The location of the hotel is superb, right in town, near the main sights, bus stop and lake. The view from the dining room is magic! The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very noisy on the first night and we had a bad sleep. The second evening was a Saturday night and as there were many young people already partying in the streets (!) I decided we should try and change rooms. At 10pm the man from reception (I didnt catch his name, sadly!) went out of his way to find a solution and gave us a triple room on a higher floor facing the courtyard! It was quiet and we had two restful nights here. For this I can recommend this hotel, alone for the service. To be honest, I have stayed in countless hotels in Europe where this kind of complaint or request to change rooms is dismissed with an almighty sneer and shoulder shrug as if to say: 'its not my problem, go home, if you want to sleep!' I am overall impressed with the Argentine hospitality not only here but everywhere we stayed. The room is simple, clean and comfortable.

As I mentioned, it can be loud at night but if you pay more, you could probably get a room facing the lake. The hotel should rethink its breakfast options. The buffet is extensive but many guests who come to Bariloche also like some 'healthier options'. Not everyone likes to eat cake, pastry, white bread and very sweet breakfast cereals. Especially since the main activity here is to hike and you need to eat a little bit better before this. So a small suggestion: some simple oats to make porridge or some unsweetened muesli and unsweetened multigrain bread. I am not a fussy eater but even I craved these items after eating cake two days long!

Perfect location right next to the main square and main street, overlooking the lake. The hotel has parking available for $10 per night. The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing (eggs, breads, ham, cheese, jam, yoghurt, fruit salad, juices, coffee, wide selection of teas). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Reasonable price.

The rooms could use an update, as they are quite oldschool, and also some extra furniture in the room and bathroom to put stuff. However, overall the value for price was good, knowing how overpriced Bariloche is.

Loved the location and nice view from our room and dining area. The Lakeview rooms were small, but pleasant.

Lots of traffic noise at night, and a nightclub next-door that went on until well past 6 AM. Those things are mostly out of the control of the hotel but what they can improve is the poor offerings for the breakfast buffet. The choices were very meager. There were a few broken, hard-boiled eggs that ran out before we could get one. The bread was subpar. No love went into this breakfast.

Everything was fantastic. The staff was incredibly attentive and eager to accommodate our requests, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Special mention to Juan at the reception, who was outstanding. The team serving breakfast was warm and friendly, creating a great start to each morning. Plus, the location couldn't have been better!

Absolutely nothing – everything was perfect!

A bit old-fashioned outside, but well kept and functional inside. In line with what we expected. Very close to the city centre.

Make yourself a favour: ask for a room NOT facing the street. There is a liquor shop just opposite, it was all night people screaming and laughing and passing by with cars with music at full volume. Also we asked to have a packet breakfast as we had an early flight, but it was not possible (nor did they deduct it somehow from the fee)

The welcome - from the moment we were welcomed on the sidewalk by Cesar, we knew we were in our sort of hotel: classic, well mannered, relaxed, clean and safe. Cleanliness - everything was impeccably clean. Comfort - the most comfortable bed in the world after our own at home. The reception area has deep seated sofas and armchairs. The staff - very attentive and charming. This place is not for party people, which may explain some of the negative reviews about how the staff respond. Room safe - big enough for passports etc but not a laptop. The wifi - is fast enough at 60Mb/sec, and there's 5G cellphone reception. Check-out - you can leave your luggage safely with reception until you need to pick it up. Location - the hotel is situated right in the centre of town, a stone’s throw from all the shops and restaurants, and the lake front. We were sorry to leave.

Breakfast is fairly unimaginative given the wider choice found in other hotels. We needed to slam the room's door in order to close it - apologies to the other guests - and other rooms had the same problem. A bigger room safe to accommodate a laptop would have been appreciated.

Great location close to everything. The room was small but was clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay.

There was no fan or AC but the heat is strong. The room had windows that open to a central courtyard. It was a little noisy because we had to keep the windows open to stay comfortable (November) and the staff was moving about at 7:00 am.

Location of the place is fantastic, very close to the main square and the main street. Very friendly staff and the view from the breakfast place is very beautiful. The hotel has great value for money.

The hotel is in a great location and all of the staff a very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large lawned area in front which ensure the lake view rooms and the restaurant have a great unobstructed view of the lake.

Breakfast is a very limited cold buffet and sadly the hotel is now showing signs of its age.

Convenient location and a clean and comfortable room. Breakfast overlooking the mountains and water was a bonus!

We had a little trouble at check-in, but it worked out. The EcoTaxa was also confusing - I didn't know about it and it wasn't incorporated in the hotel fee, but we were able to scan a QR code and pay it during checkout.
