After we travelled a long distance (11 hours), we booked this last minute. I must say, we were impressed. Neat and tidy, large room, and the shower pressure after being bush for days was very welcomed. All in all, great stop over.

There was no microwave, but the staff member told us the old owners had removed them, and they were putting them back in the rooms. Ours unfortunately didn't have one, which we were hoping for to make some porridge for breakfast. Not a huge deal, but good to know. Also, it didn't bother us after camping new railway lines and animals for the past week, but it is next to the main road. You can't hear a great deal, but just to keep in mind.

I was impressed with bathroom dispensers, Australian made offering hand wash, body lotion, shave cream and shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. No tiny little bottles or tiny soap that would barely serve one person. Bed and pillows, king size and very comfortable. The room was large and well laid out, warm in Winter. Good hot shower. Everything clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.

Would have been nice to see the shower floor refurbished as the rest of the room had been updated with fresh paint. Noticed a small hole in the sheets and the shower head needs replacing but still worked well.

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The little touches were appreciated - quality tea bags, little boxes of milk and bottles of water in the fridge and some bikkies for weary travelers. The restaurant was convenient for our early morning start. No complaints whatsoever, had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

The bed was made military style - I could hardly get in the sheets lol. Seriously though, there was nothing to dislike.

Here’s a polished version of your review: This is the best motel I’ve ever stayed at! The bathroom is stunning, with a large, bright mirror that makes the space feel luxurious. The shower room is spacious, with very good water pressure and hot water. The solid concrete walls provide excellent soundproofing—so much better than the usual thin wood panels. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding to the overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this motel!

The breakfast was a little disappointing, had the shakshuka eggs for breakfast, eggs were fried and not baked with sauce, the meal did not quite meet expectations, particularly after the fantastic steak and coral trout the previous night!

Office staff friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. On entering the room there was an immediate feeling of calm and the fragrance was lovely - nothing like the usual musty/mouldy smells you get. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in our allocated room which was as advertised. Clean, comfortable and quiet (Room 12). Dinner at the restaurant was well priced and the meal was lovely; well enjoyed.

There was nothing that I did not like about the Stirling Motel. It was a very pleasant stop over for our journey.

On our 6,000 km round trip Sydney to Mt Isa, Mt Isa to Townsville, Townsville to Sydney this was our pick of all the motels we stayed at. A special shoutout to the motel manager who contacted us by cell phone soon after making the booking to confirm we did not need a single bed as well as the main bed so that we could be put in a similar room just with more space. His attentiveness to us upon arrival & during our stay was noteworthy. Apparently, he & his partner manage motels on a 48 day out of 60 day roster. Outstanding

Superior motel close to the city centre. Very helpful friendly staff that go above and beyond. Clean and tidy rooms with excellent facilities. Two very cold aircons. Full kitchen with everything you need and close to multiple restaurants and takeaways if you're not up to cooking. Very comfortable bed and good lighting throughout. We were able to park our trailer outside for free. Great value for money! Love this place - we have been back many times.

Only issues were that some of the furnishings need refreshing. Some of the curtains were broken, and the dining table was badly worn. The media player software built into the TV was a bit difficult to use, but fortunately, we had our FireStick with us.

By far the most comfortable beds we have slept on in weeks of traveling! The rooms were quiet and tastefully decorated. Bathrooms were clean and very functional. We had a good meal from Buddy Boy Restaurant, which is on the property, and they provided covered takeaway containers, trays, and utensils. Very convenient!

Lacked the history of some hotels in Rockhampton, but makes up for this in comfort and convenience.

Close to the hospital and Ramsey private hospital. Easy to navigate to and get out of especially being on the highway. Lots of parking and the beds were comfy with semi decent pillows which was a bonus as I forgot mine

Little of wear and tear on chair and a couple of cracked shower tiles but was clean and well kept.
