We stopped in Rockhampton on the way to somewhere else- decided to stay the night. Found Motel 98, booked in. The owner, TK was wonderful. Gave us loads of info on what to do, which we would never have known. Room was fantastic. Powerful shower. Really clean. We had cocktails in the eve which were delicious, followed by dinner and lovely wine. Chatted for ages with TK and his family. We really felt like winners having decided to stay.

At the back of the property was a construction site???? Really really noisy at around dawn. But a very small gripe.

Love the motel. It’s a real gem. The swimming pool and coconut trees with lawn in the centre are a lovely setting. Always clean and tidy. The family who run the motel are absolutely wonderful and have excellent, attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant is great with an atmospheric deck out front and yummy food.

The Internet connection is really bad. Can’t watch anything on laptop or even on my phone. That’s the only negative about this place.

Bed was very comfortable Room was Clean. Manager and Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meal was very good at the Restaurant, after a 45 minute wait.

Lack of Available, Visible and easily accessible power points adjacent to the bed needed for Medical Machine. A problem at all three Motels we stayed in on this trip, Perhaps they are trying to cut down on power use. And our room was hard to find without adequate signage. Had to get Manager to open door to Garden as lock was very hard to open for an 82 year old.

My recent stay at this hotel proved to be an exceptional experience. The comfort and serenity provided by this establishment were truly outstanding.Very peaceful ambiance, allowing for a restful night's sleep. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the cleanliness of the hotel. Every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment was evident. It was refreshing to see such high standards upheld. Additionally, I must commend the staff for their unwavering support and friendliness throughout my stay. From the moment I checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Their willingness to assist with any request and their genuine warmth only added to the overall pleasant experience. Big Thanks goes to the honorable owner and his lovely family :)

The air con was great and the bed was lovely and big. Very spacious room. We loved that the restaurant was just there and had a great menu to choose from. the staff were very friendly and interacted with us. Husband loved the high shower rose and spacious shower - He is over 6 feet and struggles with some motels. Staff also gave me our request of a ground level room. Husband has sore knees and this was much appreciated.

Staff were awesome. Some of the nicest people out there. The attached restaurant is where we had dinner, and the food was sublime. The room was one of the cleanest we have stayed in and had everything we needed for an overnighter in Rocky for a show, very close to Pilbeam Theatre, and anything we needed was walking distance.

Maybe two extra pillows instead of just one. But that's just me being picky because I missed out.

Staff very accommodating to requests. Bed & pillows comfortable. Bathroom could do with a refresh of paint but still great. Ground floor perfect 👌 Nice and quiet & secluded from noise & traffic Perfectly located to great food facilities & shopping Will definitely be staying again, & hoping to try the restaurant as this visit it was very full

I liked the ability to leave my room and go out in to a grassed courtyard area around the pool. We as a family were able meet at the large table and have breakfast together. So much better than having concrete and tiles everywhere. All of the Staff from room maintenance to restaurant were so friendly, helpful, and efficient.

A little more shade over the tables would have been nice. The reason I gave a 3/4 for quiet room was because of the building noise next door. That was out of your control.

Very convenient location near the Pilbeam Theatre and within walking distance. Bar out the front with food and drinks. Great location to a lot of eateries if interested. Parking on site which was great. Very comfy bed and lovely facilities with everything I needed for a great stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Whole booking in process was super easy. For the walk back from the theatre that night I felt safe as there was a lot of other people around and also at the bars and eateries along the way. Wasn't too far a walk by myself.

Floor in bathroom had dirt/dust in the corners but part from this was clean. I was in a room up top right around the corner and felt a bit uncomfortable walking there alone, being a female walking by myself. There is cameras but I thought that anyone could be hiding there without knowing. Parking is a bit squishy. Would be good to have the parking spaces a little wider to fit bigger vehicles in. My car wasn't big, but I was parked next to two big vehicles which took up a lot of room.

Friendly family run property attached to a great restaurant. Good location within Rockhampton. Free parking. Small outdoor pool.

It was priced accordingly but rooms would benefit from some modernisation and a bit of brightening up. Facilities were adequate and comfortable enough. Not fancy but no complaints.
