This one was definitely do not judge a book by its cover! Exterior looks a bit careworn but the room itself was clean, comfortable beds & pillows, ckean & fluffy white towels and fresh milk on offer from Reception for one's cuppa. We were only staying one night after 9 hours of driving - and it was a very comfortable stay. Easy walk into town to stretch your legs after hours of driving 👍👍👍

Room was air-conditioned but it would be nice to have ceiling fan but acknowledge motel configuration doesn't lend itself to this. Shower configuration means water splashes out. And this is not a motel with guest laundry facilities but there is a laundromat in town.

This was my 2nd time I had stayed at the Wauchope motel ,the property is in a very convenient location to the shops and cafe’s ,the price was fair, the unit was very clean, the manger was friendly and very accommodating. “For me” the only thing I could say comfort wise was the queen bed I slept on was to firm for me though others might prefer that “so no big deal” …I would recommend this motel for anyone wanting a short stay its economical and clean and positioned conveniently to cafe’s & shopping etc.

The location is rather convenient, with a big IGA supermarket just down the street, and with quite a number of eateries and cafes around. Getting around was quite easy with a car. Driving down to main central area of Port Macquarie takes only 15mins. The owners were friendly and helpful during my stay, coming over to have a chat about the Ironman Event that was going on over the weekend.

The facilities were minimal, sufficient for a lone traveller. Space was also big enough for 1 person. Overall was still a very comfortable stay.

We were visiting friends in Wauchope, so this motel was very convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was small but comfortable for our 2 night stay and included a fridge, kettle, desk and chair which was really all we needed.

The traffic was a little noisy, the bathroom was small, and the on-site parking was challenging for a nervous parker with a large car! Fortunately there was also street parking out the front.

The parking was difficult with about 17 rooms and realistically room for about 12 cars. I could not park outside my room. The outside of the property looked rough, but the rooms were comfortable and clean

The room was refurbished and clean and did the job. The Bed were comfortable and nothing too much to complain about. Close to the Centre of Wauchope which we needed.

Had a little problem with the air conditioning it kept stopping they gave us a little portable one Luckly it wasn't 2 hot

Very convenient location for a quick overnight stay as we passed through the town. The downside of the good location (on the main street) was the traffic noise, but this is to be expected. The staff were friendly and we appreciated the fresh milk they bought us for our coffee.

Very convenient location in Wauchope. A nice place for an overnight stop. It's an old-style motel that is comfortable enough and has had a bit of a make-over. The host was super nice and friendly. No complaints.

The room is very small. The sign out the front is old and worn and is hard to see, we drove straight past.

Very friendly people who left the very clean & tidy room unlocked for us due to arriving after hours.

I really can’t fault anything other than one small thing being that we had to pay the same rate as other queen size rooms that offer built in apps on the tvs as we only had the option of Freeview channels. Hate to sound picky but having a few more options on the telly is definitely my value for money.

The staff made the stay feel cosy and has a wonderful community vibe. Location was amazing with everything being a short walk away.

Bathroom was left slighty unclean with a few stray hairs in the shower from the previous guests, but didn’t affect the comfort of the room.
