I loved the privacy of having the garden view unit. Unit was self contained, complete with gas stove and all utensils and cooking crockery, with large living and dining , large separated room with curtain and comfy double bed and large bathroom that had amazing water pressure in shower. Sofa that turns into a bed perfect for younger kids. We all know there is nothing worse than having a tight space in a hotel/units irregardless of how many stay so that was a major plus. So close to the beach it was beautiful to be able to have a walk Oceanside after dinner. I also FaceTimed my finance and he said that we have to return together he was so impressed. Lastly I’d like to share a conversation I had with my brother the morning we left. I was tidying up our belongings and doing a final cleanup, I said to him that I would do a final sweep and then we would go, mind you I had swept about 5 times over the 12 hours before this. He goes “geez how many times do you need to sweep?” I said “mate when you leave a hotel you always leave it in a better condition then when you found it” He then said “how do you leave it better when it was already perfect?” I think that speaks volumes. Please enjoy a photo of the end results of my brother kicking my butt in monopoly. We truly had a fantastic night.

Before I note these out, these do not affect my opinion of that this was the best stay I’ve had at any unit/hotel ever! TV was a little slow to get started up but otherwise okay with free to air channels. Of course through no fault of the unit owner, Mosquitoes were terrible and even though the guests could easily bring their own, sometimes we forget like I did haha and maybe putting a cheap repellent or coils in the unit would be an extra cool feature but not a necessity. I do want to note that a can of fly and insect spray was left on outside table which helped.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach with views from the room we booked. The other rooms have lovely tropical garden views, so that's not bad, either. There is a path out the front, so you can walk up and down the bay or do parkrun there if you wish. Very quiet location and easy to access. Comfortable beds and kitchen to prepare your own meals.

Some of the crockery was dirty and the dishcloth and scrubbing pad were obviously well-used. In addition to the very well watered-down detergent, that made it difficult to clean. We bought stuff to clean our own things that we brought with us and left the supplied things as they were.

Beachfront location was amazing. Price probably reflected the condition of the property. Such a shame it could be so much better.

The room was pretty run down, needs an upgrade. Bed and sofa bed very hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen chairs hard and uncomfortable. Bbq was filthy, hadn’t been cleaned or even scraped down since the last use and pool was pretty dirty and dodgy. Didn’t see one person cleaning pool or doing gardening during our stay. Smoke alarm had been removed which is a big safety concern.

The lady at front desk was lovely, the room is basic with all you need .. great aircon, good shower and cold fridge. Reception on tv not so great but we sat by the water with stunning views. Pool a little unexpected but great for a dip in. Shuttle bus to town for a beer as taxis non existent. We will return soon, great value for a stay. Maybe get rid of some coconuts out of the tree as one fell close to us 😬 but in saying that we loved it! We live in Airlie and will definitely return 😊

Looked right out over the Ocean. Easy parking. easy pick up for key. Lady at reception arrived in 5 minutes after we called to say we were arriving. Very close to Horseshoe Bay that we wanted to snorkel at. We will come again. Vey happy with unit. A bit dated but clean and tidy. Fully recommend

would be great to have some cereal bowls in the kitchen. That is the only fault I could find and was not an issue as the kitchen was pretty well stocked.

I absolutely loved the view of the beach from the balcony. The parks nearby.The Managers were very friendly & helpful,especially when I accidently left my handbag containing all my money, bankcard & identification in a couples car that had stopped to give me a lift. Luckily the lady was kind & honest enough to return it to me . 😊

Lovely location - very quiet - old fashioned charm reminded me of family holidays back in the 1970s and 80's when everything was a lot quieter and simpler. Very roomy. Great tropical feel. Beach is right out the front of the property.

The price was great but the room was a bit basic. But I knew I wasn't paying heaps for the room so I didn't mind.

Location was fine. The Apartment had all of the three we needed for an overnight stay. Just a little age on the property. It’s good value for money. It was right beside the beach.

Worried about the Coconuts falling on our car in the car park. The building had a bit of wear and tear.

Location, facilities in the room. Lovely hot showers.

We arrived at our time, we said we would, no one at the office, had to ring. Lady drove down to let us in. Coconut trees at carpark are a hazard due to branches and coconuts falling onto the cars.

One of our favorite places we stayed on our holiday. Such friendly, kind service and wonderful views over the beach from the balcony. Our cabin was super cozy and safe and a fantastic place to relax we almost didn't leave the cabin. Fave part was the service, private short walk to the beach, pool and local markets. Thank you Mary-Anne for helping make our experience so great ❤
