We loved our stay. Privacy of the cabin, the rustic charm and fire pit area.

It was extremely cold at night and the reverse cycle did not work on aircon. The space heater provided not nearly big enough to keep warm. The spa bath did not work. Quite disappointed as it was my husband’s 40th we were celebrating and we were really looking forward to a spa. Could not for the life of us get the satellite tv to work despite following the instructions. Remote for dvd player not working.

I had a cottage: Location is pretty remote! I was there alone and the first night was tough… lots of wildlife directly in front of the door making a bit of noise all night. The second night I already got used to it and enjoyed it! Bed is cozy, kitchen well equipped.

Just minor points: The floor in the cottage was not 100% clean. Also I could not use the pool because there were constructions (off-season), but this was not problem for me. Please note: no service/internet in the cottage,

Set in a beautiful rainforest with walks, privacy, tennis courts and canoes all available. Our cabin was beautifully rustic and felt worlds away from our daily lives. It had everything we needed and was magical. Anna was so helpful and friendly.

It would have been good to have a bag of firewood with instructions in the cabin with the option to add to the cost.

Each cabin was very private with great parking, we had a trailer with and there was plenty of room. The gardens and property on a whole was extremely well maintained and beautiful. Very relaxing to have a fireplace and great it was cold enough to enjoy

Couldn’t get spa bath to work, not sure if that was an extra but as it was in our room wouldn’t have thought so. Road in was pretty rough maybe some warning, and that was with us driving very slow

BOOK NOW,YOU WONT REGRET IT 10/10 Amazing property, Anna, the owner was friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable 😴 nice after a day's hiking exploring all the different trails. Ferns also provides volleyball,basketball, tennis, canoeing with out a long process to get equipment as sports shed remains open you help yourself and return so simple. FERNS HIDEAWAY 10/10

The public spa was out of order, however we had a spa bath on room. So no big deal, Not am issue really.

Beautiful property with a river down the back which you can zip around in canoes all afternoon then chill on the bank on nice chairs in the shade and enjoy wine and cheese. The cabins are very private and lots of cool activities to do like tennis basket ball and other grass games. Nice little In ground pool and the beds are comfortable with nice linen…

I really loved the location, the peace and the feeling of connection with nature 🌿

I was confused with the cabin description.- from my understanding it sounded like there were was an open space and also a separate bedroom however when we arrived in person there was no separate bedroom.

We loved the peaceful location. It was easy to find, the cabins are located in their own little bit of heavenly privacy and very comfortable. Made for relaxing and watching the birds. The whole Byfield area is beautiful. Well worth revisiting when we have more time.

We really loved the accommodation and location. Had a lot of fun rowing up the river then played some tennis/badminton. Great takeaway food for dinner. We loved how quiet and peaceful the place was. We will definitely come back as soon as we can.

Loved the canoes at the creek Had a great time canoeing with the grandchildren. The tennis court was great as well.

The pool was not operational. The shower in the cabin was spurting out water. Needed to be fixed.
