Spa bath was lovely. Balcony was great. Bed was comfortable. Chairs were comfortable. Great location for visiting the beach, and very close drive to town.

More amenities, for eg a toaster, would have been appreciated. Stairs were a bit much, especially w suitcases. Perhaps some form of shade would have been good on the balcony. Unable to fill the kettle in either of the 2 sinks as they were too small and tap too low. Had to fill from the bathtub. Very loud traffic sounds, especially late at night. Lack of parking in main carpark. On the street side, parking issues were exacerbated by unmarked bays and other guests being unable to park competently.

Perfect waterfront location above Towns Beach. Stylish rooms, clean and new furnishings. Large bathroom. Our room officially a ‘garden view’ which looked over the car park but had the gorgeous view of the ocean from the third floor. Could hear the ocean at night. Special touch - a complimentary bottle of wine, chips, chocolate and water on arrival! Huge TV! Super comfy bed and pillows. No sore backs here! Screens on windows was awesome - this meant we could have the windows open with a cross breeze instead of air conditioning.

Rooms are only second and third floor (we knew this before arrival), with no elevator. Would still stay again though - just bring less stuff! Excellent value for money. The room was renovated, but the door was rickety and wobbled when closed. A huge spa bath - but we would have preferred a walk in shower. Parking available on site, but not enough so some cars parked on street. However, this forced us to walk everywhere so we didn’t move our car. Close enough to shops and beach to walk. People walk in front of room along verandah - but there are sheer blinds so you can still look out at the view.

The room was very clean and the modern updates to the interiors work well, plus the complimentary wine and nibbles is a lovely touch.

I had stayed 3 weeks earlier and had a room on the 3rd floor which was great, even though it faced the carpark side, I had good views of the ocean. This time I was first offered a ground floor room, even though I had requested on my booking an upper level. I was then given a room on the 2nd floor facing the car park, but the views from the balcony are hidden by bushes - perhaps an option would be to trim these back!

The location overlooking the Pacific Ocean and a leisurely stroll to the centre of Port Macquarie is the highlight of this accommodation. It is directly opposite Gaol Point with easy access to the boardwalk/ocean path which is a great holiday fitness activity. Town beach is also diagonally across from here. Ocean view rooms with the lovely sound of the waves is a highlight. It is clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We liked how the Ibis is only two stories high and there is plenty of easy to access parking.

The traffic can be a little noisy at peak times but it settles by about 7:30pm. This is to be expected when you are so central to town.

The room was immaculate and beautifully styled. The position opposite the ocean was gorgeous. The staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation. An excellent property

My room was on the 3rd floor and with no lift this was a bit difficult. I did mention to the concierge I had troublesome knees but unfortunately there was nothing on a lower level. I did manage though by making a few trips up and down to the car and the view from up there was indeed splendid.

The bed was very comfortable with the pillows. Complimentary snacks, water and a bottle of wine were waiting on arrival to the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of area around to walk and beach is opposite.

Limited parking around the motel first come first served and if you have lots of bags you will have to carry them. No lifts to upper floors from ground therefore when booking ensure you are aware of this for allocation to 2nd and 3rd floor. The balcony's are very small.

Beautiful sunrise directly facing our balcony from room 204, this would only apply for winter staying as the sunrise would be mostly out of sight in summer. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately lots of dust under the bed base, found out the hard way when our daughter dropped a toy under the bed. The room is quite small and it had a king bed + single bed in there making it difficult for any dusting and cleaning under the king bed. However, the flyscreen in the bathroom was covered in dust too and all that the cleaning staff needs to do is use a vacuum cleaner nozzle to suck up the dust on it or unclip the flyscreen and dust it off outside the room, but I noticed that the dust was way harder to be seen during daylight then at night time, so this may have escaped the cleaners attention. Finally, the aircon unit hanging outside used for room 204 is completely rusted and ready to drop off the frame supporting it.

Loved the ocean views. The spa was lovely to relax in after a hard few weeks working over Christmas. A beautiful birthday treat. Small hiccup with someone burning some toast that set off the fire alarms in the morning but a quick response from the Firies and wellbeing checks by staff were fantastic.

Not an issue but maybe a small covering on the top floor outdoor patio so as to shield from the suns hot rays while enjoying a drink and the oceanic ambience on the balcony 😀

Ocean view was great.

The only drawback was climbing 28 stairs to reach our room. On arrival and departure manhandling the luggage was a challenge. Being in our mid 80's put us at the limit of physical endurance as my wife had difficulty without carrying luggage which left me with the lot. Some youthful assistance would have been grateful. We did enjoy sitting out on the balcony watching the surfers and ocean views.

The property was in an excellent location. It was very close to the beach. There was a lovely coastal walk which we did in the morning. It was in walking distance of a good choice of restaurants. The room was very clean, we had a view, there was a small verandah we could sit on. However the best thing about the stay was the staff. I blew a tire as I was coming into the property immediately Kyle on the front desk offered to help change the tire, then when we could not move it he found the nearest tire shop for us to visit. Then he remembered the maintenance man, Dan could still be around and Dan not only removed the adjusted the tire, but found that it only needed air again and went to fetch his personal kit from his car and blew up the tires. It saved us a lot of time and money for which we are so grateful to both of them. Kyle helped us up som necessary steps with our luggage after finding us a ground floor room which we requested. The cleaning staff were also kind, and one young lady asked if we needed help with our luggage. Very friendly, helpful, and courteous staff which made our stay much better.

The pool was right out on the main road in display of the road and anyone walking past.
