I loved my cute and spacious cabin, surrounded by pretty greenery and flowers. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay including a selection of cooking pans and utensils; a home from home. Not far from the highway, the location is good too; unfortunately there is road noise. It's not a rural setting. It's on the river, and it's nice to be beside the water but this stretch of the river isn't especially attractive (mid-city) and you wouldn't want to swim in it. And, being water, it does mean there are mosquitoes. Another downside is the wifi which kept dropping out despite the best efforts of the kind lady at reception. All in all though I had a lovely night's stay and would recommend it if you have to stay in the centre of Rockhampton.

Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette had a stovetop which we weren’t expecting and made cooking much easier. The room had air conditioning and television. The park is located an easy walk from the centre. Towels and soap provided.

The park seemingly doesn’t offer late check out as when I queried about keeping the cabin for longer due to our late bus, the only option we were offered was to pay for another night. No bowls in the kitchen.

the location was fabulous, quiet and close to the city and our friend's home & business. Very appreciative of ice being ready in the freezer for our drinks!! and mini milk for our coffee.

Perhaps a little maintenance is due for the leaking fridge and shower.....and although clean and tidy, it's a little tired....a fresh coat of paint here and there would do wonders....but I'm only nitpicking here.

With a comfy bed, a great shower with good pressure, and a ceiling fan which is rare these days, the comfortable room felt very home

Because it's near a river there will be mosquitoes which can't be helped without coils or just spend more time indoors after dark.

Can't really fault it – nice, comfortable, spacious and clean cabin with good facilities. Could get all the main channels on the TV. Wifi signal wasn't very good, but I had my own Telstra mobile data on me, so it wasn't a sticking point. Would definitely stay here again.

It was close to every thing and very quiet

The shower could have been cleaner as we had to wash it first before we got in it as there were black hair up the shower walls, where someone had shaved in the shower. Go bitten by midges while sleeping which wasn’t good as I got sick from them

Easy check-in and check-out. Kind staff. Excellent value for money. The cabin was super clean and very well equipped. Tv with lots of channels, wardrobe, fridge, kettle, toaster, full cuttlery, toiletteries and towels provided. Comfy bed and spotless linen. Amazing! Super recommended.

Staff were friendly, accommodation is roomy, and very quiet considering the location so close to main roads.

The furniture was a little dodgy, but generally the place was quite good. Would consider for a longer stay.

We stayed in a cabin and thought it was very good budget accommodation. The location for us was great as we were able to walk to the Criterion Hotel for dinner and didn't need to take our car. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. We stayed for 1 night as a stopover heading north.

Can't think of anything that could have made it better.
