Large and quiet room where we have stayed for 2 nights Be in control of the air conditioning - able to put it warmer or cooler day or night. Large choice of coffee or tea and several pods of each - instead of having only 2 or 4 pods maximum Although we didn't put our towels on the floor to be replaced, we had new towels the following day and our used towels were still in place. We had dinner at the restaurant and have been served very quickly in a pleasant manner. Very central

Nothing could have been better except perhaps a parking for the car. We easily found a parking space in the street, but it might be difficult in busy time. Also, we can park in the street for only 1hr after 9am.

The room was huge and well appointed. It was useful having a lift to the executive suites. The room included glassware, crockery and cutlery. It even had a coffee machine with a range of coffee pods included in the room rate. The bed was large and very comfortable. The couch/fold down bed, however, was very lumpy to sit on and it was very hard to find a spot to sit between the lumps - this couch needs to be retired.

We ate in the restaurant. My husband had a steak and said that it was cooked perfectly for him and very tender. I had the ribs but they were overcooked and dry. I mentioned this to the staff and I was offered something else. As my husband had already finished eating, I did not want to wait for another meal and would have preferred a refund or partial refund.

Very clean and tidy room. Good sized modern bathroom. The room is very big with lots of space and plenty of cupboards, etc. The bed is very comfortable and huge! Nice big TV (much bigger than in most places these days). Great lighting, and a good, more than adequate air conditioner. A very good tea and coffee selection, including a pod coffee machine.

For such a large room, designed for two people, there is only 1 lounge chair, and only 1 desk/dining type chair. There really should be 2 of each- there's plenty of room for them, because not everyone likes to sit on the bed all the time. It's near the centre of town, close to supermarkets, etc. And there's the attached pub next door. Also, it's very quiet!

The soft towels, secure suites, cleanliness, huge bathroom with seperate bathtub, well stocked tea and coffee varieties, spacious suite

Fold out couch was too uncomfortable to sleep on so had to sleep in the large double bed with my two teens. Parking limited had to park on the street. The suites while lovely may not be accessible to all as you do need to find a park then lug your luggage. It was ok for us and fortunately there was no rain. There are some drive up rooms in the older section but parking is still first in.

The Astor Suites are stunning. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and all the additional amenities you need when travelling. The rooms are beyond generous in size, clean and just beautiful. I really didn't expect them to be as nice as they were! The housekeeping staff were friendly and kind, especially to our 9 month old. The convenience is close to food at the Astor bistro and a short walk to cafes and supermarkets. Its an ideal spot.

The ONLY thing that I'd say is our room was not ready on check in time. It was ready 1.5 hours after. Which usually wouldn't bother me but after a 5 hour drive with a baby it wasn't ideal. However, I could see the housekeepers working hard to get the room done for us. And I did appreciate that even though they were clearly pressed for time, they cut no corners. Our room was spotless.

Our second stay here passing through and a very quiet comfortable place in a perfect location to walk for dinner. As we are hitting the road again in the morning it's easy to park out the front on the street.

Nothing really, just some gripes for the room designers, but not deal breakers. As others have noted the shelf above the suitcase bench is a cracker for hitting your head on. The lovely large room has only one comfy armchair and one desk chair when there's ample room for a couch and coffee table.

We had a very comfortable overnight stay in the town. The apartment was very spacious and had all the facilities that we needed.

We had 2 issues. One was the lack of off-street parking. We parked on the main street, which was not a problem as the car was parked next to the main entrance door. The other was that when I went to the car to pack away some of our luggage, I could not get back into the building. I could get into the room with my access card, but not into the building. I found a cleaner who let me in!

The first thing I noticed was how spacious the suite was. Every facility you need for an overnight stay was there including a coffee machine and pods. This property is part of the Astor Hotel complex which also includes a motel. The location is next door to the pub which offers good food and drinks. We partook in both. There is a lift to get to the first floor which was convenient..

The bed was too firm for our liking. Parking was on the street in front of the Suites but you could not see your vehicle because of the awning. However, it was safe enough.

Spacious clean new new suite centrally located to town centre and restaurants/cafe's. Huge bathroom and bed living area with extra height ceiling. Very clean minimalist design, quality fittings and built in furniture. Ironing station a nice touch.

Lack of detail. Small modern kitchenette but no sink meant washing up/ water access from bathroom handbasin. Very large but bare bed/living area would benefit from a small dining table and an extra lounge chair. No window rather a very high fixed light pane covered with a retractable blind that didn't retract so natural light/air an issue.

Lovely big room with natural light and comfortable beds. Hot showers. Our building was next door to where we parked at the restaurant/bar with reception so expected it to be a little more quiet. It had secure entry and looked very modern. The staff were very responsive when we requested a welfare check for the family in the room next to ours. Excellent UberEats from a local Indian restaurant that made the staff laugh because apparently it was less than a block away and we got delivery.

Our neighbours were very loud with a lot of shouting, crying (children), throwing things, and slamming doors. We could hear everything and that wasn't a good time. When we raised our concerns about family violence with the staff as soon as we arrived. They went out of their way to make sure we felt safe and had appropriate contact numbers. They also immediately checked on the people in the room and maintained a presence in the building throughout the evening.
