An excellent location at The Basin, near the park & Golf Club. Nice walk to the Turtle Park & centre of town. Nicely equipped unit -kitchen facilities, washing machine & drier, 2 bathrooms, books to read & puzzles to do, outdoor balcony. Air conditioned.

Could have been cleaner. Cigarette butts & packet left on outdoor balcony, stove grubby, dishwasher had things left in it, no cloth for wiping down benches, no information about the unit or about what to see & do in Bargara. Bed mattress was on a slope. Side lights didn’t work even after replacing light bulbs. TV wouldn’t work one night.

Location, location, location! The amazing rockpool (#The Basin) is at the doorstep, which is why we chose to stay here. Bedrooms are surprisingly large, the bathroom has plenty of space to move around. I love the 6-seat outdoor table in front (or back) to look toward the swimming pool and the sea, and a little retreat at the back (or front). Unfortunately, that retreat seems under-used. Free strong signal wifi is another reason my kids love to come back here.

The kitchenette is too tiny. The microwave is small and underpowered. It needs at least 4 minutes to warm up a half-full Chinese takeaway container of leftovers (just cold, not frozen) but the microwave can't run for more than 2 minutes each time. No cooking definitely, but even heating food is a time-consuming task.

I love it. It was so close to the beach! My family has always stayed here in the motel when in the area, but I've only visited before! Brilliant size room and good for families, space was great!

Unfortunately we couldn't get a park as it was very narrow car spaces with none we could get to! Even our family with smaller cars struggled! Cleanliness could be upgraded to keep the bathroom more hygienic in the shower area mainly, on the roof and then floor surrounds....other areas were fine considering age of the building! The lounge/chairs are very low and not user friendly but it's not the first motel I noticed that issue with! Overall I'm glad I've stayed here for the first/last time to see what it was like for myself!

Location

Bathrooms were mouldy. The electric jug would not turn off automatically except at power point. When it boiled the boiling water came thru the switch and Burt my finger. The person on duty said he would see if spare one around. This was not replaced so just had to remember to turn off at power point. The on suit very mouldy so used the second onsuite. Floor you could feel was not vacuumed.Cleaning sub standard

Wonderful location, had not clicked when booking that it’s right on the beach, just perfect. Powder supplied for free use of washing and drying machines. Awesome guy at reception, very helpful. Other guy vacuuming leaves was disappointed to miss my bagpipe solo on the beach and I’m sorry I just didn’t have time to unpack them again for another wee display. Next time!

Location was great backing onto the beach which had a beautiful walkway. We were in walking distance to the Golf Club and to the local coffee shops. Our unit was generous in size with a well laid out kitchen. Our only regret was that we didnt book for two weeks instead of one.

The location was fantastic. Direct access to the beach & park. The pool was great, & there were toys, & sand toys for the kids to share. The place is a bit older, but well maintained. We will be back there

I have had to think hard, but can't really find anything I didn't like. Maybe the height restriction for our car, but we were given a parking place, so that wasn't even an issue. Nope, can't think of anything I didn't like. I knew the units were older, and it was exactly as expected.

Great location. Backs on to the beach, at a place the locals call "The Basin". A short walk along to beach to Kelly's Beach, or in the other direction to cafes etc. Right next door to the golf club, if that's your thing - although the clubhouse is a bit tired looking these days. Good for a beer or two.

While we were lucky to get parking each day, the bays are not specifically marked to which apartment, so I guess you might be unlucky some times. The unit was really well appointed, and it was obvious that it is someone's home at some point. If I were the owner, I'd be a little annoyed with the cleaners, for leaving streak marks across the screen of the excellent Sony television.

The location was beachfront. Absolutely beautiful.

The extractor fan above the stovetop was damaged and not installed. The bathroom showers could have been cleaner and the extractor fan in the second bathroom was continually making a clicking sound, even though it wasn't turned on. Some light bulbs were missing from the bedroom sconces.

Absolutely loved the location. Apartments backed on to the beach and a beautiful playground with a large grassed area. Kids were able to be entertained and have a joyful dinner down by the beach without having to get in the car and go anywhere.

Would have enjoyed a mop in the apartment. Although was a short stay our feet coming back from the beach dirtied the floor in the bathroom and would have been nicer to mop up with a mop than using the white bath mat that easily dirtied. Furniture on the verandah was sun faded and didn’t look stirdy enough to sit on otherwise it would have been nice to sit on the verandah in the morning.
