Complimentary shampoo & conditioner dispenser not working. I asked for an additional soap bar for hand washing but not provided. I wasn’t sure about the gas heater in the room, so left a window open ( carbon monoxide risk- the room should have a carbon monoxide monitor for gas safety) they are not expensive & in uk last 10 years

Very welcoming family owned hotel. Good size room for 4 nights. Excellent continental breakfast and located on a side street just a few blocks walk uphill from the main street in Ushuaia, so reasonably quiet. Took about 10 mins to walk down to the main street. There is a very nice local restaurant nearby that the hotel recommended that is much cheaper than eating downtown. There are rooms at ground level and on the first floor. The only issue in staying here was the beds are very hard so it was a little difficult to get to sleep. The bathroom in our room is probably due for a refurb in the not too distant future.

The hardness of the mattress.

Great location near the center, very friendly and helpful owners and staff. They advice on activities, they can store the luggage, fait price. nice breakfast, lovely rooms, warm shower. When I came back after a few days my luggage stores with them were waiting in my room. Early check in is possible.

Nothing. I was doing a 4 days cruise which has been delayed so I had to go to another hotel. I went to a 4 star on Maipu and I really preferred Los Calafates and I slept better there. I came back to it afterwards. Happy that I did it.

It was rather basic but really clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was simple but good quality.

It was a little expensive.

Our stay at Los Calafates Boutique Hotel was great. Before our arrival Hernan already helped us planning our excursions and when we were actually there Ada took over as Hernan was on holiday. Ada is a lovely woman who is willing to answer all your questions and help you with whatever she can. She also made delicious breakfast: fresh scrambled eggs, croissants, ham, cheese, fruit and of course fresh cookies and alfajores from the bakery. Ada made sure we had the best time. We would definitely recommend to stay at Los Calafates when visiting Ushuaia. Thanks Ada and greetings to our cousin Nico! 😉

The owner and staff were super nice and kind. We moved from an Airbnb because it had a gas leak and luckily found this hotel which was available. We had food with us that we hadn't cooked yet and the hotel staff agreed to boil our eggs for us and leave everything we had in their refrigerator! Also we got awesome hike reconditions. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good and nutritious (although it didn't have veggies)

We really enjoyed our stay in Los Calafates. the room was spacious, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was good and complete with everything we liked. The place itself makes you feel at home in Ushuaia, but the staff add even more to the feeling. Ada and Hernán were very helpful, attentive and responsive, always caring for our experience. I thank them for having made our time in Ushuaia memorable and I highly recommend this place if you are planning to spend some time in the city.

The owner is lovely and the whole staff is super helpful with suggestions, assistance to book excursions, transport, etc. Great breakfast. Good location. Room is simple, but perfectly served the purpose.

There was an issue with the heater in our room. There was either the temperature of a sauna or freezing cold, no middle way. No good isolation, you hear everything from the other rooms. Bathroom is a little worn out.

This was a charming house-based boutique / hostel in Ushuaia. I believe there are 6 rooms, but they have just purchased the building next door and are expanding into it. The property was spotlessly clean, the owners were delightful, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was homemade and delicious; it was a combination of local pastries, fruits, meats/cheeses and eggs. Coffee was tasty. Our bed was comfortable. Each room has its own gas heater. Ours had a little problem and they fixed it quickly. It was a few blocks from the touristy downtown, which we loved - neither too close nor far. The street was quiet and the other visitors very international. Building security was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We literally liked everything.

The staff were proactive in asking how they can help - organise tours, suggest walks, book bus etc. In particular the host ( sorry cant remember his name) was fantastic at suggesting walks in the National park giving great practical advice. He could speak good Engligh too which helped as our Spanish isn't great! Good breakfast. Coffee and hot chocolate available throughout the day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
