Quiet. Easy check in and out if you have early morning planes. We were there fir a funeral so they moved us to the same floor as our family. Convenient to shops. We had a studio with microwave so able to heat with meals from supermarket around the corner. Marco who dealt with us was friendly and eager to ease and staff were all very respectful and friendly. The room had all we needed plus great block out curtains and was exceptionally clean and comfy. There is even a button in the foyer fir taxi call. We had a taxi arrive within the minute to take us to the airport for midnight flight. Taxi was around $40.

Rooms were clean with a well appointed Kitchenette. Location was very convenient to Shops, Restaurants, Busses, Taxis etc. During our stay council busses were free and convienient.

The only negative would be the lack of adequate sound proofing from loud guests. We could hear these loud guests through the connecting doors, walls ceilings etc. This was a minor annoyance only which we did NOT report to staff.

Great location, lovely warm pool. The bathroom was modern and clean. Easy walking distance to The Esplanade and lovely beach front park.

Pretty basic facilities given the hefty price. No dining options (or breakfast) in the hotel but plenty of places nearby to eat out and buy snacks. They need more than 4 deck chairs by the pool.

Great size room and bathroom. Luxury feels. Right in the heart of the city.

Entrance on a laneway, opposite a very dingy looking nightclub. The lane takes away the luxury feel as you enter, it is well lit though so didn't feel unsafe at night but the thumping music and nightclub patrons hanging around at night are a bit of a negative. We were didn't notice the music once we were in our room though. It's not a big deal but fit the luxury vibe of the Rydges.

One permanent red stain but that’s ok as I trusted it was clean. . Had to turn water up full in shower to get a wide spread but that was a nice luxury but wasted water. The staff not at his desk with the “push for attendance” button tucked away. I didn’t like his brush off when I suggested having it out and obvious. I only waited 2 minutes.

location is excellent, right in the center of town and close to everything!

showers aren't very wide, and then they mount the soap holder and bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the side wall which you knock into when in the shower, shower nozzles are terrible, you cant turn the showers on from the side, you have to stand in front of the shower to turn it on and can't escape that first blast of cold water out of the nozzle lol. parking fee's are ridiculous compared to other places in Darwin nearly 3 times as expensive and when asked if they could reduce or cap the price for over a week stay, the answer was no...

The location is perfectly central to everything. The rooms are clean, tidy and did exactly what we needed it for. The best part of our stay, and the reason we’ve come back more than once is the lovely gentleman with black glasses and a buzzcut who is often on the front desk when we get there. He is such a gem. So friendly, very kind and helpful! Plus we can bring out dogs which is a massive bonus.

The Manager and staff were incredible. Every time I walked through the front door I was greeted with a smile and a hello to me and my dog Parker. Currently going through the worst time of my life and your manager held my hand while I cried and told me everything will be ok. I will never forget the compassion and support from him and the team. Thank you

Loved everything

Very central to everything we wanted to see. The hotel was quiet, the staff were very friendly and the housekeepers were fantastic! We enjoyed the pool area and the size of the room with the kitchenette was very comfortable.

It would have been nice to have access to a bbq area near the pool. The only place you can properly mingle with other guests is at the pool and we did meet lovely people. Opening up that area would make it better and maybe a small play area for children. The reception area seemed impersonal with a staff member standing in the corner helping guests to do their own check in. It’s sad when the only people you talk to regularly are the cleaners.

Darwin is a loverly city, Rydge's is close to all amenities we needed, location was a busy area but good. The area was clean, but a bit run down.

The weather was amazing, the people all friendly, easy walking to most areas, Uber were very efficient.
