We arrived during a bad storm to be greeted by very hospitable property managers who were not only friendly and giving of their time but did not stop working to make sure the property and all guests were dry and safe in the bad weather. The Mid Pacific is quiet with lovely river views but in easy walking distance to the centre of town and Glasshouse Theatre. Accessing the rooms is easy, as is parking and the facilities are modern and fresh. This was my second stay at the Mid Pacific and I would happily book again.

I have no complaints about this property at all.

Superb location on the edge of the river with the town facilities and bars / restaurants on the doorstep. Pleasant views from the room to the river. The town is pleasant and has quite a few amenities.with a theatre and cinema, and interesting historical buildings. Superb 9km coastal walk.... with an hourly bus service back if required !

The building is incredibly resonant for some reason and transmits sound excessively, between the flushing of wc.s and water pressure from showers. Local workmen start early @ 6:30am between the leaf blowers and the street cleaners / dustbin emptying !

The location was excellent. In fact, we parked the car and could walk to wherever we wanted to go. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities in the rooms were great. You have thought of everything that would be needed for a stay. We had a side view of the water but were surprised to see a pod of dolphins playing just outside in the morning, a bonus for sure. The fan in the bathrooms were noisy so we didn't use them for night visits to the toilet. In the room we had on the top floor, the floor in the shower was not textured so was slippery when wet. The lower floor had a texture to the shower floor, much safer.

The Mid Pacific was a great overnight option in Port Macquarie for us. The polished waterfront hotel/motel demonstrates that care and attention to detail can make a stay in reasonably priced accomodation a pleasure to experience. From our large comfortable bed we had views across the harbour and the room was fresh and well cared for. In fact the whole property had the same crisp cared-for feel. For us the icing on the cake was the motel’s provision of free electric car charging. Being able to wake up after a wonderful sleep to a car with a full battery and ready for the highway was fantastic. The staff and owners were also friendly and helpful. Really, they should be congratulated for what they have achieved at The Mid Pacific. We will be back.

Excellent service, very friendly and warm. Room was spacious, although, the layout a little weird but that comes with the bones of the building (it's so not an issue). The wallpaper was 10/10. Loved it. Good view, also. Despite being on the 'street facing' side, you can still see the river no trouble. Grounds are beautifully kept and there's a rotunda with and immaculately kept barbecue and some good greenery around – would be a good spot to hang out, or do some work. Would definitely utilise that next time I stay. Pool looks good, too.

2nd floor room with lift access, some undercover, but not security parking. Staff made us feel comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and provided adequate utensils for two. Hanging space with spare coathangers. Vanity space and drawers in the bathroom. Furnished deck (2 chairs and a low table) with views over the river. Faces West, but location is superb. Quiet street but very close to everything, we didn't move the car after arriving. as everything we wanted was in walking distance.

No drawer space for clothes. No internal sitting except for dining table and chairs.

Very close to the river with a lovely view, close to restaurants - Indian, Chinese, Thai and a Grill Bar. This is a fairly new build - not luxury or high end - good overnight or budget accommodation. Clean and serviceable. Lovely people on reception. Helpful. Has a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making. We both slept well.

Woken by the shower next door at 7.00am. Didn’t hear any other noise from next door but water pressure noise from the shower was enough to wake me.

The view and location were great, we really enjoyed walking along to the ocean, and were able to have a lovely meal at a restaurant practically just across the street.

The pillows could have been better, I had a crick in my neck for ages after sleeping on them. But I guess everyone has different needs with that. Also it was Russian roulette getting a parking spot, they were very limited. We had a spot when we first got there, and then we went out and we came back there were none left, so we had to park in the street. Luckily after we cam back from dinner another spot had opened up so we nabbed it...but be warned that there aren't many spots available, and that wasn't even a busy day.

Location was perfect. Right on the water, walking distance to most things. Staff/owners very friendly and helpful answering our questions. Kitchenette in the room was very basic, but all we really needed. Bathroom was relatively new. Pool was refreshing and very quiet. We even used the hot tubs, which we did not know about until we got there. Good view of the water from the pool area.

Balcony is very skinny, making for a tight fit with a chair. Not a big deal as view is great.

Lovely property in a great location within walking distance to everything in town. Rooms have been recently refurbished judging by their condition and they were lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and decent sized towels. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Those dreadful hair dryers that are stuck on the wall and only one face washer and hand towel but they were very minor points and no doubt the towel issue would be sorted by the excellent staff at the property.
