I pretty much liked everything about this place. It was immaculately clean, spacious, well set out, recently refurbed and reasonably priced. The shower was amazing. It was within easy walking distance to everything we needed including pubs and clubs. The staff were great and the cleaning team did a crack job. Even though the motel is on the Main Street, the rooms are set back and the beds are set being a little kitchenette so you can’t here traffic etc.

The bed could have been more comfortable but it didn’t stop us sleeping!!

Booked 2 nights acc for a deluxe studio with 2 single beds at a costing of $176/night. The motel is located on the eastern end of town, with easy walking distance to cafes & the art gallery. A wonderful friendly professional welcome. We were allocated room 21. Car parking spaces are numbered with parking right near the door. This is a really comfortable motel. The layout of the rooms is excellent. A living /dining area with kitchenette comprising Induction stove stop, microwave & full fridge. Cutlery crockery too. The beds are really comfortable. The ensuite is roomy with a walk in shower with great hot water. An openable window. Nice quality toilettries in pump action bottles. The air con works really well & is whisper quiet. The fridge is too. There is no noise from the road traffic & we slept well. We had trouble connecting with the hotel's internet & both members of staff tried so hard to fix the problem. They ultimately did & we greatly appreciate their persistence. The rooms are serviced daily, which we appreciated. There is a guest laundry available for $6/load, with laundry detergent provided. They also provide air racks if you prefer, instead of using the dryer. The equipment was very clean. We had a wonderful stay here, as we did last time, & fully recommend Red Earth

It was our second stay at Red Earth. Studio was spacious & well appointed, Everything was cleaned and bed linen was fresh. The bed was so comfortable and we had the best sleep. The kitchenette was equipped but there is no cooktop in the room, only a microwave. But there is a cooking area with bbq outside which one can use. It’s walking distance to the BHP which serves delicious meals. Will definitely stay again whenever we are in Broken Hill.

The motel is conveniently located in the centre of town, in walking distance to several great places for a meal. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The motel staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places for dinner and even providing a torch when the entire town lost all power due to a storm and a failed town back up generator. None of this was the fault of the motel staff and they addressed the issue as best they could to make us comfortable. Highly recommended for a stay in Broken Hill.

Red Earth Motel is a family friendly motel, the rooms/apartments are spacious, with kitchen facilities, dinning table and lounge area. Located within easy walking distance to the city centre and cafe's. The pool and BBQ area are a lovely way to meet fellow travellers. Or sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine or beer on the veranda out side your room. Book well in advance as this motel books out very quickly.

The room was fabulous, with great amenities, including a full-size fridge, microwave oven, cutlery and crockery for meals and a table, chairs and couch. The bedroom was spacious with a walk in robe a really comfy bed and large and modern bathroom. The A/C was on in the room upon my arrival which, was welcome as the outside temperature was 35 degrees. A dividing wall between the lounge and bedroom makes this space feel much bigger than it probably is.

Comfy room which felt like a hotel. Walkable distance to all shops. Very clean and new. 2 tvs with one near bed and one at couch. Toiletries were great. Comfy bed. Spacious for a studio. Walkin wardrobe was good.

Microwave was difficult to access. Not for short people. Pool didnt feel safe. Easily hit the bulging sides as you cant see from above. Very small pool. Shower was hard to get the right temperature and weak.

The accommodation was exceptional and well located. So easy to book and check in. Really appreciated the high level of detail, inclusion and cleanliness in our self-contained unit. The motel itself is so well configured in a U-shape with IN/OUT access either side of the central pool inclosure. Michelle was a delight and thoroughly welcoming.

Not a dislike as such, but more an observation...After returning from buying some dinner on the evening we stayed, a couple of other blokes were sitting outside their room in their hi-vis doing a post-work debrief while casually smoking and drinking. We weren't fussed about it. They gave us a cheery hello and we thought they added a bit of mining town authenticity.

Everything. It was one of the best Motels we have stayed in for a long time.Booking and checking in was easy. Room was as shown. Very spacious and clean No bleach odour like some. Bed was really comfortable and shower was excellent.Friendly staff and ideal location .Walking distance to main street.Happy to return and highly recommend other.Being booked out most nights proves how popular and great this motels is

We planned to stay in Broken Hill for 5 nights. The Red Earth Motel was perfect! It provided us with a beautifully clean and comfortable home away from home. The staff were wonderful. Our room lacked for nothing. Our every need was catered for. We stayed here 5 years ago and it was equally as good. It is very central to everything ad catered to your every need. The bed was extremely comfortable. This is a 5 star property! We will definitely be back!
