My family and I had a wonderful stay at this motel. The rooms were clean and ready upon arrival, and the service was exceptional, with Marianne and the gentleman at reception adding a lovely human touch. The location is fantastic—close to the beach, with a great pizza shop just steps away. We enjoyed a delicious Chinese dinner at Hot Wok, only a 5-minute drive from the motel. Convenient location, spotless accommodations, and outstanding service—highly recommended.

The room was spacious with a couch and dining table. Toaster, bar fridge, microwave and kettle provided, so easy to make breakfast and small meals in the room. Location was close enough to walk to Town Beach and the Port City Bowls club. When I requested the room to be made up, it was done to a high standard, bed made, clean towels and crockery.

A smart TV would be nice as the Foxtel channels were limited. Herbal tea as well as the standard tea would a nice addition.

I loved the location and the effort the owners have made to modernise this older 3 storey motel. It is now pleasant and feels safety with all the essential safety measures being brought up to date. Reception staff were excellent to deal with and made a great effort to enhance our stay. Excellent fast food shops across the road and club a couple of blocks away.

We were advised on check in that units were 20% cheaper if we had booked directly with the motel rather than on Booking!

Enjoyed my short break up here. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only 20 mins walk to Town Beach and Town centre. Flynn's Beach was only about 10 mins drive. There were places to eat a few blocks away and a fish and chip shop almost opposite. Surprisingly quiet for most of the time I stayed there (during week). Great value for money, and very comfortable rooms. Strong hot showers unusual for lower cost places.

Pool was not as large as in photo. It was situated right out the front. Did not matter since weather not warm enough when there. I don't think many people use the pool. Perhaps some bushes around the poolside to make it more private in hot weather?

It was very central everything. We were spending only 1 night for a sporting event for the family. It had everything we needed. It was very tidy, clean & comfortable. We were on the north eastern side of the building on ground floor. Had a lovely breeze coming in & was really handy having a security door there to let a breeze through. Lots of parking available. It had a nice clean pool too but the kids had no time to use it.

Everything was fine. Only slight problem was I booked a twin room so there was 3 people staying the night. There was only 2 bath towels. Luckily I had a beach towel with me or I could have used my son's towel but couldn't be bothered going to reception ringing after hours as it was 9pm. Other than that it was great.

the male reception staff member was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and located a short walk from the beach. We had some trouble with the TV remote and the staff were so willing to assist. It was a lovely change.

It would be great if they could consider installing google chromecast in the rooms as so many people know stream shows from their phones or devices when travelling .

Room was big and clean, location was a little more away from airport than we expected. Entrance to the rooms is in a weird location (not through lobby of hotel). Room booking came with a couple of free drinks in the hotel's bar. All in all, we found it was good value for the money spent.

Entrance can be a bit intimidating as some folks hang out there (mainly because of the ice cream place next door).

The rooms were very clean and well presented. The facilities were great and easy to find and use (TV). Compared to a higher priced room we stayed at (labelled a resort) earlier this played it off a break and was about $40 cheaper - not a reason to increase your rates!

Unfortunately I forgot to ask for a bottom level floor and there is no elevator, so 35 steps later, we made it.

Staff were very conscious of being a service to customers. They were very accommodating to my needs. The room had exceeded my expectations for the very reasonable tariffs charged.

It's a bit of a walk to the PMc centre. Not many eateries nearby. Be mindful that there is no elevator, so if you have an issue with carrying baggage via stairs, best to inform ahead.

Exceptional motel for price range. Super friendly new owners. Unique shape of the building means rooms feel delightful for their size. We spent 4 days mostly inside with a kiddo (escaping cyclone up north) and the room never felt cramped. Highlights include - 'Buckets' the hotel cat, great pizza, fisho and coffee just 30 secs walk away.
