it’s about a 20 minute walk to the city center where the touristy shopping & activities are, but Uber is easy. Also I hope they will consider switching the glass cups in the bathroom to plastic cups in case a person accidentally knocks one on the floor. bare feet & glass shards are a bad combination.

The place was very conftable.

I would like to have the lobby living room open to have space to rest after skiing.

The staff were very helpful the location to the glacier was good clean rooms internet tucked though everywhere it seemed to go down every night

Nice views over the town. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Best bed so far!

Location gives spectacular views of the city and harbor. Hotel is tastefully decorated, neat grounds. Glacier trail is beside the property. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Bathroom is complete with a bidet. Dinner in the restaurant is good, generous, reasonable prices.

Upon first entering the room, it was so hot we couldn't breath. Turned off the radiators and opened the window but it still took hours to cool down enough to be comfortable. We had to leave the window open the entire stay lest it start getting too hot again, even with the heat off. The hotel is a good ways from town, which is ok if you're looking to relax. There are some local food options nearby if you look closely. Some of the staff are a bit distant.

The staff speaks very loud in the morning while you are still asleep. They wake you up with their noise

Location was very convenient for some hikes. From the hotel you can go to the Martial Glacial walking through a little forest. However, this is not close to the city center, so every time we needed to take a cab to go eating, since the restaurant food didn't have so many options.

Breakfast was very simple, not many option, mainly flour based food like bread and croissants. I wished they have more protein based stuff like, eggs, bacon or sausages... since I prefer eating caloric things before a big hiking day. Location as I said can be a pain if you want to try restaurants, since you always need to ask for cabs (but they are cheap) Room was not cleaned daily, that was a little odd for me. The restaurant menu is also very basic.
