Close to bus, woollies supermarket, close to CBD, pool area nice, comfortable beds , gated complex for security, which is a must in CBD, loft apartment is a great utilisation of space , however it is a loft not a separate private bedroom so lights or TV on downstairs can be heard and seen.

Property is in need of maintenance ( just has new owners so hopefully this is underway), pool areas spas are not working, our sliding door to patio was too hard to open and close ( waiting for new door) , patio area from our room (13) was dirty, and not inviting, looked out on ugly walkway and garden needs more privacy plants etc and was dirty.

The location. The room (once the day manager transferred us to a more accessible-friendly room).

We, a child and I, arrived just at about 02:45 with a walker and luggage, yet the night manager placed us in a room for which I had to take everything up TWO floors of ramps. No assistance was offered. Thankfully the day manager amended the situation in the morning, moving us to a more suitable room. My family member was a child who drinks neither tea, nor coffee. I was surprised that a chocolate powder sachet option was not available in the room, nor in the restaurant. To address the situation, the kind management provided us with a tin of Milo. This option has beean available at hotels where I have stayed previously, and in the next one in Adelaide the following week.

Locatio, reception staff comfy beds good size TV and picture quality

The cleaners kept forgetting to provide toilet paper i had to ask the cleaners twice after they left my room for toilet paper to be replaced the cups and glasses were not always washed and the table was not cleaned at all during my stay including the floor not being vacuumed, sometimes I got a face washer with the fresh towels and so.etimes I didn't. Twice the cleaners did not replace the tissues. I threw my sandles in the bin and the cleaners took them out of the bin and asked if they could keep them.

Good location, quiet, clean and comfortable

There were problems for me when I was asked to make payment just before we arrived. I was sent a link to the Booking.com page but that didn’t have an option for paying. Also there was an error in the phone number given in the message so initially I could not phone to sort this out. I found the right phone number, then was sent a link for payment. It said Garret Hotel and that was confusing. I put me credit card in ok, but the app crashed further on in the registration process. All up, it was a frustrating an frankly unnecessary experience.

Once we were in the main hotel we were very satisfied with the room and facilities. The beds were huge, the mattress and bedding both excellent, there was a fridge. The pools were lovely, towels available at Reception. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were happy for us to leave our cases for two nights while we went to Kakadu. And they resolved the issues with our first night's accommodation quickly. Excellent location for food provisions (Woolworths next door), and all downtown restaurants, shops, etc. Free parking.

We had booked a townhouse by mistake, so when we arrived late, we were given a key and told to go outside for our room. The path was unlit and uneven, which made it difficult to find. We were greeted by a cockroach in the kitchen and there were other insects on the bed. Carpets were stained, and the bathroom was old and tired. The phone didn't work and there were missing items in the kitchen. The new owners (previously Travelodge) were able to move us into the hotel itself the following morning. These townhouses are probably going to be revamped as the Leea Group are an upmarket chain and they had only taken over the hotel a few days previously. But until they have had time to improve the external area, it's safer to book a hotel room.

The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything and easy to come and go. Woolworyhs across the road was handy. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The laundry facilities were good, they could be maintained better but very convenient to have them. The staff always greeted you and were happy to help with any requests

Would be great to have a toaster/microwave and some plates/cutlery in the rooms. The shower had some mould and the shower head was a bit blocked. These things wouldn't stop me from staying here again, just things to note.

We liked the pool area surrounded by palms, the convenience of Woolworths opposite, the quietness of our townhouse even though there is plenty of activity at the resort and being a walk or short Uber ride from everything we were interested in visiting. Were concerned that from photo that upstairs dark and hot but not so, could open windows, area had its own fan and split system. We would like to stay again next year.

Tiles need to be remortared where the ants come in and outside walls need repainting and some air conditioners replaced to meet the standard inside the townhouse.

Great staff and nice place to stay.

There needs to be security at the hotel for the safety of the staff especially. We witnessed multiple people coming in and out of the hotel who were drunk, fighting and not guests of the hotel. We shared an elevator with a very large man who had previously been acting aggressive. This was at 10:30pm. A child had given him the key. He asked us how to get up the elevator and we didn’t feel safe to say no. He shouldn’t have been allowed in and the staff were put in really scary situations. Luckily no one was hurt but I can imagine the turnover of staff will increase given what they have to go through every day.

The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is big, with a wonderful shower. Easy access in and out of the hotel, easy walk into the city or drive to local places in or around Darwin. Car park was secure. Hotel was very clean and friendly. Rooms were serviced daily which was great too. We hired a car and drove to Litchfeild, saw the Croc Zoo out of town, went to Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls and the Mindil Markets. We experienced many of the wonderful restaurants in Darwin. Best eating spot for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner was "Cool Spot" in Fannie Bay. All easy access from TravelLodge.

Could do with some garden maintenance in and around the pool area would make it exceptional. Good pool area though.

We stayed here twice with a trip to Kakadu in between before the Ghan. The perfect place to stay for the Ghan bus transfer and feels like you are in the middle of a tropical sanctuary in the grounds. Breakfast was excellent and location to handy supermarket and cafes great. Our flight arrived very late in the middle of the night and checking in was no hassle. Easy to find (entrance on the main road, don’t follow GPS down the side road). Clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful.
