This motor inn is close to the cemetery so is important for me when visiting my dad and his parents. It has large rooms although don't book a queen if you want a lower ground room. The rooms are clean, comfortable, have kitchenettes and are not that far from centre of town so are quiet. They are by far the best we have stayed in at Goulburn over the years. The owners/managers are lovely, helpful and we ate at the restaurant which was great pub food.

I didn't ask for a ground floor room so at our age we didn't like to take everything upstairs- our fault though.

Rooms have been refreshed and well maintained. Bedding was comfy, and ample parking on site. Building is not new however with current owners it has had a good refresh done to the attire to bring it up to current standards. The bathroom was probably the oldest thing in the room, however still very clean and tidy. Shower pressure was excellent and water always hot. The owners were accommodating as we travelled with a child with mobility issues, and a ground floor was provided as requested.

This is by no means a reflection on our stay at this business, just something for consideration - knowing older buildings were built to a different standard, just something to keep in mind when taking on new ownership, even trying to add as best you can accessible options like a ramp up a small step really does make a big difference, and opens your business up to additional customers who may be checking vigilantly for key phrases to do with access.

Unfortunately I didn't check or I would have realised there were both upstairs and downstairs accommodation. When we arrived I had been located upstairs. As we are in our 80s it would have been difficult for us. The manager kindly found a downstairs more expensive family unit and he said he would not charge the extra. Thank you for your kindness

I was very surprised by the thoughtfulness of the recption staff and the very good house keeping service My room was very clean and well appointed. The heating was good and the bedding was comfortable. I have nothing but praise for the Heritage motor lodge.

I think given the cost of TV'S isn't so expensive now . A larger screen size would be nice . Plus a booklet information of restaurant food ,bar and facilities in the room would be nice .

It was quiet and the bed was extremely comfy. Ground floor level was easy access to my room.

The window in the bathroom was the only thing I didn’t like as it wasn’t good privacy, though the window was glazed, I had to keep the light off at night using the bathroom because the window backed to what was caravan cabin windows over looking the ground floor units where I was in R109.

Very clean and spacious room. The bed was large and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. Highly recommend for a short or overnight stay. Seamless check in/check out.

The location is right on a main road so there was a bit of traffic noise at night. The decor is outdated but very clean. We didn’t get to experience the restaurant as it was closed when we were there.

Large, very comfortable room and bed, well appointed with small kitchen area and large and very comfortable bathroom. Air-conditioner heating was great on a very cold night. Booking service was easy and we thank the very helpful manager too. Good value restaurant on site provides really generous and hearty dinners.

We arrived late, but they made check-in so easy for us! Great location, private, easy to get to. We had a studio apartment with 5 people, but there was still privacy as the room was divided by the bathroom. I thought this was a great idea. Plenty of on-site parking provided. Fast communication. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Linen was clean. Liked that the doona was wrapped in bed sheets as doonas are not often cleaned. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk provided.

Cutlery had to be washed by guests after use, which made me uncomfortable and not want to use them as I'd have to trust the last guests washed them after use.

Location was great, we needed something between Canberra and Sydney. Nice and clean, comfortable. Had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. Great shower, super comfortable bed.

Some other visitors decided to shout from the balcony to the carpark at about 5am in the morning. That would have woken a lot of people up.

The bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant with its friendly service plus food was excellent , it was a real convenience. The heating was excellent as it was a very cold night..Thank you for our lovely stay. M.H .

It could have been a bit cleaner, and probably needs a bit of an update,it wasn't bad just a little tired looking, but overall bed and linen was lovely , the friendly staff made up for it all..
