Often stays at pubs there are shared bathrooms. Rooms had own shower and toilet. Coopers Pale ale was available on tap which was a plus and pub is located next door to a Chinese Restaurant that is open 7 days

Rooms were located upstairs with no lift access but only one level and this is the case in most pubs, so that wasn't really a dislike.

Supermarket and takeaways close by. Perfect spot for a stopover. Bar downstairs with pool table. The hotel and bar were super clean and tidy. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room.

The Saturday night music is very loud from 10pm till early hours (Earplugs are povided though)

good bed and facilities. However, there were two things that disappointed me. (1) Though it was advertised there is WIFI when I switched on the smartphone the Empire Hotel did not come up. When I went to the receptionist and she entered the password and connected. however, when I came up to my room there was no connection and hence I did not bother to go back again. (2) There was milk in small plastic cups in the fridge for tea/coffee. They were old and spoilt. It would be good if the access to the rooms upstairs is kept clean and presentable

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. The room was well appointed, clean & bright. I was a bit worried it might be noisy but it was very quiet. Centrally located, it was value for money.

The staff didn't know about access from outside without having to go through the bar.

Good simple hotel. Lovely staff- very helpful. It is noisy at night but above a pub you need to expect that (ear plugs are provided!). For the price, it was excellent value for money. Newly renovated bathrooms, very clean, would happily stay again.

Clean & new with great bathroom hot water comfy bed good linen & towels & face flannels. Good fridge & cups plates & cutlery - good AC that worked - put all rhis in the online info - shared microwave available in foyer

Wifi needs a booster for the end rooms

This is the best bargain in Goulburn. Very large rooms with bar fridge, dining table and chairs, very good wifi and across the road from supermarket and other shops. Staff are very friendly. Its above the pub which opens until 3am but I rarely heard any noise. A microwave is available in the common area

Easy to get around. Good location.

Noise on the Saturday night. No notification from you but the Empire had the decency to ring and pre warn but by then venue already booked and plans made. ?

The hotel is in a good location for mid city activities

View out the window but not something that can be fixed. Windows also needed something jammed between frame and window to stop the wind.

Friendly staff

Could be personal preference but the pillows were not the most comfortable, a little too thick for a proper neck position. Other than that everything else was excellent!
