Location was peaceful and central to our needs. Self catering suited us well. Air conditioning very appreciated for the chilly winter weather. Staff friendly. Extra blankets provided and appreciated. Too cold to enjoy or appreciate on our stay - but great playground facilities for children. Extra touches like more than adequate bin bags, toilet paper and body gel noted.

Not a lot to not like. Only suggestion for improvement would be a little mould maintenance in the bathroom. Maybe provision of a broom or dustpan would be another suggestion.

The location was stunning. The night sky was gorgeous, so clear! The electric blankets & kitchenette were great. Lots of room. I had to change my arrival time & the staff were great. Great map of the motel area & short walking track + details on how to leave your room on departure. Lovely peaceful area. Would love to spend more time to really chill & enjoy the area. Lots of info about what to do in the area as well!! Still good value for money!

The decor is old, but still functional. Would have liked a few more outlets available eg; one in bathroom to be available & another in the kitchen or living area. The power board was convenient, but not enough. The oven needs fixing or renewed, couldn't use it for heating (pies, etc). Microwave available though.

Had a wonderful stay, so very peaceful, relaxing surrounds, the stars were amazing, what a delight, and not to mention the cute little bird's many species of birds, the blue wren is my favourite. and we actually extended our stay. The Manager Ryan is a huge asset to the company he does everything there, Plus +++More. his lovely wife Kimberley was friendly and accommodating. Carol, one of the staff there, was so helpful and just a lovely person. We also met the new owners, who were very friendly and were busy with renovations whilst staying there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Warrumbungles Mountain Motel David & Maria

Breakfast was nice and pleasant, and hosts Harsh and Urvi provided my brother and I with a clean comfortable and affordable base nice and close to Warrumbungles National Park for some night sky photography. They were both polite and friendly and happily went the extra mile to give us a nice feed of dinner, quite late after a long evening out on the cameras, and also gave us a nourishing breakfast the following morning, all for an affordable tariff. Nice people running a comfy motel in a beautiful part of the world

The room could accommodate 7 guests: 4 bunk beds, 1 large bed and one single bed. It must not be compared with city motels, this is a place for people who like(d) camping. We used to be campers, so for us it was fine. There are chairs to sit outside and there is a playground for children. Very quiet! There is a complete kitchen for home-cooking, if desired. Draught had to be fought with a door 'snake'. We liked the total package and it was close to the national park. The white cockatoos will wake you up in the morning.

There was coffee and tea and biscuits, but they were not replaced during our 4-day stay. The washers in room 5 need to be replaced, they had to be screwed tight to stop dripping. Enough mirrors, but in awkward position for shaving at the sink.

Nice location. Clean motel. Friendly staff. Has everything you need and more for a short stay. Close to town yet has dark skies with no light pollution.

Nothing.

I loved that there are heated blankets, and lots of extra blankets and pillows provided if needed, as well as really lovely staff who were so helpful when my car battery died. It’s a lovely location and the grounds are well maintained with lots for toddlers to entertain themselves. The location is great as not in town so very quiet and peaceful.

It’s listed as having a bath which it doesn’t which was a bit annoying due to my kids ages but not the end of the world. My only real complaint is no coffee, milk or sugar is provided. I always have coffee and milk but generally rely on places for sugar when travelling as it’s a pain to travel with so not being able to have my morning coffee sucked.

Quiet and peaceful. Birds singing. Room was large and comfortable Bed was also very comfortable.

Our first room had been renovated but the tv wouldn’t work and hot water tap in the bathroom basin didn’t work. We changed rooms tv worked but this room needed to cleaned and renovated. The cutlery hadn’t been cleaned properly. The kitchen sink plug was the right fit. The fly screen door weren’t fixed properly as insects entered the room from the bottom of the screen door. Kitchen needs to be renovated.

A beautiful location, lots of room outside for dogs to wander (being mindful of the local kangaroos). I had a lovely big room, which was well equipped, with its own verandah and serene outlook. While the buildings are dated, there were some obvious and appreciated updates like a new fan, lights, and TV. A very comfortable bed in a super quiet spot to rest after a big day of travel.

The parking was a bit tricky as other people had arrived well before me and taken all the places in front of the rooms.
