The view from the hotel is lovely. The common areas are well designed and the breakfast choices were very good.

One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was because of the spa. I only had one night in Ushaia and spent the day doing activities. I intended to use the spa early the next morning before checking out but it doesn’t open until 10am which was really disappointing. As others have commented, the rooms are quite dated and need renovating. There were also some small touches I thought were missing for a 5 star hotel. They had robes and when checking in they said I could wear these going to the spa but there were no slippers. There were items listed on the snack menu for the mini bar that were not in the mini bar. Overall while the common areas and location of the hotel are lovely I didn’t think it was worth the price point.

We loved how kid friendly the hotel is. They have a game room and a kids pool, as well as some puzzles and games in the lobby. The restaurant also gave our kids coloring pages at the table. I was unsure if a crib could be provided but they did give us one which made our stay super comfortable with our 18 month old and 4 year old in the family suite. The breakfast was great, and the spa was nice.

The only complaint is that you cannot change the temperature in the room, we were very warm at night.

The staff were just amazing! So polite and always remembered our drink orders. Nicolas, who worked in the bar was so kind and really made our stay special. The breakfast was quite good, but the toaster was soooo slow hahaha. Buy a new one. The spa facilities were super fancy even though the outdoor jacuzzi were closed for construction.

There rooms were a little dated, as you can see on the pictures, and the food was average. But ok.

My partner and I had an amazing time at Las Hayas. The resort was simply amazing! Both people, facilities, and services were top line. The staff was super friendly, approachable, and helpful. You can tell they really strive to make you feel welcome and comfortable and deliver a great service. They helped us call taxis, recommended places to visit, coordinated trips and activities to do, and even borrowed trekking sticks that came in handy. The Spa was great. We went every day, to enjoy a combination of the outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, climatized pool, and dry sauna. We didn't get to try the massage. The resort has a gym that is well equipped. The buffet breakfast is very generous and has a large variety of things to try. The restaurant had a delicious menu, and affordable prices for the quality of food you get. The room was of a good size. The bed was very very comfortable (I loved the pillows too!). Our room had a great view over the city and sea. Room service came every day to clean, vacuum, make the bed, and change towels (if you want to) and bathroom products. They’ve also left a brand new 2L water bottle every day for us to drink, as the running water is sourced from natural meltwater (water that comes from ice and glaciers on the top of the mountains) which is good for sustainability perspective, but not recommended for human consumption. In summary, we had an absolutely great experience at Las Hayas and we recommend it 100%!

The only thing I'd say is that on our last night at the restaurant, the staff was a bit overloaded because the place was packed. They forgot to bring us the drink menu after I asked for it, as well as the dessert menu. But this is a small nit.

The Christmas Dinner on the24th was very overpriced and one waiter (Martín) was quite rude insisting that I eat the vegetarian dinner because I have a gluten allergy (even though the non vegetarian was steak which is gluten free anyway).

The room view was really beautiful. The hotel is beautiful and I loved the breakfast. At the breakfast they have an automatic orange squeezer so it was wonderful to drink fresh orange juice. The decoration of the hotel is gorgeous.

The only thing I thought it could be better: the curtain of the room could have a bit more black out because the room don’t get so dark.

This hotel is beautiful and well planned out. It has so many nooks and crannies to relax and so much peaceful ambiance. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The beds were comfortable. The shuttle was great. The hiking trail was beautiful. Loved our stay here.

A really lovely property. The room was spacious and well appointed - with a great view! The facilities were excellent - the spa was great as was the gym. The location was excellent - away from the centre but the shuttle bus made everything easily accessible. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Very good breakfast , with lots of options in a lovely area. Staff were friendly and very eager to help. The paidtransfer to Cerro castor was great. The comp shuttle to Ushuaia was very handy. The spa was lovely.

Bar food was not great which was disappointing. They could make more use out of the bar area which has a spectacular view.

Room and bathroom were a great size and had windows that opened allowing fresh air. Comfortable beds. Outlook was amazing. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Close to town taxis were readily available and cheap.

Gym and sauna were not open until 10am. Espresso coffee and breakfast was not nice - just have the free filter! Only 1l water provided in the room which was not enough as were were requested to not drink water from the tap.
