It looked great, chalet style building with a view of the sea. Able to check in early ehich was a bonus. Nice welcome. Room warm and spacious. Shower good. Heating was good. Snowed in last day which was magical. Basic but good buffet breakfast

Both mornings we had an early start. So we went down to breakfast at 7.30am unfortunately on both occasions the breakfast was very slow coming out and not ready. But what we had was nice. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that if we wanted to see penguins we had to do a tour that afternoon then it would be finished for the season. Etc. I'm sure they were being helpful but it came across as pressurised. As we found out you could go other times, you might not see many penguins but you could still go.

Very good value. Management/staff are very accommodating. The manager took us on a day tour which was wonderful and he was totally flexible during the day tour. Everyone remarked how they were very kind people. View from the breakfast room is beautiful and the lobby/living room area is very decorated.. Good breakfast. They happily carried my luggage up stairs.

A couple of the rooms are noisy from the road. Just as a warning they don't speak English but we communicated fine with my rusty high school Spanish and Google translate. Climb up to the road (necessary for the view) and stairs might be a problem for some people.

Staff were quite helpful and pleasant. Lovely building and reasonable breakfast. Shower was good. Very good value for money. Beautiful view from the breakfast room.

Might be a problem for some but the staff only spoke Spanish - good for me to make me speak my rusty Spanish.. Some rooms have several stairs and mine was a bit noisy from the street or reception but by the second night that was not a problem. Other rooms are quieter.

The host was great with us, he was very helpful to give us recommendations on what to do in Ushuaia and was booking taxis for us with an efficiency never seen before! The room was okay, spacious enough. Breakfast was also really nice with a good choice of salty and sweet treats.

Nice view on harbor from a window in dining room. Nice and friendly staff, breakfast was perfect and accessibility to the city cebtre was perfect. Taxi from and to small airport was cheap and easy to book.

The location was good. Uphill but everything is. The breakfast area had a great view of the harbour. The owner, Adrian, was the most kind and helpful person. I really appreciate everything he helped me with, directions, changing currency, the night I needed to get into the room while my husband stayed out late at the pub.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast (but pretty basic and just sweet things). There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, the room was spacious. Good location

the window didn't close properly so it got very cold during the night. the room could have been a bit cleaner

Very cozy and quiet. The staff was especially helpful and friendly, always doing what they could to make my stay the best it could be. They offered suggestions for things to do and coordinated transit for me. The location is also minutes away from the main street where shops and food are. I highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. They didn’t speak much English, and I don’t speak much Spanish, but we found a way to communicate. They were very helpful calling taxis to pick me up from the property and with finding places for me to exchange my money in Argentinian pesos.
