The room was exceptionally clean with a spacious and extremely comfortable bed. The staff were outstanding, the view from the hotel was amazing, with the Beagle Straits and the Chilean Andes right in front and the Argentine mountains surrounding us. Although about 4 kms from the city centre, the location was, to us, ideal. Shuttles 3 times a day were convenient and taxis to and back to the city centre or airport cost only about $4 each way making a car rental unnecessary unless driving out much further is part of the plan during one's stay in Ushuaia. But there are tours that would take care of that. It was quiet and tranquil. Food at their restaurant was good and very decently priced. We loved everything about this boutique hotel, which was real value for money. Like all the boutique hotels in Argentina we stayed in, it didn't come with bedroom slippers (which would have been handy for the tiled floors especially in winter) so pack some if you don't like the feel of cold or hard flooring. And like all the other boutique hotels here, there are no coffee making facilities or ironing boards in the room. We would definitely stay there again when back in Ushuaia.

The staff were super kind and helpful and the hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet area. The views from our room and the restaurant are superb and totally made our stay. Despite what I'll say in the negatives, I would still stay here again if I was rebooking our trip, and hope to come back one day.

The hotel is in such a privileged location and the building itself has so much potential, it's a bit of a shame that it seems to be a bit stuck in the past. For example, simply revamping the breakfast a bit would already go a long way into making it a superb instead of very good stay in my view.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind. Pretty good service too. The view is amazing. It's a very quiet and calm location.

The distance could be an issue if you want to hang out downtown. The frequency of the shuttle bus isn't that good. The music of the dinning room! :s

The location was excellent. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we always had a good night's sleep. The lobby and sofa spaces were nice.

The breakfast was very minimal but alright. The bathroom could do with a bit of an update and more hooks to hang towels etc. It would be nice if there was a walk around the hotel area into the woods for a bit more to do outside the hotel.

The room is comfortable. The staff is very attentive and helped us with various demands that were not their responsibility (tour intermediation, for example). The view from the hotel (beagle channel) is very beautiful.

The breakfast is very poor (allways medialunas, coffe, milk, cheese, ham and two kinds of fruits), which is more a standard Argentine breakfast than a flaw. The location is not good. Despite the panorama and the fact that the hotel provides a shuttle service to the center and vice versa, the hotel is five kilometers from the center. The departure times are limited and it is not always possible to use them. Also keep in mind that many of the activities in the city stop between 12:00 and 17:00. So, if you don't go downtown with a plan or an organized tour, you can stay in the city without having much to do.

Location and view

Menu for lunch was quite restricted as was breakfast. Some hot food for breakfast would have been great. These things were only minor and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

We arrived at 8am to be welcomed with smiles and given breakfast. They got our rooms ready for us as soon as possible which since we has been travelling for over 30 hours was very welcome. Great Location

The location was just great, in the middle of a forest but very close to the airport and the city centre!

The views are unmatchable

There was a smell from the sewer system in the room so they upgraded our room.
