This was the first time staying at Hudson Parap and I will definitely stay again. Everything about it was excellent. It was extremely clean with the most friendly staff who were available to assist at any time. Also, it is situated opposite the Parap village which was fantastic for the Sat markets and had a refreshing, clean pool area to swim, relax and read a book! I especially want to especially thank Hem, the manager who attended to my reservation. The initial room I had booked was a balcony room which was fantastic - however too dark inside for me - I prefer lots of natural light. Despite being almost fully booked, he was able to show me a couple of rooms in the same category as well as a studio room. I ended up taking the studio room due to the room brightness and it was perfect for me. He accommodated the price adjustment also and his professionalism and communication made my stay that much better! Thank you Hem and to all the staff who work there - you were all so friendly and you make the place even better than the clean, comfortable place it already is. 🙏 Highly recommend Hudson Parap. - Briony P.

1-bed apartment with balcony was well equipped and matched description - very clean; serviced rooms; quite convenient for CBD [10mins by car / $10-13 by taxi ]; good bakery and coffee shops across the street and good mid-range dining options (Sri Lankan; Teppanyaki; Mexican + the ALH operated Parap Tavern). Five mins by car/taxi to Fannie Bay, Darwin Sailing Club etc (dining), Art Gallery & Museum etc

A bit pricey ($309/£160 per night) compared to similar facilities in the CBDs of NSW, VIC and TAS - this is an affliction on pretty much all NT modern 4-star accommodation. If you were self catering, across the street is a good but pricey deli; otherwise a 5/10 minute car trip to get to a Coles or Woolies / shopping mall

Great location for the weekend market, aswell as little eating places a cross the road for brekkie. Well kept with friendly staff.

The TV's were outdated and could only watch free to air. Washing machine and clothes dryer were unforgiving if you accidentally put them on the wrong cycle or wanted to added more clothes after starting them. Once it started you have to wait for them to finish. Kept stubbing our toes on the legs of the lounge arm chairs as they poke out on a diagonal. We ended up moving them against the wall out of the way.

We spent our first couple of nights at a four star in the city and our last few nights here. This was better by far. The one bedroom apartment and kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed. Washing machine and dryer was a bonus. It was impeccably clean and even the balcony and outdoor furniture was beautifully maintained. Bed was comfortable and linen was fantastic, the room was serviced daily which we hadn’t expected. Delightfully cool with air conditioning in both bedroom and living rooms. A small walk to Parap shops and cafes. With a car, close enough to the main centre of Darwin. We would definitely stay here again!

When I rang the hotel directly to add an extra night the day before our arrival I was told there was no availability. I then went through booking.com and was able to book the extra night which I thought was a little odd.

Great location and excellent staff. Comfortable bed and the studio was small but had everything I needed for a work trip. Air-conditioned, very clean and very good Wifi. Nearby to a village with excellent shops and walking trails nearby.

Next time I would get a 1 bedroom with a balcony as the studio felt a little enclosed, but it was very affordable.

Great location, close walking distance to shops and restaurants and Parap market. A lovely, well appointed 1 bedroom apartment. Lovely staff member at check in. This is 2nd time I have stayed at Hudson Parap and would choose to stay here again.

General noise created by other guests/staff from the corridors and from residents in room next door and room above is very evident - fortunately didn't continue overnight.

The one bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. All amenities are provided in the room, including a washer and dryer. Great kitchen with a full size fridge. Air conditioning keeps you cool in the heat of the day. The hotel is across the road from a small shopping centre and it's not far to Fannie Bay to enjoy the sunsets and also head to the airport. There's a small pool area but you can cool down in the refreshing water. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We would recommend this hotel for your stay in Darwin.

very noisy at night I had a room with a connecting door and could hear everything in the next room. There was a group of people on my floor who were very noisy moving between rooms late at night.

It is a great property in an excellent location. The staff are courteous, friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We will certainly consider Hudson's for our next visit.

The cleaning staff were always in a hurry and vacuuming of the room was quite poor. Also they did miss replacing towels a couple of times.

Friendly service from reception and housekeeping staff. Modern amenities and very clean. Great location near Parap village - easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Could hear other guests in the corridors, talking, slamming doors etc, though bedroom was quiet (stayed in a 1 bed apartment)
