Great spot. Nice view. Spacious room. Spa bath. Well equipped kitchen.

The girl on the front desk needs to learn how to cope when it is busy. She ignored us standing in front of her for over 5 minutes while dealing with a phone enquiry. All she needed to do was smile at us and mouth sorry or something. She simply kept her eyes down as the queue built at the desk behind us. The couple who checked us in initially were lovely. The skirting boards in the room need a paint and repair. Very poor the whole unit. House keeping was minimal on a midstay tidy. Tea towel taken and not replaced, hair conditioner empty, no sweep or vac. Looked a good 3 minute check. Hot water takes a while to come through.

The in room spa was great, room was very nice, this was our second time staying in the hotel, we found it to be very nice.

We stayed in here last year and we were offered $20 breakfast vouchers for the Cafe downstairs, the hotel has since replaced it with a free coffee, so no breakfast option at all, we tried to order room service but not available on Sundays, and they were short staffed on Monday and weren't offering room service, so we couldn't even order it for breakfast, which was disappointing. The Cafe is actually really great food though, which was part of the reason we stayed here again.

The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and clean. I went with a friend and the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were made into a king size bed as requested. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms which was perfect for 2 females. The location is excellent. Only mins walk to bars, restaurants, shops etc. Although we didn't have a water view room we had water views from the large balcony. Kitchen is big enough and well stocked. All rooms are air conditioned, there's even a washing machine and dryer in the unit. My only complaint is we had about 6 stairs leading to the room and they weren't easy for me to manoeuvre as I have mobility issues. Those stairs are very narrow, not even my foot wide. Apart from that absolutely no complaints. I've even rebooked for 5 nights later in the year. Cheaper to book through them direct than Booking. com etc. Heads up, cocktails are cheaper at the pub nearest the main street than anywhere else and they are delicious.

The steps leading to the unit and the sliding doors on the balcony are a little difficult but not much. The shower head is ridiculously high for some reason.

On the fifth floor with a view over the caravan park to the breakwater and along the big beach and out to sea. Morning sun but the blockout curtains did their job. Very good patio to relax on. The apartment was comfy, with good kitchen, good dining area and lounge. Separate bedroom and 2-way bathroom. Bed was a little hard but OK. Security access to carpark with plenty of parking. Access at night was via key card so building pretty secure. Good location. Easy walk down into main shop and theatre area. Building had morning coffee cafe, plenty more within 2 minutes. We would stay here again.

The staff and management were excellent in resolving the room issue, by upgrading us at a special rate. The room and facilities were excellent and the location was great, near to everything.

I give Booking.com 0 stars. We searched "self-catering" and you showed us pictures of "self-catering" apartments. When we accepted it, you booked us in a "Standard hotel" room. We are in Our 70's and not totally computer-savvy. so we had to upgrade and pay extra for the stay.

The room was amazing - The bed was so comfortable and we really enjoyed the large kitchen area with very modern and quality appliances. The servicing of the room was a great bonus and very efficient without interruption. Also we happened to be their the day they unvieled the beautiful new fountain in the lobby! Beautiful addition and pleased to hear the stones in the fountain were historic being from the site of where the building stands.

Maybe a screen to open on the main balcony doors - When dryer is on or when it is raining the windows seem to fog up and cause a little moisture but its wasnt a big drama.

Great location, everything was within walking distance, a short walk up the hill to town beach, or a stroll down the road and you would pass numerous dining locations. Lots to do for all ages, the coastal walk is nearby, town beach and town beach park, with its cafe, playground and skatepark cater to all ages, a short stroll and you will find the glasshouse, a little bit further and you will come across the majestic cinema and funland arcade. If you make it all the way to the end of clarence street its only a nice stroll back along town green park back to the hotel and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to stop at along the way

Excellent size apartment for a family of four. Clean, private, couldn’t hear neighbouring rooms at all, really comfy, well equiped with great beds, kitchen with what you need on a holiday, full sized fridge, bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner and hand wash, lovely lounge and smart tv. Heated pool and spa awesome and clean beach towels provided. Location perfect and close to everything. Also getting in and out of the complex by front door and garage was easy.

When using kitchen tap it made a loud noise. Cistern on toilet in the main bathroom was slow to fill up. Both these points not bad at all and didn’t impact our stay negatively, just feedback for ongoing maintenance.

Clean rooms with adequate provisions. Great location close to centre of town Easy access to our room with friendly internet and phone communication prior to our stay. We liked the bedroom being separate to the living area, rather than just being a small hotel room

Reception closed early. We had to leave at 7.00 am, before Reception opened, so didn’t meet any staff. Garage door wasn’t closed when we arrived, so little security for public access to the building via the lifts. Bright security lighting from nearby buildings meant that our apartment on the 3rd floor at Macquarie Waters was never completely dark during the night.

I liked how we could use the lift and did not have to use steps, as I have a bad knee. The hotel's location was excellent, being close to both shops and the beach. The bed was comfortable, and the room was suitable for an overnight stay. However, I wish the blinds had closed better, as we could still see the hotel across from us.

The blinds did not close as well as I wished; you can still see the hotel across from us. If there were a small table that we could make our coffee that would be good.
