The communication with the Abbey team was wonderful, they were so helpful assisting me with a late check-in and made it a seamless process. The room was immaculate and the bedside lamps were thoughtfully turned on so that I wasn’t walking into a dark room and they had also turned the split system on to make the room a comfortable temperature. Thoughtful inclusions in the fridge and bathroom, and the team were also so helpful with recommending great local places for dinner and breakfast, all within walking distance. The parking and property were secure, making me feel very at ease.

Nothing not to love!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Abbey and it was an exceptional experience. The property’s design is modern and welcoming, with every detail thoughtfully curated to ensure guests feel at home. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and equipped with high-end amenities that added a touch of luxury to the stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like premium toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and a large tv. The staff were warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It was located within the CBD, walking distance for a meal and next door to a lovely cafe. We would definitely stay again.

It's a beautiful motel and we will definitely be booking there again on our family trips. We actually thought the photos didn't do the place justice and it was even better than we were expecting. Exceptionally clean and fresh and had a boutique hotel feel. Convenience to the great cafe next door was amazing and near to town and the adventure park for our kids. The cleaning staff were also very warm and kind as we were checking out of our room.

I had mentioned online through the booking system that we needed a cot but that was missed somehow. We had our own so was not a problem.

Great location off the main street with ample free parking and next door to the very good Roses cafe, where we had a lunch and a breakfast. Hotel is a new building but constructed sympathetic to heritage buildings around it. Our room was a larger size than most hotel rooms, with a kitchenette and full sized refrigerator and dishwasher, and large bathroom. Very soft, plush mattress, lounge, dining table and chairs and TV had foxtel. Airconditioning was on warming our room on arrival (there was a September Arctic Blast hitting the state at the time) and the room was perfectly cosy all night. The ladies at reception gave a warm and friendly welcome and check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again if opportunity arises, and would be especially ideal for a stay of a few days with the excellent setup of the kitchenette.

Not a single thing to note.

The Abbey Motel rates 11/10 from us. On arrival we were greeted warmly by staff and the presentation of our room was exceptional. Nothing has been overlooked in the amenities put into the rooms eg. all switches labelled, crockery & cutlery provided as well as a sink in the kitchenette area. A very comfy bed and a lovely little balcony with outdoor furniture. The location is perfect - just around the corner from the Main Street and within walking distance to everything. We recommend doing the self guided heritage walking tour around town. It is very good value for money. Roses cafe next door is an added bonus - delicious food and a pleasure to behold when you walk in. We highly recommend that your next stay is at The Abbey in Goulburn.

We were welcomed by the beautiful Michelle who was absolutely delightful all weekend. Michelle gave us great recommendations on where to eat, & if we needed anything extra for our room she happily supplied it. Our room was spacious & well equipped - just needed an extra towel for my hair. The bed was super comfy, the fridge was huge & well stocked, & if we had wanted to eat in there was everything we would have required. Great location with just a short walk to the supermarket & the very popular Hibo pub - which has the BEST steaks!

This is a great motel, quiet, modern spacious and very clean room. Easy parking and close to main street and eateries. One of them most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Top quality linens, microwave, toaster and crockery and cutlery, even washing up materials if you wanted to bring a take away back. There is an amazing cafe, Roses, literally next door with fabulous food and coffee. Open for breakfast and lunch and there are many good dining options nearby for an evening meal. Goulburn has really changed since we were last here, many years ago. It is now a thriving country town with great shops, cafes and restaurants. We will definitely be back when en route to Canberra or Melbourne

Not much to improve, although more than 2 clothes hangers would be nice! There is no lift so if you are on the second floor, be aware you will need to carry luggage up a set of stairs.

Comfortable, clean, pleasant modern room in the newer of the two well designed blocks. More like a hotel than a traditional motel. Room had everything we needed and a small private outside area with table and chairs. Great location and very good value. Would definitely return when back in Goulburn.

There were two pillows provided but both were too high for us. However we didn't ask if there were others available. Take your own if you like flat pillows!

The Roses Cafe' next door serves a very nice breakfast and although a little expensive, was very good. Coffee was also excellent. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we were met on arrival. Brand new rooms were excellent, very roomy and spotless. Plenty of parking and close to the Main Street. We ate at the Thai restaurant close by and it was also excellent.

Some glasses had not been replaced in the room from previous guests

The check in was seamless. Lovely and friendly staff. The room was more than we expected. Lots of room. Well appointed. The bed was super comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy. I loved the walk in shower. The air conditioning kept us warm. I was able to cast Netflix on the TV from my tablet. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, pubs, and the local Woolworths. Decent sized carpark. Plenty of parking. We'll be back for sure.

What's not to like? It was perfect.
