower is hot. There is a refrigerator for water and such. The hotel is centrally located on a touristic street with many restaurants and shops. The area is safe. They have a secure private parking lot to park your rental car. The breakfast is a buffet and is very nice. Many selections. The front desk is well staffed and very helpful. They helped my wife and myself arrange a tour of the falls on the Brazilian side by taxi. Nice place to stay.

The variety of the breakfast was great. At first, we were given an old room, but there was a cleaning issue, therefore we requested a different one. The staff responded promptly and provided us with a newly renovated room, which was very modern and comfortable. The pool area is wonderful. The hotel is in a safe area and very close to the bus terminal, which is perfect if you want to take the bus to the waterfalls (both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides). There's also a taxi stand just across the street from the hotel.

The room was quite noisy with sounds coming from neighboring rooms and outside.

Excellent location just across the bus terminal. There is a slight uphill going to the hotel which was challenging if you’re coming from the bus stop. The hotel itself is clean, sleek - excellent staff, large outdoor pool ( kids section) plus jacuzzi. There is a bar by the pool. Breakfast is a good spread of bread, pastries, fruits, cold cuts and hot items like hard boiled and scrambled eggs, canned sausages. There’s 2 coffee machines. The hotel has a gym and spa. Spa has an excellent service called Belleza guarani ( yerba mate body scrub) and excellent staff Sabrina and masseuse ( Nancy, Romina). Bedroom is big compared to many hotels we’ve been to. The bed is truly king size and is comfortable. Pillows are not ( room for improvement)!!!! Overall a wonderful oasis to stay when visiting Iguazu. Definitely family friendly and a great choice for STAYCATION!

The uphill

The hotel is nice - physically we were impressed as the lobby and amenities spaces were well designed large and seems new and modern. The rooms were large and well appointed with good bathrooms, etc - very clean and comfortable beds, also the breakfast was very good, etc. the location is perfect with nice Resturant’s just walking distance . All in all this is a good choice to base yourself for a day or two for the falls. The staff was pleasant.

Check in was not until 4pm and check out was 10am - never heard of that anywhere before. Also the next two items are not likely the hotels fault - the first is more of a government issue - but we didn’t like that they had to run our credit card three times - once to pay the room - then to reserve for incidentals - and the third time was for a government tax - and my credit card company thought there was a security issue running it three times so quickly - and all this made check in stretch longer than it needed to - Also there was some noisy guests and we were close to the stairs and walk up from 1st floor - so the wife woke up during the night - but again likely not the hotel fault

The pool is lovely, although since the website said it would be closed, I did not bring my suit. Room was large and comfortable. Excellent location right across from the bus station so super easy to catch bus to Iguazu Falls. If you speak no Spanish, pay special attention to which side of the falls the bus is going or you may end up visiting Brazil unintentionally! Nice breakfast.

Communication prior to arrival was rather brusque and while staff was a bit less reserved in person, I wouldn't call them friendly. Bedside lights in my room did not work. There really isn't a bar here- more like a corner of the lobby that has a guy making a drink or 2.

Location of the hotel is just opposite the main bus terminal. Made it very easy to catch buses to both Argentinian and Brazilian side of the waterfalls. Lots of restaurants around the hotel as well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices, especially in sweets. On site restaurant was fantastic. 20% discount to guests made it also very good value for money. Lots of other restaurants around the hotel as well.

It seems that there was some renovation going on on upper floors of the hotel. Not sure if it was related or not, but there were frequent power outages, which meant that the lifts were not working probably half the time that we were there. Again, probably related to that, WIFI was not working one full day - it only became available after 10:30 pm that day. Even when it was working - it was always a bit flaky

Location: good as it allows to move independently via the public bus exchange close by. Room: spacious, good bed, everything works Breakfast: everything needed is there Overall: everything comes across as clean

Location: it was very loud during our stay, busses running idle under our window, street cleaners early mornings made it hard to sleep Room: the furniture and appliances have a lot of km on them. Sturdy but definitely well used. Bathtub with yellow marks Breakfast: the ambience reminds me of a company mensa of the 50s. There is a lot of potential with a good interior designer as the structure is solid with lovely wood structures.

This hotel was perfect for our stay, right opposite the central station so easy access to both sides of the falls via bus, and easy to walk into town. Our room was huge, good range of food at breakfast and air conditioned restaurant on site with 20% off which was great. The main bonus was the pool area though! Beautiful and well thought out, with plenty of beds and a nice snack bar. Great place to relax after a day walking around the waterfalls. We arrived early and were able to use the pool as we waited for our room which we appreciated. Shout out to Erica at reception who was super lovely!

The breakfast is good with a lot of variety. The hotel is close to restaurants. The staff at the reception are very attentive to our needs. I was assigned a room, and it was fine up until around 9 pm when the guests at our adjacent room started talking loudly that I had to complain to the reception. The gentleman during that night shift didn't question us at all and give us an upgrade to another room immediately. Thanks for the arrangement and in the new upgraded room, it was so quiet and we all had a good sleep.
