Comfortable bed Clean spacious room Quiet Location.

Extra charge for Dog.($30) TO room rate. Not advised anywhere on Booking.com website. Late check in...Locked doors at Reception with no advice of check in procedure. Go to the bar and find staff member who can contact check in staff member .

Almost everything! It was a different room with a different layout from the "to" journey the previous week but still very roomy and well laid out. Very clean. Reception, bistro and bar staff very nice, polite, helpful and went above and beyond for which I am very grateful. Food was fantastic. Due to road works we were running late and were due to arrive the same time as the bistro closing. They took our order while we were arriving in Rockhampton and once checked in and settled I went to the bistro to find the order ready: food hot, drinks cold and a lovely server insisting on bringing it back to our room for me. Overnight stay was almost perfect (slight hiccup - see what I didn't like) BUT no harm, no foul and we will DEFINITELY stay again.

Strangely our entry door didn't have a way to lock from the inside we could only pull shut (this was different from the room we had the week before). One of my kids didn't pull it hard enough (and I didn't check) when taking our dogs out for a toilet stop prior to bed and we were woken with someone pulling our door open. Thankfully, our daschund took offence to this and chased them through the carpark. We were sure to check it was truly closed following that. I've not had an entry door that has no option of a locking mechanism on the inside (most I've had have the additional chain lock as well). Might be something to consider?

Did not avail of breakfast services. Location very convenient for early departure in the morning. The lady from the cafeteria who attended to our evening meal was very obliging and the meal great..

It would have been helpful to have more grassy area for attending to needs of pet. It was fortunate that I was travelling with a friend as the parking bay allocated to my room was taken on my arrival. I can understand if management okayed this knowing there was only one car but two rooms but it would have helped to have been told.

I really like the location and very clean generally. Room is basic very comfortable and all you could want. Microwave plates and cups so I could have my food although there was an option of room service with quite an extensive menu. Was surprisingly nice considering it was a pet motel.

I did notice that the towels weren’t washed terribly well. Make up stains on some of the towels. Aircon in my room Room 3 very rattley need some attendance

Staff were excellent - the lovely lady at reception was welcoming, efficient and polite. Meals were very good and hotel staff were also really great. My dog was allowed to stay and was made welcome. The room was basic but spotlessly clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We were very happy with the experience.

The only slight downside was that the dog-friendly part of the hotel for a meal was the smokers' area. Fortunately there was enough space to sit away from the smokers - and they were all friendly too.

They have room service , the eye fillet is lovely . They also have facility for streaming services . Travelling with pets I can’t leave the room so be able to stream a service like Netflix makes a big difference to my stay .

The carpet . I prefer place with tiles or floor boards . No one was at reception so it was a little bit of a delay .

As I drink decaf coffee, I supply my own. The room was adequate for my needs. Pleasant staff who did their best to sort the internet problems. I only used the restaurant for one meal, which was very nice. I used frozen meals and my own breakfasts.

The internet for one, it kept throwing me off when I was in the middle of reports that I was working on. I was suprised that there was no dish washing liquid or tea towel supplied. The walls were paper thin and I was very aware of the workmen in rooms on either side of me, being on the move from 5am.

The location was fantastic, and the room was better than expected. You get a car park right in front of your door, a nice big open space to walk your dog around. Unfortunately, the pub was closed due to the public holiday, but I think it would've been good to have somewhere to eat and drink without leaving the accommodation.

The location, the food, the service and the professional manner in which hotel administration handled an error which meant we were charged twice for the accomodation. Great water pressure on the shower.

The double bed was uncomfortable, the air con had a slight rattle, chipped crockery and no long life milk.

Very clean and pleasant rooms. Very quiet at night. Was great that I could bring my dog there. Be aware that there is a cleaning charge which is fair enough. Good location and easy to find and the pub has a menu that you can order room service from. Had a nice steak.

My bed was a little bit uncomfortable. I think the mattress was a little bit old.
