Location - near to fuel station, car wash, butchers, IGA supermarket, Thai restaurant, and Corner cafe. The room was simple yet very comfortable for my partner and 3 year old son. Parking was right outside our door. Christmas lights was on from 6pm till 8:30pm, it was very beautiful, my son loved it. Cookies and tea, nice treat. Air con, ceiling fan, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, milk, extra blankets and pillows, iron and ironing board. It had every we needed and more.

The room could have been cleaned a lot better especially under the beds. My 3 year old son found a dirty sock, and old snacks. Otherwise everything else in the room was neat and tidy.

The Motel was easy to find as it was on the main road into the city centre and the room had obviously been recently refurbished and was very neat and tidy with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but quite modern and nicely tiled. We walked into the city centre for a meal but it would only be a 5 minute drive.

A little bit of road noise. Parking was tight but as most cars had left when we needed to leave it was no trouble dong a U turn to get back on the main road. It would be awkward to have to back onto the main road if you could not do a U turn in the property.

I found the accommodation very comfortable and was impressed with the cleanliness and especially the shower. The water pressure was great; the hot water came through in a timely manner. Best shower I’ve experienced at a motel! The room had the right amount of appliances for a comfortable stay. On my return trip home to Queensland I hope to book the same place.

I couldn’t get the air conditioner working to warm up the room. I awoke feeling cold and ended up using the blanket provided. It wasn’t ideal and I had broken sleep because of that.

Excellent value for money. Great for an overnight stay. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and basic kitchen facilities.

Smoking area right outside the front entrance. When we first drew up, we wondered what we were coming to as there were a group of women sitting on the ground right at the entrance smoking and drinking alcohol. Suggest an alternative area for smokers as it's not a great look and doesn't reflect the overall establishment.

Fabulous connection with staff! The bed was super comfy! The room was spotless. Parking available close to room which is great! The location for us was brilliant! The proprietor was absolutely amazing in helping us organise our stay.

This question is not applicable for us as Port Macquarie Motel was exactly what we required! We do not have anything negative to say and we will definitely be staying there in the future!

We were driving from Gold Coast to Sydney and booked to stay here overnight. We arrived very late but the check in process was well communicated and easy. Room was nice, it was clean and bed was very comfy. Bathroom was modern and we didn't hear any noise. We left early the next morning.

It was only about 10-15 minutes off the motorway.

Excellent communication. great value, cleaning tidy rooms. Facilities as expected. It was a clean and comfortable unit at a great price which served our purpose perfectly.

The only thing that made me uncomfortable, and I'm being picky, is the mattress on the single bed I slept in had seen better days (or nights) and I felt like I was leaning towards one side.

walking into the room it smelt fresh and clean the bed was comfortable the aesthetic‘s of the room with beautiful and the management were friendly helpful courteous and very easy to talk to I stayed in this hotel three months ago and deliberately rebooked for the same room I was able to park my car right near my room and felt it was secure I believe the star rating for this hotel should be higher I’ve been on higher rated hotel rooms that have come nowhere close to the comfort that I had in this room

What is now becoming our overnight stop when we head up to the Gold Coast, this is perfect. A quiet location, staff friendly as always, the rooms are spotlessly clean as always. Beds are comfy and shower very good. A 15minute walk to the waterfront and food in the Port Macquarie Hotel highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable, good value. Tea/coffee making facilities and microwave, modern bathroom with nice towels. I was worried about making check in but didn't have to worry as they left the key in a locked box and sent the code to me.

A little noisy as I could hear the tv from next room but they turned it off at a reasonable hour.
