Amazing! The photos need updating, the cabins have been beautifully tended to & repainted to compliment the stunning gardens. Money has been spent on extremely comfy beds & quality linens including bamboo mattress toppers. We stayed for a week & received a full linen refresh & clean at the midpoint. They made room for our trailer as we were relocating & have washing facilities as well as a beautiful pool/tennis court, gardens & BBQ area with games. But the real gem of the place is Kathy & Mick. They go above & beyond to ensure your comfort, whilst being eco friendly. Just text them on your way back after a day out & they'll turn on the AC via an app to make your cabin cool & comfy on return. But that's nothing compared to what they did for us. We had a freak hail storm pass on one of our nights. Not only did they call us to warn us (when it hit emu park) in case we wanted to move our car under safety at the shops. Amazing already. But as we'd had a couple of beers & said we'd ride it out & hope for the best, they said " Can we drive your car for you?" So they took our car to safety, waited out the storm & then returned it undamaged. I have never known anything like this in hospitality. Not only have they fixed up this beautiful retreat to an amazing standard, but they continue to suprise you with their hospitality. We know Yeppoon very well & visit family regularly, but this was our first time staying here. I cannot recommend Gumnut Glen cabins highly enough. 10 stars would not be enough. Absolutely brilliant.

As far as the resort is concerned I have zero complaints. However it is close to the beach & creek overflows etc, so if travelling during summer & wet season, bring mosquito repellants.

Such a relaxing spot, away from the main tourist area but still not far - as long as you have your own transport. The accommodation had everything we wanted to be able to stay put and relax in the beautiful surroundings. The thoughtfulness of the property owners contacting us prior to our stay was very welcomed. It helped make our stay even more comfortable. Owners were delightful, not imposing but having a quickly friendly chat if we were sitting on our balcony. It was fun to be able to play a few lawn games like bean bag and frisbee toss near the pool and enjoy a bbq after a swim. Tennis if you like as well. Definitely be looking at another stay in the future!

The location really is the perfect retreat for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We loved the pretty, peaceful bushland setting. The swimming pool is surrounded by plants and palm trees and is a perfect place to relax. We stayed in a cabin with 1 queen, with a single and a bunkbed in another bedroom. The self-contained cabin had everything we’d need for cooking if we chose to. It was spotlessly clean and well laid out. The reverse cycle air-conditioning worked well but we only needed it one of the 7 nights. The outdoor seating on the verandah was relaxing, quiet and fairly private. Only 2.5km from Yeppoon CBD, the Lagoon, beaches, restaurants and cafes it’s nice and close to everything. Loved being able to park right at the cabin and used the immaculately maintained pool every day. We didn’t use the BBQ, tennis or lawn games but it was fun watching the families and children taking full advantage of the great facilities. Kathy, Michael and staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. They made the stay even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay at Gumnut Glen Cabins again.

For our needs I can't think of anything we didn't like, nor anything that wasn't provided.

Nice two bed cabin comfortably furnished kitchen great full size fridge freezer hot plates microwave. Good size TV aircon worked well modern bathroom good water pressure clean throughout. Gardens well maintained pool and tennis court

It was all fine….not really walking distance to town little bit of traffic noise from busy road. That said it’s an easy drive to shops restaurants and beach

The cabins are nicely spaced on the site and are surrounded by well kept manicured gardens. The pool is clean and inviting, the BBQ area has plenty of seating on a grassed area. The setting gives the feel of being in the bush but is only a few kilometres from central Yeppoon. Host’s Kathy and Michael were exceptional

Kathy was so accommodating and such a lovely lady she recommended the most amazing place for dinner the cabin was a little home away from home so maintained and a great place to stay! This will become our new regular spot when passing through on our trips to Brisbane can not highly recommend Kathy and her husband enough !

Lovely staff, great pool, beautiful grounds. Good location for accessing town, beaches, GKI ferries. Quiet setting. Fun outdoor games and nice BBQ setting. Teens appreciated the open WiFi.

The cabin was a little smaller than I expected, but cosy. Would be lovely to have some loungers by the pool.

Kathy and her husband were amazing, during our stay. Nothing was an issue. It’s our second time there and we love it. So close to Yeppoon lagoon and Woolies and Coles. There’s a little gluten free cafe up further near the water park on the esplanade.

Wifi is hit and miss. With little kids it’s a bummer especially at night. But otherwise not a deal breaker.

The location is so beautiful-the cabins nestled amongst trees and greenery. Kathy put our heating on before arriving so our cabin would be warm. Everything was clean. Beds comfortable. Shower great water pressure and hot water. Fantastic value for money.

I had breakfast at a cafe on the beach. Gumnut Cabins was located close to the Yappoon beach and commercial centre. Easy to find.

Wifi reception was poor. It could do with a signal booster. My phone reception was bad, but that is an issue with my provider (amaysim).
