Location….away from the hustle and bustle. Walk to a great family friendly pub for dinner….walk to an amazing iGA which helped avoid the Christmas chaos, great nursery with great coffee and a walk to Timbertown. Close to the zoo….a quick drive to port Mac. Awesome pool/spa on the property. Clean. Joanne was amazing.

The cabin was a little small but we adapted. Booking.com also listed it as a villa so it was a bit of a shock when we realised it was a cabin.

When we arrived, we found that the room we had booked for our one night stay was located on the 1st floor. The receptionist was very happy to relocate us to a room on the ground floor, which was very much appreciated. Room was clean, well presented & a good size. Bathroom was compact, shower a good size. Have stayed here before & have no reason not to book again if we need a stop over.

The chairs with the table were a little basic - no seat cushion, so used the cushions from the beds, so all good.

We have stayed here many times, away from hustle & bustle, a great location next to Timbertown. Bago Tavern is in walking distance, & food is good! Lovely swimming pool, plenty of free parking on the property .Rooms are spacious & clean. See you next time! Caravan Park there, too

Didn't see the Staff at all, got key from after hours box & return box. Our room was lovely great bathroom & spa bath, great shower, everything we needed, but a small coffee table would be helpful in front of lounge.Maybe a couple of hooks in the bathroom.

Room 4 - The bedding was superior! I have a back injury and after the long drive I was worried about sleeping, I honestly would love to know what mattress and topper you use. We didn't get to use any of the facilities since it was a 1 night stay but plan to come again soon to enjoy the pool and tennis court. Love how close to Bago Tavern just a short stroll.

Only fault was a baby spider dangled down from Smoke alarm across Queen Bed. The spider decided to make a string of Web between smoke alarm and above my head to the window when I was asleep, so when I woke up to use bathroom I ended up with Web strings on face. But this couldn't be helped been spider season and rainy.

Although the reception was closed, it was easy to get key through the self-check-in system. Supplied amenities pack was handy. Comfortable stay. Nice and quiet given motel is on Oxley Hwy. Handy 300m walk to excellent Bago Tavern for dinner.

Car park spaces were a bit tight. Fortunately, not too many other cars near our park, so no problem.

The best thing was the beds. They were so comfortable that we both were off to slumber land as soon as our heads hit the pillows. The area was quiet and very little noise around and accessibility around the place was great even with my walker.

Nothing as everything was a complete enjoyment for both of us. You will be seeing us again when we are in Wauchope again.

For a country town motel, the facilities were fantastic - pool, Bbq, tennis courts and an entertainment room! The out of hours check in was exceptional and very easy. The bathroom was renovated and very clean.

Although the carpet and furnishings are a little tired, it was very clean & comfortable. The price point was very good and only 30 mins from Port Macquarie and the coast. I would highly recommend Timber town as a cost effective accommodation alternative to the much pricier options of Port.

The property is in an ideal position close to shopping and a great pub with good meals. The room we had was very spacious and quiet.

I do think that our room had just been refurbished and and not quite finished, as the only cupboard space was where the tea making/fridge cabinet was, I'm assuming that more cupboard space or shelving is in the works.

We enjoyed our one night stay here in the motel. After an exhausted lay over, coming into a tidy and clean room makes one feels comfortable. It was reasonable price as well and not very far from Port Macquarie for those who want to lay over for a few nights for Port Macquarie sight seeing.

There were some mosquitos in the room but we had mosquito spray which made it ok for us. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but it was clean so its was alright.

Room was really clean and comfortable. Easy self check-in and key drop off. Close to everything we needed. We stayed here to break up our trip to Qld from Sydney and it's a great halfway stop, we'll definitely stay here again for future road trips.

There's nothing negative about the place.
