Beautiful view from the room. Large spacious accommodation, huge bed. Lovely to have two bathrooms and even better the use of a bath. Kitchen area very good size, sofas are comfortable as was the bed. The best feature was having our own garage to house the car underneath our apartment. Sunrise was amazing. We ordered a one bedroom but had a two bedroom apartment, nice upgrade especially as it was my birthday.

Wifi was terrible, could hardly keep the connection. The hill but you can't do anything about that. The name villa mar Colina in Portuguese means house on the hill, so I should have realised this when I booked it. Also the locals love to whizz past in their cars and park up reeving their engines most of the day and night.

The villa was very clean and well serviced with amazing views. Our apartment was lucky enough to face the ocean and we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The beds were comfortable and all amenities we needed were there. The apartment was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

The wifi/internet access could have been better. We found it didn't always allow us to connect and apps on the TV circled or didn't log in. We also had movies stop and not play due to the intermittent wifi. Our main bedroom also needed a blind or cover on the semi circle window as it faced East and the morning sun would stream in at 5am each day. Whilst it was lovely to see, it wasn't ideal for sleep quality.

I really enjoyed my stay in the 2-bedroom apartment at Villa Mar Colina. The remote check-in went smoothly, and so did the key drop-off when checking out. The villa was very clean, quiet, and incredibly spacious. I really enjoyed the feeling of being in a full-sized townhouse, despite not needing the second bedroom. The balcony was huge and really stunning. It faced directly onto the ocean. I spent the nights lying on the banana lounge enjoying the cool ocean breeze, and looking up at the stars. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was great, the water pressure in the main bathroom allowed for a great shower, and I had access to Prime on TV. There is a lovely cafe called Flour around the corner where I had a beautiful breakfast. There is also a plunge pool on the property, although my schedule was too busy to use it. The Villa is at the top of a very steep, large hill, and access even on-site involved walking up a sloped driveway and stairs. I found walking along the sea-front fencing, on the grass, to get up and down the hill, was easier than walking up the road or footpath. In the heat, the pedestrian access is quite challenging, but the views are really worth it. Get a taxi to and from the property if you can.

Oh my goodness what an amazing apartment. We stayed one night on way from airlie to hervey bay. Wish we could have stayed another night. It was huge with everything you need. Balcony sweeps around apartment and is also huge. Endless sea views right outside balcony. Can't praise this place enough for price, location and cleanliness. We ate in The Alley which is a two minute walk from apartment where they serve until 730. Again highly recommend. Food and service was superb

There is nothing to not like

Fantastic views and great location. Walk to beach and shops in minutes, the hill was no problem for us or the kids. The view was amazing, great way to start and finish the day looking out at the islands. Parking was easy, if not a bit tight for larger vehicles, but heaps of spots out front if needed. After hours check in was super easy. The unit was very clean and well equiped, but is definitely an older building, with a few minor, mainly cosmetic, blemishes. All the beds were comfy, and the lounge was big enough for us all to chill on the odd wet day. Overall a great spot, and we would definitely go there again, thanks.

This property is the best location in Yeppoon for views in my opinion. People drive up to the lookout opposite us to see the view while we just sat on our balcony.We had the two bedroom rooftop apartment with super spacious deck.Worth noting it is actually two levels and the bedrooms are downstairs. It is super spacious and the kitchen is stocked substantially with cooking utensils even a coffee plunger which shoud be a must these days..who drinks international roast?? You can see the views just sitting on the couch. We didn't get to try the pool as it was a bit chilly in July but it looked lovely and was sheltered from southerly winds. You could walk to town if you didn't mind climbing back up the steep hill but otherwise one minute drive! There's a garage attached to the apartment for your vehicle. Highly recommend!

The appartments were spacious and well located close to town

Total lack of maintenance - the front door was extremely hard to even open and shut, I could barely manage it my myself due to this. The screen doors and sliding doors onto the balcony were buggered, again extremely hard to open and shut. The outside light didn’t work which made it hard to navigate the 2 sets of stairs In the dark and was quite a hazard because of this.

Our 3 bedroom villa was perfect for our family, beautiful views with clean and comfortable beds. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed, including extra pillows and blankets. Kids absolutely loved staying there and the pool was a great bonus for us too. Remote garage with plenty of room. Air Con in all rooms as well as fans, beautiful ocean breeze too. Walk/scoot straight down the hill to the beach/shop fronts. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Not really "didn't like" as such, as nothing can be done about it, however not much extra/guest parking onsite and the steep driveway was hard for us to get up in our car up initially (that being said, it is low and an extra long vehicle, others were perfectly fine driving in and out).

Location is great. Individual garage top. Apartment fab. We had a great stay and found the apartment had everything we needed. Great wifi. Great TV. Kitchen and layout excellent. Plenty of bedding. Fabulous staff at the end of the phone at all times to help. Awesome washer and dryer, aircon, fans.

The double bed was a little softer than I would choose. A couple more soaps would have been good for basins as well as showers. That said I am sure we could have asked for more!

Large spacious apartment with great views up and down the coast. Very large roof top verandah where we had a prime view of the paragliders leaping from the cliff in front of us. Aircons worked well and bed was reasonably comfortable. Location was great close to main street, shops and restaurants, but it was at the top of the hill so expect a steep walk. Reasonably quiet complex given that it was NY.

Given that we booked for a week, it would have been helpful to have a few more kitchen supplies such as salt and pepper (they were empty), paper towels, glad wrap or more than one rubbish bag and while there was shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, there wasn't any body wash which I found unusual.
