My room was on the 6th floor with balcony. Very pleasant to sit on balcony early morning or in evening. Too hot in afternoon. Only view from balcony at this level was of other buildings. You need to be higher up to get a view. Views are spectacular from top floors. Swimming pool is very nice and was uncrowded during my stay. Well appointed kitchenette.

I turned the air conditioner off and used only the ceiling fans. I found the air-conditioner too cold.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon hearing our request for laundry they directed us the opportunity to join their membership and 'spin a wheel' to get a room upgrade with rooms that had a washing machine and a dryer. Upon failing the first couple of attempts and getting 'free drink' and 'free breakfast', they overheard us saying how work already provides us with free breakfast and drinks, so they had us keep spinning the wheel until it landed on 'room upgrade'. This was incredibly unexpected and very welcomed.

The gym was, not good at all. And no pool kinda sucked, but that was outside staff control and we were informed of the pool beforehand.

Friendly staff and good location. The check in was quick. The elevators very fast. I really liked the higher floor. The room was very quiet. The rain shower and strong water pressure fantastic. There are 2 ceiling fans as well as quiet air conditioning so u can get the comfort right. I thought there would have been foxtel/Netflix but only free TV is available. Not a big deal for me...

The only complaint was that the shower floor level was badly done...resulting in a 1.5 cm puddle of water always there....including some flooding during use. Room 1222. One of the elevators is always kept as a service elevator and I got it half the time...feels very factory like...

At reception a young man couldn't understand why I didn't want to join the Mantra "club" - persistent to the point of annoying. Reception charged $100 security deposit which took over 2 weeks to be refunded - they then chose to "blame the bank" and told me to sort it out - very poor public relations and process. At booking pool was advertised as being back in service but AFTER registration we were informed it was still out of action - deceptive! We booked AND PAID FOR a harbour view but got a city view with a harbour glimpse. Again deceptive

The spacious apartments, the view and the location

The shower frequently ran cold, few necessities missing from the kitchen- plug, sponge/kitchen cloth, scissors and the tea hadn’t been topped up when we arrived. The location is excellent, but it is very noisy on Thurs/Fri nights with loud club music audible until the early hours. The pool was also closed for maintenance which we didn’t know when we booked it. It was one of the features we booked the property for. There was an alternative pool option available across the road at a nearby hotel, however it wasn’t nearly as good.

Location was very good. Lovely views from my room and the buffet breakfast was great.

Property and staff-were great however once again I have been stuck with a pending payment appearing on my bank account although your staff have cancelled the transaction. This happened a couple of months ago at the Sydney Airport Mantra as well. It took a full month before my funds were released back to me. The same thing is happening after my stay with you. There is an amount of $200 frozen on my account. The first time it happened I sent a complaint through to Accor which was ignored. So I’m afraid you can be as good as you can be but I will now never stay at another Mantra motel. This is costing you sales. Goodbye.

Peaceful and convenient to everything.

The stove top needs to be cleaned with specific ceramic/glass cleaner and a scraper. Staff sent me down the back when I arrived to the elevator and to use an intercom without checking if they at reception should be checking me in, they didn’t even ask my name etc. very tired arriving at 2am and not just being greeted and checked in, booking stated I would be around 1am check in so not many at that time I imagine.

Views, staff, room (1 bedroom apartment with sea views) were exceptional. The view from the pool was lovely. General facilities were great. Front office staff are amazing.

Parking is not suitable for anyone who has a vehicle over 2.1m high. There isn't any off street secure parking for vehicles that don't fit in their carpark. Smoke alarms are extremely sensitive. The rangehoods only recirculate air. If they were ducted and vented outside it would be much better. The pool area needs a bit of maintenance - the little bridge is in a sad state and the waterfall isn't working.

Check in was seamless, the reception staff very helpful. The lounge and separate bedroom were each a very good size. Staff had turned both air conditioners and the de-humidifier on before we arrived, so the room was cool and pleasant - very much appreciated upon arrival in Darwin in the wet season! Tea/coffee/milk all supplied in ample quantity, as were bathroom supplies. Great view of the city and bay from our 1 BR water view apartment.

Wasn't informed about FREE WiFi upon check in, so didn't know it was available until later in our stay. Cost us $40 for three days. Better communication needed in relation to this service.

this was our second stay in the facility this week, we were guests earlier on in the week situated on the 15th floor and the room and location was very good. on our second visit, level 7 initially our room air conditioning was not working, but we reported it to staff and they moved us to another room level 5, it was just a short stay this time and enjoyable.

it would have been better if the aircon had been working on arrival and we didn't have the need to change rooms.
