Great location, close to the center, but also quiet. Ideal for families. Very comfortable bed. Great for watching the stars, kangaroos and goats from the bedroom's balcony. The BBQ facilities on the balcony were very useful when we were tired for dining out.

I booked and paid for 2 King Rooms with Spa Bath and one of them did not have a bath. I asked the staff, who explained that there was no availability, although my reservation was confirmed. Room service could be better: the trash was not changed every day and we were locked out for some time one night, because there was difficulty in locating the keys that had been left for room cleaning.

Friendly staff and spacious cabins that comfortably fit our family of four (with the kids on the fold-out lounge). The bathrooms were nice and big, kids loved the large spa bath after many hours on the road. Great on-site facilities, including laundry, restaurant, and bar—everything you need in one spot. The grassy outdoor areas were a bonus, and the kids had a great time making friends with the many caravaners.

The cabin could have been better cleaned—there was quite a bit of dirt and rubbish under the fold-out lounge, and we noticed many stains on the carpet and outdoor furniture.

We stayed from Christmas day for 3 days in the King Room with Spa. The room was huge with a functional kitchenette (no oven/stovetop) with a fridge, kitchenware microwave, and sink. The king bed was super comfortable, and the spa (jets worked) was just what we needed after 7 hours on the road to get to the resort. The resort has its own restaurant/bar with a huge beer garden and great views out to the landscape, main road, and grazing goats. On Christmas day, we made use of the bbq fixed on the big balcony & enjoyed the sunsets from the room. It was over 40 degrees on Boxing Day, so we really appreciated their restaurant opening and providing pizzas to purchase from their menu. Great pizza, great beer, and very lovely, helpful staff.

We completely get the outback can cause all heaps of dust cover on the balcony but upon arrival my partner had to use paper towels & dust pan to get rid of all the spider webs that covered all the outdoor furniture. The bbq worked really well but was very unclean (we used a foil tray to cook on). Nothing a hose down with a pressure spray couldn't help?.

Nice location in the outskirts of the town. Beautiful surroundings. Mix of rooms and camp sites. Place was clean and spacious. Had a family suite. Reception closed at 6 so made it just in time. If not you had to call and arrange for key pick up. No phone coverage for hours heading in to broken hill from Brisbane if you were not on telstra so something to think about. Restaurant was nice. Bar and outdoor seating area is great for a beer on the deck.

Family suite had an interesting layout. Kids had privacy with own room. Master was like a studio sharing the kitchenette.

Check in was quick and easy, and the staff member on the desk was very helpful and understanding of an unfortunate situation I found myself in. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The deck area was nice. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and the meals were excellent, very tasty and well presented, and the portion sizes were massive

The very large bathroom window does not have any covering, and at night can be seen through when the light is on. There were other guests walking behind the building, so there was no privacy. The air conditioner in the room also struggled to cool the room, and the screen door closer was broken so the door kept flying open in the wind and hitting the wall loudly. The guest wifi wasn't very good in the room, which was annoying as there is very limited mobile service.

This is the best caravan park we have stayed in. We had a cabin which was spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculate. The park facilities had individual seperate vanities and changing space directly next to the showers - amazing and so modern and clean. The on site Mt Gipps pub was also very enjoyable with Sunday afternoon live music. Really enjoyed the fire place in the pub. We loved this outback resort and stayed there also on our return trip. We would absolutely stay there again.

The resort is located 14 km outside of Broken Hill but this was not a problem and definitely worth the drive into town when you have these amazing facilities. The menu in the restaurant did change and offered a reduced service but the food was still very enjoyable.

I loved the Bar and restaurant plus open fire, the staff were very friendly. I loved the emus, goats and kangaroos that we saw from our verandah and on our way to & from the resort to Broken Hill. The clean towels every day was nice. The games room for the kids was good but a pool table for the older ones in there would be great to add in.

I didn't like the linen on the beds, white sheets are always nice but this may be because of the colour of the water that you didn't have white crisp sheets. You need new bed protectors and pillow protectors as not all the pillows had protectors. The bed protector on the fold out was dirty & stained. The spa was lovely but not with the red / brown colour water. The kitchen tap water was the same red/ brown colour and that was off putting.

The helpfulness of the staff was fantastic. We had some vehicle issues and they were great at assisting us. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced for a venue that is a bit out of town.

Electricity supply in the Broken Hill area generally remains an issue after the recent storms. The generator at Outback Resort worked well, but everywhere needs to factor in potential electricity interruptions until the systems are fully repaired.

Very clean and the rooms were maintained daily. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very spacious accommodation with outdoor access to observe the outback. Great to have access to drinks and meals at the hotel on site. Grounds very well maintained.

The outdoor coffee table need’s replacing and the towel rail was loose but it wasn’t a real issue for us however perhaps a regular maintenance check would help
