The rooms were very new with enough room and a balcony. Next to the room was the Hasting River which was amazing! In the trees in front of the balcony some pretty birds and cockatoos took some rest - altogether it was super relaxing. In comparison to other hotels/motels there was even a room cleaning service. The pool was great and big enough to swim a few rounds - in general all facilities, including the pool, looked pretty new. The hotel is placed very close to the city - we can definitely recommend to do a run or a hike at the coastal trail - no car needed. Thanks for the great stay!

The usage of the washing machine and dryer were not for free (a lot of other hotels/motels were included these). As we stopped at this hotel during our road trip, it would have been great to use it for for free.

Well appointed and very spacious room. Large comfortable bed and I liked the fact you could open the balcony door for fresh air (a sliding screen door would be a good addition to keep bugs out). Close to town and undercover parking. Friendly staff. Pool and spa looked nice (although I didn't use them). Coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and kitchenware are always helpful. Shame you need to use the small bathroom sink. Overall I'd be more than happy to stay here again.

The lower levels have tiled corridors which can make it quite noisy with guests moving around and opening/closing doors. Light coming through edges of door face directly toward the bed. Corner of carpark a little tricky. A ramp instead of stairs would be awesome when carrying heavy luggage up stairs.

Comfortable beds, clean and central. Quality tea/coffee, shampoo and conditions + body wash, microwave and cutlery/dishes to have for basic meals if desired.

Low roof on carpark - beware if you drive a 4X4 it will likely not fit or at least be extremely close. However, plenty of car parks are close by (just not undercover). Be careful opening your boot if you own an SUV. Because of the low roof. metal brackets that hold up pipes are not friendly to your paintwork. A simple pool noodle over the offending brackets would cushion the blow.

Very clean and quiet facility, river views, good for a short break. Firm comfy bed. Friendly staff. Pool temperature great. Location promotes easy walking and short distance to supermarket and shopping areas. Car parking undercover. Restaurant attached to Motor Inn. Fridge in room. Central location to begin exploring what Port Macquarie has to offer.

No available breakfast option on site however supermarket nearby and venues serving breakfast within walking distance. Stair access only. Railing well positioned to assist access.

Loved the location! So close to all that Port has to offer - the boardwalk, restaurants, shops. Room was clean & spacious. Bed was comfortable & big. Check in was easy. Really a great place to stay.

Couple of minor things - Carpark exit too low to get our 4WD out comfortably, but manager said just go out the in. So all fine. TV could have been on a swivel bracket so we could comfortably watch in from bed. (I know - first world problems)

The room catered for 3 of us very comfortably. Great facilities and comfortable beds.

The air conditioner outside left a puddle of water right in the middle of the patio area so hard to sit outside around the table as had to dodge the water puddles. Need a hose on the outlet to drain it into the garden. Parking underneath my brother in law found that some of the concrete beams in the car spaces were too low when you opened up the large boots on SUVs. Damaging the paintwork on the vehicle.

Loved the new decor at Palm Court Motor Inn. The furniture, fittings and soft furnishings were functional and looked fabulous. It is in a great location close to restaurants, supermarkets and a short stroll to the public wharf and town centre. Looking forward to returning and lazing around the pool.

It was a little inconvenient having to use the guest laundry between reception hours which complicates getting your washing done when you arrive late in the day. Note there is a height limit of 185cm for the underground car park.

The rooms were spotlessly clean. There was a handy little kitchenette with a fridge and coffee pod machine. Beds were very comfortable. It was spacious enough for us to relax. There was a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the tree and river. We were in Port Macquarie for kids sports. My sons team had warmed up in the rain and were about to run on when Council closed the fields. We rang reception to ask for a slightly later checkout so my son could have a shower and the lovely gentleman in charge offered us an extra hour. We were extremely grateful for his hospitality.

The underground car parking is upto 185cm which was too low for my van.

Nice staff, comfortable clean room, everything I needed. Undercover parking. Even a little balcony with a view though I didn’t actually use it, it was dark by the time I arrived. There were full size bottles of shampoo conditioner, body wash and hand soap secured in the shower/sink which was nice and convenient. Convenient kitchenette items including a kettle and microwave. Decent size mini bottle of milk and lots of tea and coffee options though I took my own coffee.

It was hard to access the car park or even see the entry in peak hour traffic, car park was not secure (not a feature usually found in motels/motor inns but nice if you can’t see the car from your room) and the little fridge had a water leak in the freezer so my esky freezer pack was stuck in the morning and I split the pack trying to get it out. I had to leave it so I didn’t risk damaging the fridge. Also the booking.com app mentioned a restaurant in the listing but I don’t believe there was one, the info pack in the room only mentioned local nearby restaurants. It wasn’t a factor in me choosing to stay there though. The car park exit height is probably too low to let really big vehicles out. Didn’t affect me but I noticed it. I could be wrong but it seemed very low when I drove under it.

Honestly one of the most all-round pleasant stays I’ve experienced. I arrived quite late and was relieved to find the lockbox uncomplicated. The room has been tastefully updated and everything was super clean. The undercover parking is tucked away and feels secure and the location itself is convenient to many shops, cafes etc.

If I had one request it would have been to have basic directions to the room, as well as to know in advance that it was up a couple of sets of stairs, as I wouldn’t have brought in both pieces of luggage.
