I stayed at the Narimba Motel some years ago and I have to say that providing accommodation for travellers with pets is the main reason that when visiting Port Macquarie, Narimba Motel is my first choice. In my experience as a well seasoned traveller, I have found that there are very few pet friendly stays available on the road.. I booked a single room with an online discount through Booking.com. The price was within my travel budget and this suited my needs perfectly and the location is close to shopping, cafes and restaurants, The facilities offered by the host Lisa such as a microwave, tv with Foxtel, airconditioning, free wi-fi fi, clean ensuite and a spacious and very comfortable bed, made my stay at the motel a very pleasant experience. 😊👍👍🐕

Lovely little motel for an over night while travelling. And good price for the room. Recently renovated so modern and fresh and quite comfortable. Overall pretty clean but I did think the bathrooms could do with a deep clean and the windows too. Bed was medium, a little too firm for me but not hard. It did rock around when my husband moved tho, which was a little disruptive. It was really nice to have bowls, plates and cutlery and a microwave, a nice addition not normally seen at a motel. As many on here say, the room we stayed in was small but it didn't matter given we stayed overnight. We could stay easily for a weekend.

The room was super clean and comfortable. I've stayed at pet friendly motels previously that were not great in terms of cleanliness, but this one was top-notch! We had a small issue with the plug getting stuck in the sink. My fiancè called the number they provided, and they were there fixing the issue within 20 minutes. Really lovely people. It's pet friendly, too. We took our puppy on his first beach trip this weekend! There's a nice little park area by the ferry dock you can walk your dog around in right across the street!

Honestly, the whole experience was great.

This was just a stopover but it was a lovely, quiet location with easy access and convenient parking. Close to town and a lovely park across the road where my doggo could stretch her legs. The room was clean and well-equipped. A touch small with no indoor seating but it did state "compact" on the booking. In saying that, there was a table and chairs on the balcony which worked fine for my needs. Communication was excellent with the staff member I dealt with when I had to organise changing dates, very accomodating.

Family next door were extremely noisy till late in the evening but that's obviously not the accomodation's fault :).

Clean room, easy right off the highway. Easy self directed check in. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Fridge and bowls for quick meals if you brought your own food. Great place for myself and my dog passing through town between Gold Coast and Sydney. Very pet friendly, it is much appreciated. There is an additional $20 pet cleaning fee. The rooms were spotless, it is well worth it. It is in small print on the booking site. It would be nice if this were payable through booking.com, or the option to purchase a more expensive "pet friendly" room instead of having to pay the next morning separately.

Room was very very small. It would be suitable for 1-2 adults but would not work if children were included. It was cozy for myself and my dog. There are multiple stairs and it is not suitable if you have mobility concerns.

Didn't hate these items but didn't love them Not much heating and cooling died down unit1 Flooring was abit dusty like not moped due to driveway and wind before entry after got told mopping happened door open dust in No YouTube and that cancelled so I download the other YouTube to use Iron unless I'm just that male leaks water maybe Tv should be closer to DVD play or Austar and cords put in the wall Would mention once had big money liked it there lots but nothing is special to me always something to pick on most family kicked me out doing house complaints

We have stayed at the Motel 5 times over the past couple of years with and without our border collie. Easy check in, clear instructions for parking and clean rooms. The little things such as coffee plunger and coffee, and the small treats are very welcome after a long day driving. Close to all shops, restaurants etc. We will definitely be staying again.

Excellent location, very quiet, bonus 'dog friendly '

Room 3 has an awkward parking arrangement, and the chap next to me parked his huge 4WD Ute partway onto the grass to plug in for his electric fridge or something ( don't think his vehicle was electric but who knows) making it extremely difficult for me to park and I actually damaged my car on the concrete drain/ culvert close by. trying to get out.. Parking needs to more clearly marked so others can see it not just the occupation of the room. Otherwise I really like the motel..

We super appreciated the comfort of the beds first and foremost. The aircon worked well, and extra attention was given to presentation of tea and coffee (with a plunger! What a treat!). There was also menus provided for local food venues so we didn’t have to think hard about dinner when we arrived. We had road tripped from Tassie and the night before had stayed somewhere more expensive but far less comfortable and clean so to have arrived here with the little extra touches was a great relief. Thank you!

The motel is so beautiful, very comfortable and perfect for couples. We only stayed for one night to stop for our roadtrip, but we loved so much Port Macquarie and would loved to stay a couple days more. The location is perfect, with parking and in a very relax atmosphere. Lisa was so nice with us, since the arrival till we left, everything was clear, room was perfectly clean, and with a lot of more things than expected… so I can’t say anything but a perfect 10 for this motel!
