The place is incredible and the service from the host Leo was fantastic! He provided me and my friend a 5 star experience! From dinner to breakfast, everything is fresh and delicious! Not to mention the bed, which is pure comfort. I highly recommend Anna Mandara Luxury Retreat to anyone wanting a cozy and relaxing accommodation to enjoy Port Macquarie. A wonderful stay at Ana Mandara Retreat. Very comfortable. Leo was a wonderful host and most informative of the area. We were given a delicious breakfast to send us on our way! I would highly recommend this Retreat as a place to stay in Port Macquarie.

Leo was brilliant and made us feel extremely welcome.

The common areas, lounge, dining area, deck etc do not provide any level of privacy, which may be a preference for some guests. We were the only guests and so this did not cause us a problem but you had the feeling of being a guest in someone else's house.

The accommodation was superb - our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and overlooked the river. The attention to detail was second to none. The location was perfect if you want peace and quiet - Close to town but far away enough away. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Leo the host, was so lovely and accommodating and he cooked us a delicious breakfast - a real treat.

This retreat was exceptional with service, room quality and food. Check-in was flexible when we had to arrive at 8pm. Room was clean, bed was super comfy and aircon worked very well. The jaquzzi was warm and relaxing and the spa bathtub in the room worked well as well. Leo was an amazing host, made us feel very welcomed with welcome drinks and the 3 course brekky was delicious!! Highly recommended and will be back for sure, thanks Leo!

Leo was the perfect host. From arrival to leaving, nothing was too much trouble. A consummate professional, friendly and engaging, he made us feel at home. The breakfast on the deck was great - tasty and with a great view of the river and its passing dolphins. Would highly recommend.

Leo was friendly and accommodating. Me and my Gf had room 1 which is closest to the spa and has a balcony which looks over at the water. Highlights of our stay were swimming in the swim spa at night with the stars and the morning after seeing 4 dolphins in the water opposite us. We would stay there again for sure.

Fantastic Room with a great view of The Hastings River. Greeted by Leo who was very welcoming and helpful. Leo was also the Chef and he cooked up a storm for us. We sat on the balcony for breakfast - superb breakfast! Cannot fault this accommodation and will definitely come back again and again!

Everything was just perfect! Our stay was too short as we were working and had to get to our destination. A longer stay would have been tremendous!

Really modern accommodation. Superb location. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Warm welcome and glass of bubbly on arrival. Superb breakfast. Highly recommended. Added bonus was dolphins in the river whilst having breakfast. Thank you Leo.

Room was clean and comfortable. Host was wonderful: friendly, helpful and professional. Communal lounge was welcoming and veranda was great with beautiful and serene view over river. It truely felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was good.
