Location, pool and view.

Woman at reception who was working on Thursday 4th January afternoon, she was not helpful, not professional, very rude way of speaking, any question she answered “this is not our problem, it’s your problem with Booking.com” However other guy came and solved the issue easily in a minute.

We would like to add. MIA our host receptionist was so accommodated.There were a old couple in front of us that had mixed up rooms from a app. They tried put all the blame on Mia. She was very calm at first. But to believe at the time it was not her fault or fair then they got personal towards her and blamed her for the mistake. To management it was not her fault. Yes she got upset. We were behind them and she tried her best. We just want to say. Thank you to Mia, staff and the great Chef who was so pleased to meet us and looked after our 3 daughters while myself and partner went for a run early with a coffee. Guys great job. My partner loves Port Macquarie because of you. Thank you, Geoffrey and Carmen. Will always come back. Cheers

Location was perfect, facilities were lovely, staff at front desk friendly & helpful, modern updated bathroom and the best BEDS… so comfortable I need this mattress! Best sleep ever of all hotels stayed in!!! 10/10! Parking ✅convenient.

Breakfast was really disappointing. Waited a while to be seated, not particularly friendly service in this area. Hashbrowns were not nice, bacon watery and soft, sausages tasteless 4/10. No lifts ? did not advertise stairs to climb with bags. Air conditioning not on in corridors throughout was really hot weather and really sweaty uncomfortable.

Parking and checking in was so quick and very friendly. Liked the pool, kids had fun in it and the view of the pool was good. Enjoyed our veranda looking over pool and river. Seen a dolphin swimming in the morning. Had some drinks at the outdoor tables when our kids had a swim, it was nice and staff were nice at the bar. I liked the rooms and the foyer area, small easy to get everywhere. Not fancy modern but cosy and nice layout. Beds clean and comfortable. Buffet breaky was nice, pancake maker was great. good price. Nice looking restaurant. Only stayed 1 night so didn’t get to try the dinner menu. Short 300m walk to restaurants ,pub, ice cream and shops. I would stay here again.

The buffet ends at 9.30am, the chef comes in and takes all the tongs ect away from the food right on 9.30am. Never seen this done before, could wait 5-10 mins after 9.30am to do this. No cold water at buffet had to go to bar to get water. One more jug with some cold water next to the juice jugs would be perfect. Enjoyed the breakfast though, very tasty. Pancake maker was very fun for the kids.

Great location and good sized rooms!

It was lovely staying here - we had a nice walk near the water & the convenience of the restaurant is a plus!!! Clean & comfortable room & the staff are lovely.

The meal at the restaurant was not satisfactory... the staff were understanding & for that reason alone, I gave the guys a healthy tip... Actually, I realised afterwards that my gesture of giving such a big tip was about the same as the partial discount they had allowed back to me... Anyway, these things can happen, it was just bad luck - we would stay again... but not sure about the food we would have to check the menu really carefully before ordering.

Location was great right on the water and only a short walk from restaurants and the CBD. We could park right outside our room and had table and chairs where we could sit outside. Even though it faced a public car park, it felt very private and peaceful.

The beds very large and comfortable but unfortunately the pillows were too high and made it hard to sleep. The staff were very accommodating but only had one slightly lower pillow to offer us so it would be good if they had a variety to suit their different clients.

I got parked in on the morning of departure & wasn't too impressed with the unprovoked smart-arsed attitude of the staff member who'd inadvertently caused the issue. She seemed to think I should have been able to get out of my narrow park in my large Hilux in reverse with her car behind me & cars parked either side of mine. As if I hadn't already tried several times & even a witness to my attempts said I had no chance of getting out without bruising another car. Management IMO needs to consider whether those extra parking spots parallel to the building are located correctly or really necessary. I'd have parked elsewhere had I known this would be an issue. The incident soured an otherwise pleasant stay & I'm unlikely to stay here again because of it.

We had a wonderful experience at Comfort Resort Waters Edge! Lovely room, easy access from reception and we could park our car right outside. Most comfortable bed, better than our bed at home! We had breakfast in the restaurant both mornings - fantastic spread and plenty of food at the buffet. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic, also better than what we have at home! The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Quiet room and so close to the river and short walk to restaurants etc. Overall we would like to rate our stay as 10/10 and will certainly choose Comfort Resort Waters Edge every time we come to Port Macquarie in the future.

I honestly cannot fault a single thing about our stay!

Room 120 - loved that I was able to park my car right outside. I love that it is only a 10minute walk or less to great food. Love the location by the water. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Bed was so comfortable and rooms are spacious.

The very large huntsman spider that came out of the bathroom. I bravely dealt with it but couldn't remove it from room. I did notice on returning that the dead spider was gone but it had been swept out against the wall in the hallway. Maybe housekeeping has a phobia which I totally understand.
