Excellent sized rooms and facilities, great views from the large balcony, we were a middle room, so these balconies are wider, all apartment listed items were in good working order. Comfortable bed, good air-conditioning

The bathtub combination step into shower needs replacing it is clean , but outdated and has minor surface damage, better lighting is needed for the vanity area, shaving etc. The pool itself is great, but all the lounges and chairs need replacing, it was a juggling act to find items that weren't damaged

Nice sea view from the room/balcony. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities expected from a Mantra apartment. Nice pool for a refreshing dip. Mantra is located close to Coles for easy shopping if self-catering, but also close to the backpacker/restaurant strip. Quiet rooms if facing the sea. Easy 10-minute walk to the marina area.

The kitchen area was a bit cramped and not as well laid out as it could have been (some cupboards were a bit hard to reach for short people).

Room Location excellent on the south eastern corner (room 406). View was mostly a large blank building wall, but some view to the east over the city and about a 50 deg view over the harbour which was fine... the best thing though is that the balcony was in full shade for most of the day so we weren't barbecued when sitting out there. We'll be asking for that room or one like it, again. The location of course is a cracker.

Kitchen utensils very basic - looked like a grab from an op shop... eg the large frying pan was way too large for the stove top; the spatula was metal for a non-stick pan only one large knife - and blunt. Again, as we have commented before, for longer stays having a small broom and dustpan/brush is essential for keeping the kitchen and carpeted eating areas clean during a 4 day stay. Along with tea, sugar etc how about a few salt/pepper sachets as well.

Very clean. Great supply of necessities was nice (shower gel, shampoo, dish detergent & clothes detergent).

Separate key cards for the elevator & room entry made it a little tricky. Parking is $19 per day. More utensils and cookware (frypan, microwave dishes) are needed for self catering purposes. Hot water was not the hottest and the bathroom needs an update. Doors covering the washing machine & dryer made it awkward to use.

This hotel is perfect when visiting Darwin as it is central to the town and to the sea front. We stayed in an apartment and requested a harbour view which we got. The Reception staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Darwin. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay in this hotel when I visit Darwin again.

All good for what we needed

Staff accommodated our request to be on a high floor. Ended up with the top floor and a water view even though we booked a city view. We really appreciate that and enjoyed waking up to the water every morning. Clean and fresh upon first entry. Early check in at 11am was very convient as we arrived 1am that morning

The shampoo, conditioner and bodywash were very watery. I suspect because being right under the pooling of water from the shower. Two keys instead of the one for everything - outside doors, elevator and then another for room was a tad annoying but that's super minor. Lastly that it was lamp lit at night time and that there wasn't an overhead light illuminating the entire room. Everyone was very friendly both staff and guests staying in the hotel.

Were able to leave our luggage in hotel until our room was ready and were able to do the same on leaving as our next destination was after check out time. It was great having a bed each as I was traveling with my sister and we prefer not to share a bed. It seems most hotels in Australia assume all travelers want to share a bed which surely cannot be the case. Fellow guests seemed really friendly and relaxed when there was a 'Emergency' and we had to evacuate - luckily it was a false call, but we were glad we were on the first floor!

The luggage locker could be more secure, but assume this will improve once the building works complete. Perhaps a bit more assurance from staff when the false Emergency happened would have been appropriate. Indeed seemed to us that the single receptionist was overworked, though she was always friendly and helpful.

Great stay, apart from the 2am wake up fire alarm going off. The window to the bedroom in 612 was green and mouldy. It didn't cause issues but was unsightly. Also behind the curtain is some dried up leak from the ceiling. Loved the soaps in the bathrooms. And the bed was comfortable.

Booked 2 beds. Arrived at 1am to find only 1 bed No milk supplied Not as well maintained as it should be Toilet near pool was not working

Roominess,Separate living room from the bedroom,great balcony overlooking the harbour. Lots of facilities.

Some minor things,like screeching bathrooms taps when initially turned on,shower area could have been a bit wider.
