Gorgeous loft apartment with everything needed for a good work stay. Appreciated having an useable kitchenette and good sized fridge as well so I could heat things up without eating out every meal. Good shower pressure was nice to have and staff were friendly and approachable. Plenty of street parking makes up for the small underground carpark and you're walking distance to plenty of food and shopping options. Good sized desk in the room meant I could comfortably get work done and power points were right behind the desk, so power was easy to get to. There was good light throughout the apartment and the blockout curtains in the loft upstairs were VERY effective at keeping out that crazy Queensland 4am summer sunlight. Wifi was solid and never slowed down once.

Mattress is a little too soft and gave me a sore back, but was workable with some position changes. air con vent was limp and shooting cold air straight down on my bald head while sleeping, so had to shove some socks in it to force it up a bit. Lift gets busy at times, particulary when the hosuekeeping stafff are active. Had to wait four rounds of the lift coming up from the carpark at one point. I would use the stairs, but it's four levels up haha. Seriously, none of it was a dealbreaker. It's a good property.

My daughter liked the view of the Burnett River, she was excited to see it when she opened the curtains in the morning. The rooms are nice, id say they are the best in Bundaberg itself, they are slightly outdated to me but only because I stay in Brisbane, Sydney and Noosa often and in those places the hotels are in competition with so many others that they must stay up to date with the latest trends.

The restaurant downstairs doesn't do breakfast room service which is a bit of a let down as there isn't to many super close places to get breakfast

Good secure under cover parking. Disability park right beside lift which was for me wonderful. The locality to Moncrief theatre and restaurants was very handy. Rooms large and very clean and beds extremely comfortable with large hanging space for clothes. Also nice view of the river. we took the upgrade for a small fee which was awesome. we were on the third floor of a four story Hotel. Highly recommend. We also noticed their was no noise from others rooms as in a lot of hotels.

it was a little dated but not terrible.

We stayed here for 2 nights coming from Brisbane (c.4 hour drive) to do The Lady Musgrave barrier reef day tour experience. Simple check in/out, easy parking, large rooms, comfy bed, strong air con. Despite being quite a remote location, the food around the hotel was good. The hotel restaurant served lovely dinner, the old Bundy tavern across the street had quick simple food and the gem was the river Cruz cafe next door for delicious brunch.

Not a major negative but the rooms are old (especially the bathrooms) and well worn. That said, they were clean and tidy and perfectly fine for two nights.

Location is great, staff are great, exceeded expectations in almost every way. On site restaurant does amazing food, though it is a little on the pricey end. Nearby breakfast options are amazing, highly recommend cafe next door. Short drive to attractions such as Bundaberg Rum distillery and turtle conservation sanctuary

No screen door on balcony or fly screens on windows. Cannot comfortably have either open without chance of bugs or other coming inside

Front desk staff excellent as was general manager. Had a problem needed to change from a two night stay to just one night as a planned excursion was cancelled due to the weather. Hotel said no problem but it had to go through booking.com. That is were problem had occurred they are not getting back to me or property.

Nothing really bed a bit soft but that is personal opinion.

Close to Ole Bundy Tavern for a quick dinner after travelling for many hours

Bathroom sliding door was broken , couldn’t slide it open or shut . My husband tried to fix it but couldn’t . Was open enough that you could just squeeze in / out . Reported to receptionist but no one there at the time to fix it .

We had a very quiet room overlooking the river. The room was extremely clean. We have stayed at Burnett Riverside in excess of ten times now. Our evening meal was delivered quickly and was absolutely delicious. The sticky date pudding we had for dessert was one of the best we have ever had. A storm was brewing which was not an issue as we had our car parked safely in the under building car park.

There is nothing we don't like about Burnett Riverside.

the slats in the toilet and bathroom doors.. that might be ok if you are travelling with family but not when you are travelling with friends. you can see and hear everything through them. lol it kind of made the doors totally pointless and we all like a little privacy sometimes..

Restaurant downstairs was great food. Nice view. Good staff. Very pleasant helpful staff at reception desk. Very comfortable bed. Good size room with kitchenette & small balcony. Quiet well soundproof room even when the pub across the road was going off. Early check in was very handy even at the one off $25 charge

The only problem we had was not enough parking underneath for all guests so first in best dressed. Parking out front so not too bad.
