The price was affordable. The unit was clean, and comfortably accommodated our group of four people. It was quite close to shops and restaurant options by car, but not within walking distance.

I deliberately booked a unit that had a kitchenette so we would have the option of preparing our own meals, BUT on inspection of the cupboard I only found two items of cooking equipment - one saucepan and one frypan, and they both looked in very poor condition. At least we could still use the kettle and microwave and I think I remember there being a toaster.

George was fantastic. Our fridge wasn’t working properly and he promptly came and fixed it for us. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Will be back again All staff are welcoming and continued to ask if we needed anything as we stayed for a week.

Only thing was the room could do with a broom but a lady staff member happily gave me a vacuum to use.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Ocean Breeze Units and when I come back to Bowen, this is where I will be staying. Easily the best value for money in Bowen and probably the entire Whitsunday region. When I arrived I was greeted by a super kind and softly spoken lady by the name of Maryanne. She was very helpful and maybe the most honest person I’ve ever met. The next day I met the caretaker George, who is extremely friendly, ultra generous and would no-joke give you the shirt off his back. George and Maryanne love Bowen and the Queens Beach area know everything about the region and I’m sure their huge smiles and endless generosity will have you loving the place too!

I can’t fault the place. The managers were too nice and I didn’t want to leave!

The location was good and plenty of room.

One of the hot plates at the back on left side was on even though we did not turn it on when using the stove top. We only used the front left & back right. We discovered the knob is broken, but still could not work out how to turn it off. Room 16

I like Maryanne, she has been very helpful with trying to meet my requests as I wasn't able to check in until around midnight, so she made sure that my room was prepared with access provided even though no one was there to welcome my arrival. The room was great, the AC was working fantastically, and it was actually enough for the size of the room being in Queensland during summer you would not want a tiny AC to try and cool down a huge room. best part of all the water pressure was fantastic!!!!

The property is located around a not so nice neighbourhood. I literally witnessed a servo around the corner from the property being robbed with the alarms blazing on my arrival and that did not make me feel safe at all.

It was the perfect spot, handy to the local beaches and all the facilities of Bowen. The apartment itself was neat, comfy and had all the features that we required. The Managers were friendly, discreet and created a friendly vibe. Definitely will be checking out again.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, the lounge room was a lot cooler with the aircon being situated there but it wasn't overall bad. It could do with a little updating, but that didn't affect our stay whatsoever.. although, having streaming tv would have been that little bit extra.

Absolutely a great value for money. Easy access, good parking spots, and a clean place to stay. Towels, sheets, and blankets were provided. The kitchen had everything you need, including stove,kettle, refrigerator,toaster, and utensils. The property also had a cool swimming pool. Communication with the host was easy, too.

Easy parking. Great to have a ground floor unit. The washing machines were very useful. Plenty of space and cupboards to put things. The fans were good, as we don’t like using air conditioning.

The frying pan needs to be replaced as it won’t heat up as it’s bent. Could have had another smaller pot provided.

Self contained unit. Great location, easy walk to park and beach. Excellent value for money. Rooms spacious, kitchen adequate. Unit was older style but very comfortable. Met by manager to hand over keys. Pool looked clean and inviting. Would be great in summer

Host was amazing, friendly and accomodating. Unit was clean, spacious with everything a family would need and absolute value for $. Location was perfect for us, quiet, peaceful and close to the beach.
